Please join us for a Seminar on Child Sex Trafficking

INVITES YOU TO ATTEND

Seminar on Child Sex Trafficking

Join Bill Montgomery, Maricopa D.A. and Starbright Foundation Directors Lori Regnier and
Michael Chalberg, in a discussion of what legislators and law enforcement is doing to crack
down on child sex trafficking; and what you as a community can do in the prevention, intercession
and recovery for these young victims of these crimes who cannot speak for themselves.

Bill Montgomery was elected Maricopa County Attorney in 2010 on a pledge to fight crime,
honor victims’ rights, and protect and strengthen our community. Recognizing that violent
child sexual predators cannot be rehabilitated, Bill has been an outspoken advocate for life
sentences for these offenders. He also supports GPS monitoring for other convicted child
molesters, and Internet sting operations to capture child predators before they get the chance
to victimize our children. His goal is to let would-be child predators know they will find no
safe haven in Arizona.

Lori Regnier is a volunteer for Shepherds Care Ministries where she helps survivors of
sexual abuse. Lori has 2 years of experience in security/protection. Also, as the President of
Child Enrichment Programs, Inc., Lori strived to help underprivileged youth in our valley
and their families in need. She has expanded her interest in the wellbeing of children to the
Starbright Foundation where she pledges to be a positive role model and will assist in
rescuing endangered children from abusive situations. Recently in 2011, Lori was chosen as
one of Arizona’s “Top 30 Women of Courage” for making a positive change in the lives of
children and families in Arizona.

Michael E. Chalberg is pastor and cofounder of Shepherds Care Ministries and has served in
Christian ministries for the last 30 years. These last 17 years in Pastoral Counseling have
revealed the need for a more focused ministry to help the children trapped in ongoing sexual
abuse through human trafficking across our nation. He founded Starbright Foundation with
fellow volunteers to fight against this rising problem. He hopes to increase public awareness
of child sexual abuse and trafficking through education to generate community involvement
in the prevention of this growing social problem.

Arizona’s gun laws have changed dramatically in the last few legislative sessions. Do you know what happened to our self-defense laws? What’s it like to carry a firearm with no permit and no training required? And what about the politics — is Obama really going to outlaw guns, confiscate your property, tax ammunition to death, get the U.N. to dictate our laws? You’ve never owned or even fired a gun? How dangerous is that — being that defenseless?

Come join one of the nation’s leading experts on gun laws and gun policy, our own local resource, Alan Korwin, author of nine books on the subject and a frequent guest on radio and TV nationwide. He’ll answer  your questions, engage you with the facts, and crack you up with his quick wit. In a dire emergency, what’s the best gun? The one you have. Don’t miss this exciting evening. Bring 10 rounds of ammo for VIP seating.

Alan Korwin, author of five books and co-author of eight others, is a full-time freelance writer, consultant and entrepreneur with a twenty-five-year track record. He is a founder and two-term past president of the Arizona Book Publishing Association, which has presented him with its Visionary Leadership award, named in his honor, the Korwin Award. He has received national awards for his publicity work as a member of the Society for Technical Communication, and is a past board member of the Arizona chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He is active with the speaker’s bureau for the non-profit, Wash., D.C.-based news-media watchdog, Accuracy In Media.

Alan Korwin turned his first book, The Arizona Gun Owner’s Guide, into a self-published best-seller, now in its 24th edition. With his wife Cheryl he operates Bloomfield Press, which has grown into the largest producer and distributor of gun-law books in the country. It is built around nine books he has completed on the subject, including the unabridged federal guide Gun Laws of America, and a rapidly growing line of related books and DVDs.

Mexican-American “Raza” Expert Panel Discussion Open to the Public: Event will be Streaming LIVE!

FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE

A Panel Discussion: The Mexican-American “Raza” Controversial Ethnic Studies Program in the Tucson Unified School District

Phoenix, AZ – On Saturday, September 10, 2011, Arizona Mainstream Project (AMP) will bring to the public a panel discussion on the controversial Mexican-American or “Raza” ethnic studies program being taught in the Tucson United School District (TUSD). Speaking on this panel will be Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne, Andy LaFevre (Public Relations Director for AZ State Superintendent John Huppenthal), Loretta Hunnicutt (founder TU4SD), John Ward (former ethnic studies teacher), Lisa Ruth (educator/activist), Rey Torres (President of Arizona Latino Republican Association), and Gabriela Saucedo Mercer (activist/CD 7 candidate). KFYI Talk Host Terry Gilberg will be moderating this panel discussion.

The panel will not only discuss events leading up to Superintendent John Huppenthal’s recent report that found TUSD in violation of A.R.S. 15-112, but will also discuss the real objectives of this controversial curriculum taught in the Tucson Unified School District; these include the overthrow of our government, ethnic resentment, and the redefining of “la familia.” The TUSD Mexican-American Ethnic Studies program is widely seen as a “militant” model to be spread throughout the country.

Each panel member will share their personal experience and direct involvement with uncovering the facts of this issue and how it has negatively impacted the Tucson community and how it affects all of America. You will gain an understanding of its history, the current legal battles, and needed citizen activism to stop this anti-American agenda.

This event will be held at the Phoenix Airport Marriott Hotel located at 1101 North 44th Street in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2 pm- 5 pm, MST.  Cost to attend is $15.00 per person.
