Was the red deficit river a symbol of the red state politics?

Applying the “Bush Precedent” as established by the media and such important political people as Nancy Pelosi, that would be the “Napolitano Deficit” and “6 years of Napolitano Democratic Party Deficit Spending.”
A canyon that deep isn’t carved out in a day and we have at least one poster on this very blog who’s identified himself/herself as a Napolitano supporter, yet agreed that she should have not QUIT the state and should have stayed to FIX the budget mess she left behind.
