CHANDLER, AZ (Wednesday, November 13, 2013) — Martin Sepulveda, candidate for Arizona State Treasurer, today announced the endorsement of Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny. Sepulveda’s goals as the state’s Chief Financial Officer are to prudently manage and protect the state’s investments and monies, advise Arizona’s elected officials on how to accurately manage over $13 billion dollars in funds and continue to create a business-friendly environment expanding Arizona’s future economic base.
“During our time together on the City Council, Martin was an integral part of ensuring we balanced our budget, had cash reserves and provided outstanding service to the residents of Chandler. Martin’s experience in the public and private sector make him the clear choice. I urge the voters of Arizona voters to join me in supporting Martin Sepulveda in his bid for State Treasurer,” said Mayor Jay Tibshraeny.
As the next Arizona State Treasurer, Sepulveda’s main priority for the office will be to manage and protect the state’s taxpayer investments and monies.

As State Treasurer, I will work tirelessly to protect the taxpayers’ money and promote sound and solid investments to sustain the economic recovery Arizonans are beginning to realize today,” said Sepulveda.
