FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 24, 2010
The Obama administration is attempting to secure confirmation by the U.S. Senate of Ben S. Bernanke to a second term as chairman of the Federal Reserve.
Ben Bernanke must not be confirmed.
Every Federal Reserve nominee must be rejected by the U.S. Senate until we find a person of integrity who will voluntarily open the Federal Reserve books to a voluntary audit.
We do not need a law to audit the Federal Reserve.
As your U.S. Senate Representative for Arizona, I will require a voluntary audit as a condition of my Consent.
