Arizona Right to Life PAC Did NOT Endorse Kate Brophy McGee

Last week, a mailer went out from an independent expenditure in support of Kate Brophy McGee. On the mailer, was a list of organizations that endorsed Brophy McGee in her race for Arizona State Senate. One of those endorsements was Arizona Right to Life.

This endorsement was incorrect. Arizona Right to Life did NOT endorse Kate Brophy McGee.

This was brought to my attention because I was once the Executive Director and Director for the Arizona Right to Life.

Given Brophy McGee’s voting record, she has never been endorsed by Arizona Right to Life.

In her Primary race, she is running unopposed as a Republican. She receive the Republican nomination on Tuesday, August 30th. She will run against a rabidly liberal, pro-abortion Democrat, Eric Meyer, in the General Election.

The mailer that was sent out was produced in error. Again, Kate Brophy-McGee was not endorsed by Arizona Right to Life.

The vendor who prepared the mailer, made an error. The vendor also released a letter and apology to Arizona Right to Life stating that mailer was done in error.

Here is that letter:

Arizona Right To Life
Attention Greg Hansen Jr.
4633 N 54th St, Phoenix, AZ 85018

Re: LD 28 Mail piece

Dear Greg:

We would like to offer our sincerest apologies for having listed Az. Right To Life on the LD 28 endorsement piece we did for a client recently.

By way of background, I am pro-life and had the privilege of working for your organization several years ago. I hold your organization in high esteem.

It is always an honor for a candidate to receive the endorsement from Az. Right To Life. However, due to an unfortunate error on my part, your organization was listed for someone who was not on your endorsed list. For that, we sincerely apologize to Arizona Right To Life and to you Greg, for this error.

We wish you the very best this election season. If you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to call me.

Sincerely,

Judy Connell

Governor Mike Huckabee Endorses Christine Jones for East Valley Congressional Seat

Conservative business leader Christine Jones landed a significant endorsement Tuesday evening when the campaign released a video of Governor Mike Huckabee endorsing her campaign for Congress.

The former Arkansas Governor and Republican Presidential candidate produced a personal video message from his office that he made public through the Jones campaign Facebook page on Tuesday evening.

In his message, Governor Huckabee speaks glowingly of his friend Jones and advises voters to beware of Washington elitists who are afraid of Jones because she can’t be bought. “She’s my friend. She’s someone I know, someone I trust and someone I believe that when you send her to Washington, you’ll know, you have someone who’s fighting for you, not someone fighting just to keep the special interest and the status quo alive and well,” Huckabee remarks.

Christine Jones welcomed the endorsement stating, “I am truly honored and humbled to have the support and endorsement of my friend Governor Huckabee. He understands why DC insiders and special interests try to keep out conservative problem solvers like me: I want to fix Washington’s problems, they want to maintain the status quo.”

According to recent polls, Jones is leading in the GOP primary against her three opponents. Voters are currently casting early ballots as Primary Election day approaches on August 30th.

East Valley Faith Leaders Endorse Christine Jones

Christine Jones for Congress

(Gilbert, AZ) – Today, East Valley Pastors Tom Shrader, Gary Kinnaman, and Kevin Hartke all endorsed Christine Jones in her bid for Congress. Jones, a technology and business leader, has attended church in Chandler for nearly 20 years and has been an active and supporting member of the faith community in Arizona.

Tom Shrader, founding pastor at Redemption Church, said of his endorsement, “Christine is a proven, innovative business leader. Now she is ready to bring that visionary approach to public service. She will be a breath of fresh air in the stale world of Washington politics.”

Reverend Dr. Gary D. Kinnaman, former Senior Pastor at Word of Grace Church in Mesa, and now Pastor-at-large around the community, stated, “I’m pleased to support my friend Christine Jones for Congress. She is highly competent, unwaveringly honorable, and cares deeply about our state and its people. Ms. Jones has a wide range of experience in business, law, and non-profit leadership. She is active in her local church, too. Can you possibly ask for more in a candidate?”

Kevin Hartke, Senior Pastor at Trinity Christian Fellowship, said of his support for Jones, “Christine Jones has deep ties to our community and she understands our needs and frustrations. I know she will represent the district, the East Valley and Arizona well. I’m endorsing Christine because she brings a set of fresh eyes to problems that are not being solved or resolved.”

Jones, commenting on the endorsements said, “I am humbled to be supported by these great men. I admire each of them and their contributions to the East Valley. They have given their hearts and talents as forces for faith and goodness in our community. With their support, I hope to continue to build momentum throughout the coming weeks. This campaign is about bringing a business leader and outsider to represent CD-05 in Congress.”

Wendy Rogers Responds to Gov Brewer Endorsement of Paul Babeu

Wendy Rogers

(Flagstaff, AZ) – The following statement was issued by Col Wendy Rogers regarding former Governor Jan Brewer’s endorsement of Paul Babeu in the race for Arizona’s First Congressional District:

“I guess Jan Brewer hasn’t seen the naked photos Paul posted of himself to a website trafficking in gay pornography, or perhaps she hasn’t read that Paul is under investigation by the FBI, or that he tried to deport his Mexican boyfriend when their relationship soured. I guess Jan doesn’t have access to any news whatsoever, because Paul Babeu is probably the least qualified person to ever run for this congressional seat.”

Another Babeu Sister Endorses Colonel Wendy Rogers For Congress

(Flagstaff, AZ) – Today, Veronica Babeu Keating joined her sister, Lucy Babeu, to endorse Lt Col (ret) Wendy Rogers, in the race for the Republican nomination in Arizona’s First Congressional District. Veronica Babeu Keating and Colonel Rogers released the following statements regarding Veronica’s endorsement:

Veronica Babeu Keating’s Statement on Endorsing Lt Col Wendy Rogers:

“Getting involved in a political campaign was not something I ever saw myself doing,” said Veronica Babeu Keating. “Especially one involving my brother Paul. However, the stakes are too high. I just had to take a stand to do the right thing,” she continued.

“I admire my sister Lucy for coming forward to speak out against our brother – – to finally stand up to him. Paul thinks only of himself and his political career at the expense of others. He does not care about the people whom elected officials are called to serve. As his siblings, Lucy and I know firsthand how unfit he is to serve. The people of Arizona must know, too.

“Arizona deserves and must demand the best from its leaders. That is why I am very proud to join my sister in endorsing Colonel Wendy Rogers to be the next congresswoman to represent Arizona’s First Congressional District,” Veronica Babeu Keating concluded.

Lt Col Wendy Rogers’ Statement Upon Receiving the Endorsement:

“I am honored to have the endorsements of Veronica Babeu Keating and Lucy Babeu. Arizonans across the district continue to unite behind our campaign because they want their candidate to take the fight to the Democrat nominee in November and actually win.”

Lucy Babeu Endorses Colonel Wendy Rogers for Congress

(Flagstaff, AZ) – Thursday, Lucy Babeu, sister of congressional candidate Paul Babeu, announced her endorsement of his opponent in the race, Lt Col (ret) Wendy Rogers.  Lucy Babeu and Lt Col Rogers released the following statements regarding the endorsement:

Lucy Babeu’s Statement on Endorsing Lt Col Wendy Rogers:

“I have always believed there are three things which should be held dear and above all else – God, country, family – in that order,” said Lucy Babeu. “Unfortunately, my brother, Paul Babeu, has not lived up to honoring those same principles,” she continued. “The decisions my brother, Paul, has made throughout his life are not the makings of someone who represents the values of our congressional district, our state, or our country – and I cannot sit idly by in good faith.”

“It is not an easy thing to go against family, but it is the right thing to do, because I must put the good of our country first. In this campaign, I firmly believe that the right choice for Arizona and our country is Colonel Wendy Rogers. Colonel Rogers is a person of immense character, who has served our country honorably as a career officer in our Armed Forces, and will do so in Washington, D.C. as our representative of Arizona’s 1st Congressional District,” Babeu concluded.

Lt Col Wendy Rogers’ Statement Upon Receiving the Endorsement:

“I welcome the endorsement of Lucy Babeu. We are a campaign built upon a broad base of voters from all walks of life who have one goal in mind – to strengthen our nation and serve the people of Arizona.”

ENDORSEMENTS FOR THE 2014 GENERAL ELECTION

ALL PARTISAN OFFICES – VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN

I don’t care if there’s an unopposed Democrat running who’s your brother-in-law, DON’T VOTE FOR ANY OF THEM.

Not because all the Republicans are wonderful, they aren’t A few are even dingbats. But life is a matter of “compared to what” and the system works better when the party that needs reform is helped along.

Democrats need reform more desperately than Republicans. Republicans have primaries and allow their peasantry a voice. Democrats now are ruled by a small elite that is loyal to the special interest groups they comprise. Union leadership is now more involved in backing up the LGBTs over same sex restrooms than they are about taking care of their members. Teacher’s unions are more interested in backstopping the big corporations pimping Common Core and the massive test revenues they will get than they are about taking care of classroom teachers or, God forbid, the kids themselves.

Radio host Hugh Hewitt said it best. Democrats need to be punished for the cowardice they have displayed in failing to challenge Obama, Pelosi and Harry Reid for their incompetence and dumb ideas.

Make them pay for it. The humiliation of a big defeat might finally get them to change some of their elitist ways.

BALLOT PROPS – STATEWIDE

122 – YES It drives the left nuts to consider something the Founders would find elementary.

303 – YES Only someone with the soul of a petty bureaucrat and a sick control freak would deny a terminal patient a shot at an experimental drug.

BALLOT PROPS – LOCAL

415 -YES We have the same obligation to discarded and sick pets that we have to discarded and sick children. Only anarcho-capitalists can vote no on this without hypocrisy. WAIT! Anarcho-capitalists don’t believe in voting. Conservatives and limited government conservatives should join me in voting YES for something that will save thousands of dogs, cats and assorted other critters. DO THE MATH YOU WHINING MAROONS WITH PIG MASKS. $22 million over 15 years for over a million people is chump change.

Get a life.
