Matt Salmon releases new ad, “Proven Leadership” in CD-5 race

Matt Salmon: “Proven Leadership”
Video highlights Salmon’s unparalleled conservative record, principled leadership in Congress

EAST VALLEY – In the race for Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, only one candidate has an unparalleled track record of supporting conservative values in Congress and putting principles over politics: Former Congressman Matt Salmon.

Former Congressman Salmon has a longstanding conservative record of cutting wasteful spending, balancing budgets and demanding fiscal responsibility. He has been honored by the Citizen’s Against Government Waste as a “Watchdog of the Treasury” and “Taxpayer Hero” for his proven record of fighting to reduce the size and cost of government. By honoring his term limit pledge, and taking on his own party’s leadership when they failed to uphold conservative ideals, his public service record has consistently demonstrated his integrity and principles.

“Matt Salmon has the proven leadership we need in Congress,” said Gary Pierce, Chairman of the Arizona Corporation Commission. “He was instrumental in balancing the federal budget for the first time in a generation and did it without raising taxes or increasing debt. He has been honored time and again for his conservative track record and has an A+ rating from the NRA, and a 100% voting record from Right to Life. We can count on Matt to do what is right in Congress because he’s done it before.”

  2. Oberserve says

If leadership = lobbyist sellout, then yes!

    • A vote for McAdams is a vote for drunken illegals killing citizens in hit & runs accidents!

      • Mesa Constitutional Conservative says

        Racist as always.

You abandon your conservative principles to coddle a lobbyist sellout, just because his opponent didn’t kneel before Lord Pearce.

  3. CD5 Republican Majority says

the line about not having to make campaign promises…i spit my soft drink out.

Salmon is promises only. What the heck did he even do in congress…Aimee’s law? Just go look up his name on thomas or gov track.

The guy did nothing and then gave us Gov Napalitano.

No way in heck am I ever voting for him again.

    • A vote for McAdams is a vote for long lines waiting behind illegals without insurance in the emergency room!

p2012p, you had quite the flurry of comments just before 1:00 am. You felt the need, like a crazy person, to comment something about McAdams, McRino, McAmnesty, or McFlake on every comment already given in the two posts about Salmon and Cardon. Question: is the “Mc” you throw on everything a speech impediment, because it impedes normal people from hearing the point of what you’re saying? Perhaps that’s your plan because you’re not saying much of anything anyway. Just a thought.

  4. Ghost of Friedman says

    p2012p (Talmage Pearce):

You suffer from an absolutist, tribal mentality that leads you to an illogical conclusion regarding politicians and illegal immigration. It goes as such: (1) Ex-Senator Pearce was against illegal immigration; (2) Politician X does not support Ex-Senator Pearce; (3) Therefore, Politician X supports illegal immigration.

I’d suggest Logic 101 as a fun way to discover your fallacy. I think MCC offers it. But you’re probably enrolled in a nice trade school.
