Monday: Coalition for a Conservative Majority meeting

Don Irvine
Don Irvine, chairman of Accuracy in Media, will be speaking to the Coalition for a Conservative Majority Phoenix chapter Monday night. His blog is here.

As its name indicates, Accuracy in Media (AIM) exposes misinformation in the media. “Accuracy In Media is a non-profit, grassroots citizens watchdog of the news media that critiques botched and bungled news stories and sets the record straight on important issues that have received slanted coverage.”

One of the primary goals of Coalition for a Conservative Majority is to counteract the left wing spin in the mainstream media, and Irvine will give the group some tips on how to accomplish that.

Those running for office this year or working on other election matters are encouraged to attend and network to find help with their campaigns. CCM is a grassroots organization and its members are interested in helping with local conservative causes, ranging from fiscal issues to gun rights to prolife causes and more. It was started by former House Minority Whip Tom DeLay and is now led by Ken Blackwell (who we hope runs for President some day).

The meeting will be held at 7pm at the AZ American-Italian club, located at 7509 N. 12th St. in Phoenix. Free refreshments. If you are interested in joining, membership dues are $52. You won’t want to miss this, Irvine has a lot of inside information you won’t get anywhere else. If you’ve been thinking about attending one of CCM’s meetings, this is the one to check out due to the unique speaker and the timing right before the general election.
