Judge Revises Order

Did anyone happen to read this small article in the Arizona Republic regarding a reversal of a minute entry by Judge Timothy Ryan?

Apparently, Judge Ryan decided to remove a derrogatory statement from the minutes in his description of a deputy county attorney who was not able to make a court hearing. Labeling the attorney as demonstrating “gross, wanton misconduct,” Judge Ryan was then confronted by County Attorney Andrew Thomas. Ryan, who has been under fire from Thomas for demonstrating bias on certain rulings, must have realized he was making Thomas’ case. The judge then blinked and decided to back down.

But you won’t read this on the front page or the ongoing series of Thomas vs. Ryan.
