McCain McCalling.

Multiple NW Tucson Republican PCs got a call this weekend with one simple question. Will you support Senator McCain for President, yes or no? The questioner did not go much into detail after the callers answered the survey. One person wondered what it says about the campaign that they need to call PCs and ask them if they will support the apparent nominee. It is not exactly clear how the information from the poll will be used. Anyone in other LDs getting called about McCain?

  1. Rumor has it that Romney is considering jumping back in. Maybe it was his people checking to see if there is still support for him.

  2. I’m bewildered that this type of question is even being asked by the McCain camp of his own people. Any mention of Romney re-entering is also amazing. Huckabee still remains in the race although the delegates are already locked up. Maybe the bigger question is. “Do Romney and Huckabee know something that the rest of us don’t know?” We are still months away from the convention and a lot can happen between now and then…

Mari…. No , I know the person who called. The purpose was to simply gauge support for the presumptive nominee, because of the fringes of our party who stated they would rather see the RATs take the presidency than vote for a “less than perfect” candidate.

  4. The fringe? I did not know Ann Coulter lived in NW Tucson. Last I heard the Republicans in the district were working together pretty well. If McCain cannot count on this side of town he is in real trouble.

  5. They were checking to see who was going to vote for Clinton or Obama so they could put them to work for Pete Hershberger!

  6. Just Win Baby says

LOL John! That answer actually makes sense.

  7. “Less than perfect”?
    How about unacceptable?

Liberals are comfortable with candidates who talk out of both sides of their mouths.

    I’m not.
