Considering the source, I wonder if their motivation is driven primarily by their anti-war position? Nevertheless, they are correct in assuming McCain’s support is withering and conservatives are seeking someone they can trust to carry the mantle.
Just finished reading a Boston Herald article regarding the battering of battleship McCain upon the granite outcropping of New Hampshire. His numbers are down from 49% among Independent voters a year ago to 29% now.
Not only is he no longer fooling the hometown crowd, but others are catching on to him across the country. New Hampshire is crucial. If he’s dropping like a rock there, all indications are he’ll repeat that scenario elsewhere.
