Senate Vote on Destructive Embryonic Experimentation

Today, the U.S. Senate voted to force taxpayers to foot the bill for destructive embryonic experimentation. The vote was 63 IN FAVOR, 34 OPPOSED and 3 not voting.

Arizona’s senior Senator, John McCain voted FOR taxpayer-funded destructive embryonic experimentation while Senator Jon Kyl voted AGAINST this terrible policy.

President Bush will veto the bill and the President’s life affirming policy will remain in effect because the Senate does not have the numbers to override the veto.

What still remains disheartening is how invested the mainstream media is in passage of this legislation despite weekly accounts that ESCR does not work and adult stem cell research continues to make progress.

Its our tax dollars that the US Congress is misallocating toward proven failure, while an ethical constructive cure remains in our grasp.

Hmmm well that ought to give Romney an issue…

What a guy! McCain is as duplicitous as they come. He has nearly perfected the art of speaking, simultaneously, out of both sides of his mouth.

It won’t be his support of the troop surge that does him in. It will be his duplicity!
