Top Conservative in AZ Senate endorses Douglas for Superintendent
Phoenix, AZ: State Senator Judy Burges has endorsed Diane Douglas for Superintendent of Public Instruction in Arizona.
Senator Burges stated, “The responsibility to educate our children is too important to hand over to the federal government. Diane Douglas is the only candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction who realizes that Common Core will weaken our public schools and that Common Core must be stopped in Arizona.”
Diane Douglas responded, “Senator Burges has been a fearless conservative leader in Arizona and we are excited to have her officially support our campaign. With her support and many concerned citizens, we will end Common Core in Arizona and replace it with high standards that work for our state.”
Diane Douglas is a candidate in the Republican Primary for Superintendent of Public Instruction. She served on the Governing Board of Peoria Unified School District from 2005 to 2012, and was president of the board in 2008 and 2009. For more information, visit www.DianeDouglas.com.
