Why John McCain Should Vote for JD Hayworth for the U.S. Senate!

by Michael Holliday

To do what’s best for our country, John McCain should immediately and without hesitation: (1) halt his race for the Arizona Senate seat; (2) apologize to the American people for his failed political policies—but not before endorsing and then casting his vote for JD Hayworth!

Here’s why:

(1)     Mental health requires that one submit oneself to something higher than himself, be it God, love, truth, family, country, etc.  John has a personal moral obligation and public duty to put aside his selfish political aspirations in favor of something greater than himself, that is, the greater good of our nation by supporting JD Hayworth’s ethically superior political positions.

(2)     Dr. M. Scott Peck MD, author of the best-selling The Road Less Traveled, stated that sanity “is the adherence to reality at all costs [1].” The dictates of reality; hence, sanity, require that John McCain face his political failures and accept the reality of the damage that they’ve done to our nation and way of life.  The recognition of these facts will aid the healing process of both our nation and McCain, himself.  To do otherwise would be a further continuation of his insane policies; hence, further deepening his own apparent political psychosis and consequential damage to America.

John McCain

vs.

J.D. Hayworth

Opposed the Bush tax cuts. Voted against repealing the Death Tax. The Club for Growth says McCain’s overall record on taxes “is profoundly disturbing and anti-growth.”

Taxes

Helped to author the Bush tax cuts and supports repealing the Death Tax. JD has a higher lifetime rating from Citizens Against Government Waste than John McCain does.

Voted FOR the big bank bailouts and proposed an additional $300 Billion bailout of all bad debts, making the taxpayers responsible for the bad decisions of others.

Bailouts

Opposed the big bank bailouts, opposed the Obama plan, and opposed the McCain plan to leave taxpayers holding the bag for the nation’s bad loans.

Wrote the bill granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. McCain’s bill was estimated to cost the taxpayers more than $2.6 Trillion [2].

Amnesty

Helped lead the fight against the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill. JD is a national leader in the fight to secure our borders and protect our nation.

Opposed the Federal Marriage Amendment that would have protected and preserved marriage as between one man and one woman.

Marriage

Supported the Federal Amendment and believes it is critical that marriage be protected from those who would redefine it.

Co-authored the McCain-Lieberman Cap & Trade bill.

Cap & Trade

Opposes all Cap & Trade legislation and rejects phony climate change data.

and believes that a free and vigorous
debate is always in the best interests
of our state and our nation.

Opposes enhanced interrogation techniques, supports closing Guantanamo Bay, and supports treating terrorists like criminal defendants instead of enemy combatants.

Terrorism

Supports our military and its use of enhanced interrogation techniques. Believes that Guantanamo Bay should remain open and that terrorists should be treated as such.

Voted to confirm this far-left activist as Attorney General of the United States.

I too wish that McCain would withdraw – but think his ego is too big for that. He loves the “power” too much.

  2. Jane 001 says

    I share that view.

  3. Truthfully, he should take the intellectually honest Spector route and change his affiliation (which he publicly flirted with twice before)!

He should then take Larry King’s vacated spot at CNN and interview Joe Lieberman and Lindsey (Light in the loafers) Graham!

La Raza will be a major sponsor!

  4. The Mole says

McCain bets on the apathy of the uninformed voter. He counts on voters staying uninformed. If they knew about the kind of person his is or how he stands on issues they wouldn’t vote for him. He represents only himself and is supported by only those gaining personally from his election. That’s why they attack and destroy anyone showing the slightest dissension in his ranks. Wonder how his good friend Ms Verdone is doing these days. She must have been promised a lot to stay quiet.

Carlist – this has never been about intellectually honesty for McCain. It is and always has been about ego.

  5. tumbleweed says

McCain is not interested in a greater America. He is CFR. He is after one-world governance. That’s why our borders are invisible to him.

  6. I popped a big bowl of popcorn and munched away as I chugged an ice cold soda…and started to read this post but opted for a more relevant experience…so I watched an old rerun of a predictable and boring movie.

  7. The Mole says

Well I get the old, predictable and boring part. But McCain is not like a movie. Even a bad one has a point.

  8. Ann:

And that movie featured your candidate!

  9. Jacklyn M. says

    Ann: hahahaha, touché

  10. This has been one humpfunky personal attack fest from McCain.

  11. McCain has had his hand on the nation’s rudder for decades and look at the mess he has got us into. I can’t ignore his record any longer. If elected, McCain will simply return to his pre-campaign liberal ways. Perhaps that is why the Democrats are hoping he gets re-elected. I’m a life long Republican and I have voted for McCain more than once, however, it’s time to retire Mr. McCain. Hayworth is not perfect, but, I’m confident he will stand firm and fight the liberal onslaught our nation is facing. With new conservative representation in the senate, we at least have a chance of holding the line against the further decline of this great nation. Nothing personal McCain supporters, but, I must put the love of my country above loyalty to a public servant.

Yet here you are… Like a bad penny you return! Well if it was about McCain in SE Asia in 1993 the picture was “The Creature From the Black Lagoon”

If it was about his reaching across the Aisle It would be “From Here to Eternity”

It it was about the McCain-Feingold then the flick was “Don’t Say a Word”

Of course, if it was about his Kennedy Amnesty bill clearly it was the Sci Fi Horror flick, “Aliens” and its sequel “Alien Resurrection”

Finally if it was a pic about WHAT McCain has done for/to Arizona, obviously it’s “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Arizona)”!

Though I do think of sequels ad nauseum of “Halloween”; when I consider how long McCain’s been freaking out Arizona!!! LOLOL

  13. I saw ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ tonight. That’s a good movie with Miss Jessica Tandy and Mr. Morgan Freeman.

  14. Everyone loves to go after John McCain because of his independence, but McCain is right on the big issues. McCain is a true small government politician in the same vain as Tom Coburn and Paul Ryan, and his support of the surge in Iraq saved that war.

Hayworth is a Jack Abramoff stooge that voted for huge government expansions like Medicare part D. Politicians like Hayworth are the reason that Democrats creamed Republicans in 2006 and 2008.

  15. Iris Lynch says

    Glen Beck’s my hero,

You are freaking out the inmates! Rampant creativity and imagination does that!

    Love it!

  16. John is too selfish to resign. He thinks of himself only.

  17. Jack Hammer says

What planet are you living on?

    Did Coburn support T.A.R.P.?

Did Hayworth vote against tax cuts?

Did J.D. advance an amnesty which would have, according to the Heritage Foundation, cost the taxpayers close to a trillion dollars?

Has the “Surge” gotten us out of Iraq?

And since you’re concerned about stooge roles, perphaps you’d be interested in McCain’s relations with Charlie Keating and Scott Rothstein, our ‘small government’ senator’s paymasters!

And finally, are Ryan and Coburn on board for “Cap n Trade”?

John McCain is as much against big government as a louse against bacteria!

    Wise up!

  18. Rosco P Coltrane says

I think having McCain bow out of the race is a great idea. Then it can be a real contest between Hayworth and Deakin.

  19. Since you all brought up Dr. Coburn, let me set the record straight. Dr. Coburn and Senator McCain have been working to end pork and earmarks since we sent Dr. Coburn to the Senate to help out Senator McCain.

Anyone with any reading comprehension knows that JD Hayworth is a lover of pork and earmarks and never met one he didn’t like during his time in the House. Then JD got wrapped up with Abramoff and some of you want to go after McCain who never went on TV with a scam on giving away free money like JD?

Give me a break — last person we need in the Senate is Hayworth and his love of earmarks, pork, and lobbyists. Dr. Tom needs help to continue to fight not someone who is a supporter of overspending on unnecessary items.

You should be ashamed of yourself. You know as well as I do that this article is beyond twisted! McCain voted against Tax cuts because WE COULD NOT AFFORD THEM! Hello, do you spend money you don’t have? You must, like the rest of America, spend spend spend…and let the generations to come pay for our selfishness in government. Yes, he did vote on TARP…and it has been paid back to the government (which I am sure guys with spending like JD have already spent elsewhere) McCain is against Amnesty, say it as many times as you like, but everything I have come across does not say amnesty!!! McCain is AGAINST Obama’s CAP & TAX! Terrorism, well if you were a POW I suppose you would have the right to feel strongly about water boarding, but since you are a pathetic half truth kind of writer, you have no right. I am sure I have some things even a little beefed down as I do not have the honors of knowing McCain or anyone in that realm of the campaign. WHat I do know is what I read and what I watch and your articles make me a bit angry as they are so one sided. I suppose after the debates you are going to have to apologize for lies or twisting of the truth statements your boy makes.

  21. Stephen Kohut says

    Jennifer,

Slow day at McCain’s campaign office?

    McCain-Kennedy = Amnesty
    McCain-Liberman = Cap & Tax
    McCain-Feingold = Anti 1st Amendment Rights
TARP – Goverment takeover of companies and industries that should have been handled by bankruptcy courts

We need McRINO like a drowning man needs a boat anchor.

  22. Did Sen Coburn support T.A.R.P.

Johnny Mack did along with billions of pork to accompany it when it went doen the first time!

Does Sen/Dr Coburn support Embryonic Stem Cell research?

And did Sen. Coburn support the McCain-Kennedy
    “Comprehensive” Immigration measure?

Or would he do so now?

Does he support the Lieberamn, Graham McCain approach to Cap and Trade legislation>

Interested folks would like to know and since you’ve taken it upon yourself to act as his spokesman and clear the air, it wouldn’t be too much to ask you to fill us in.

I, for one admire Sen Coburn, and don’t think he’d ever sink to the level of a McCain!

But i guess you’ll try to prove otherwise!

  23. The above post and questions were addressed to “Sooner Fan” #20

    McCain-Rudman, McCain-Lieberman, McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Graham, McCain-Brown, McCain-Snowe, McCain-Collins

These are “natural” allies and accompaniests for The John, but Coburn or DeMint would be mindboggling!

You: You should be ashamed of yourself.

Me: Who? Me? I’m not ashamed. Yawn. I’m sleepy reading your big grump response you little McCain-bot. We can wind you up like a little McCain-bot and watch you twirl around in anger.

You: You know as well as I do that this article is beyond twisted! McCain voted against Tax cuts because WE COULD NOT AFFORD THEM! Hello, do you spend money you don’t have? You must, like the rest of America, spend spend spend…and let the generations to come pay for our selfishness in government.

Me: Do the Twist. La, la, la. Do the Twist!

You: Yes, he did vote on TARP…and it has been paid back to the government (which I am sure guys with spending like JD have already spent elsewhere).

Me: I walked by a group of Sea Otters and asked them this question: “what will be the downfall of McCain, my little friends?” You know what they said? “Tarp! Tarp! Tarp!” So there you go! Even the little Sea Otters have more political sense than you!

You: McCain is against Amnesty, say it as many times as you like, but everything I have come across does not say amnesty!!!

Me: McCain authored the amnesty bill with Kennedy called Comprehensive Immigration Reform. It’s as plain as the whiskers bristling on your feline face.

You: McCain is AGAINST Obama’s CAP & TAX! Terrorism, well if you were a POW I suppose you would have the right to feel strongly about water boarding, but since you are a pathetic half truth kind of writer, you have no right.

Me: No, my bewhiskered little feline friend, I do have a right. I used to train with the Army and Marine interrogators when I was in Military Intelligence. Also, I suggest you read the book entitled “Courting Distaster…” You’ll change your mind on enhanced interrogation techniques, which aren’t torture, properly so-called.

You: I am sure I have some things even a little beefed down as I do not have the honors of knowing McCain or anyone in that realm of the campaign. What I do know is what I read and what I watch and your articles make me a bit angry as they are so one sided. I suppose after the debates you are going to have to apologize for lies or twisting of the truth statements your boy makes.

Me: Name one lie I’ll have to apologize for. One! You’re a big grumpy kitty, you! No chocolate covered strawberries for you! No “Smurf’s Go to Hollywood” cartoon videos and no Castles and Coasters miniature golfing until you renounce your anger and hatred of my wonderful articles…Dang you! DANG YOU!
