January 25, 2008 (CNN) — If Hillary Clinton and John McCain become their party’s presidential nominees, the general election race is likely to be a love-fest.

At least according to Bill Clinton. “She and John McCain are very close,” Clinton said. “. . . because they like and respect each other.”

McCain yesterday faced fire from several of its rivals for winning the backing of the New York Times — a longtime archenemy of conservatives.

Romney is the only candidate that can derail the Forked Tongue Express! If you think that a McCain-Clinton choice is no choice, it is time to get on board with Romney.

Where do these poll numbers come from? Have they got their Rolodex’s stuck on the Sun City and Green Valley sections?

I’d really like to see either updated Rasmussen or Mason-Dixon results.

  3. Massachusetts, the home of Ted Kennedy, loves Romney because he is one one of their own…..a LIBERAL. He has only recently changed his stand on important issues when he decided to run.
John McCain is the ONLY Republican who can beat Hillary Clinton. Let’s hope he is on the ballot in November. Otherwise, get used to hearing “President Clinton” again. The thought of that sends chills down my spine.
