Matthew Speaks

Actually, it was Jesus who delivered this warning.

And now a message from our Department of Eschatology, Biblical Studies and Prophecy:

From the Book of Matthew, Chapter 24:

4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8: All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

  1. Veritas Vincit says

    Amen. His will be done.

  2. While Republicans look to score points with a dying base, we now have a Democratic Party that accommodates diverse viewpoints. For the first time in many years, we have a party that will represent the views of the majority, and not be captured by the fringes on either side of the aisle.

  3. Conservative does not mean Republican says

    wiseman,

Is a government take over of industry representative of the majority?

Is a meet-n-greet with Hugo Chavez and accepting socialist literature representative of the majority?

Is escalating the national deficit more than any other administration in history representative of the majority?

Are bailouts of the banking industry representative of the majority?

Each and everyone of these is representative of the fringe elements of the Democrat party. The move-on.orgs, the code pinks, the eco-extremists, etc. have fueled the recent success of Democrats and Obama’s victory. They are absolutely conforming to the will of the fringe elements.

  4. So….

The wars and the swine flu and the perception among a small number of people (mostly among the very conservative, from what I’ve gathered) have a Christ complex with Obama, all these things are the first steps toward the end times? Judgment Day and Armageddon and the Rapture and all that?

not-so-wiseman… actually, its two words not one, but maybe you missed that in school.

To the point, you assert; “… a party that will represent the views of the majority, and not be captured by the fringes”

I have a simple question, where?

Have you noticed that poll rating figures are AWOL in the MSM lately? Take a moment.

Obama and the Democrats ran on a centrist position, however since the election he and Pelosi el al have run with an agenda that is hard to the left.

Its not being unnoticed. Its only being ignored by the MSM just like his flyover stunt.

Willis? I think you have the wrong group who view the Obamanation with an eye towards messiah … just listen to the hosannas from his fan clubs.

  6. From Mark 16:16-18
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
     And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Just curios – would “Sonoran Alliance” pass these tests? If not, perhaps “Sonoran Alliance” is part of the great deceit.
