Pima Community College Pulls Cord on Health Care Event

This just in from the Jesse Kelly campaign:

Dear Patriots,

On Tuesday, Pima Community College decided to withdraw the use of their facility for our Health Care Debate for what they cited as concerns over “possible violence”.

In order to ensure that the people are heard on this important issue, our campaign was able to secure a new location a few hours later.

The new location for the scheduled debate challenge is the Inn Suites Hotel at 475 N. Granada Ave. in Tucson, AZ on Tuesday, August 18th from 7:00pm till 9:00pm. The date and times of the event remain the same, only the location has been changed. This event will remain free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.

We look forward to seeing you all there for a transparent, open, and respectful debate on the future of health care reform in America.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Sincerely,

Jesse Kelly – Candidate
Arizona’s 8th Congressional District

  1. What a pathetic display by PCC! Got get em Jesse! We’re all behind you!

  2. Jesse, please capitalize Constitution on your website, don’t post a photo of you looking 25 inches taller than your family, and don’t pretend the 2nd Amendment is “about more than hunting.” No one bears arms just because they want to hunt. They do if for defense.

You should be able to find out exactly who killed your event at PCC. Find out if they got advice from law enforcement. Find out if any of the elected board members were involved in the decision, if they made a decision in an open meeting or had a quorum to do so, and request all the emails and phone logs regarding the cancellation. Find out if the school’s insurer and risk management officers were involved.

Otherwise, they should start cancelling classes and football games because they can cause violence as well.
