I’m a big Dave Ramsey fan so when I saw the trailer for this upcoming movie, I.O.U.S.A.,  I got excited enough to throw it up on Sonoran Alliance. I’m looking forward to seeing this and I hope every candidate for office will do the same. God help us.

The movie opens tomorrow, August 22nd.

    Shane,
Sad truth is BUSH, our elected Republicans, and neo-cons (aka moderates) in general, are to blame for a lot of this. BUSH spent more than all Presidents combined up to Reagan. The moderates and liberals are the death of us all because they favor big government. Their answer will be to raise taxes even higher to pay for all their big government…we already see them opposing every single tax cut offered. I believe we should CUT SPENDING, pay down our debt, and cut taxes to spur growth. We also need to eliminate regulation, and reduce the size of agencies and even eliminate a couple. Not to mention, the CRX of weathering the impending financial Cat 5 hurricane will be to CUT entitlement spending no matter how much the blue-hairs cry. It’s necessary for the good of the country. If they can’t understand that, then they’re traitors and they hate their grandchildren.

I recently mentioned a Fairfax County VA Republican Committee meeting. I heard reports that the size of the committee had been shrinking over the years. I suspect this has to do with moderates taking over the R party. AFAIC, this is more proof to me that conservatives need to wage all out, no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners WAR against moderates and RINOs in our party. They put our party to sleep and drive out conservatives, whereas when TRUE small government conservatives rule, they invigorate the party and increase participation. How and why? Because when moderates are in control, conservatives go home. When conservatives rule, moderates tag along and we even pull independents and Dems. In the end, if we don’t, the Republicans will be every bit to blame for the creation of the big government responsible for this nasty financial storm will will face in a matter of a few short years. We’e already guilty for a major part of the financial negativity as is.

  2. Antifederalist,

I hear you loud and clear. Although Bush has been great on social issues like the sanctity of life and appointing conservative judges, he has not held the line on liberal-moderate RINO’s and Democrats spending us into oblivion. I dread where this country is going financially. We are all going to have to change our behavior and start living within our means. I hate to admit it but I see tough times ahead and we will all have to pay.
