The message of Jesus in NW Tucson.

Some of the evangelical churches in NW Tucson have brought the Power Team to town in order to spread the good news of Christ. The first event was held on Wednesday evening to a roaring crowd of young people cheering for Jesus.

The next four nights, from Thursday to Sunday, the Power Team will be at the auditorium of Ironwood Ridge High School on Naranja just west of La Chula (2475 W. Naranja Drive.) Everyone else is welcome to come and see a great performance and hear some awesome testimony. Christians should come and bring a friend. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:00 pm. Lost of free parking in the west side lot. Don’t miss it!

  1. I had to click on the link because I couldn’t believe John Jacobs was still breaking cement blocks on his head! My kids loved The Power Team in the late 80’s thru early 90’s.

If you want your youngsters to see an example of strength and humility, this is a great opportunity. In a time when star status requires profanity, vulgarity, and an absolute abandonment of concern beyond one’s self, it’s good to have an alternative.

  2. Happy Hannukah!

  3. HAHAHAHA! The Power Team??? I didnt know those guys were still around! They used to come to my church ALL the time when I was a kid.

PS- agreed, Happy Hannukah. Remember, Howard Dean accused the GOP of being a group of white Christians…our former chairman (I LOVE HIM), Ken Mehlman is Jewish…as are many of those who worked in the administration.
