Governor’s race heats up.

Attack.jpg     Len Munsil went on the attack with a mailer proclaiming that Goldwater is “the wrong man for the job.” If I read it correctly Don is a napkin arranger who disagrees with the president about illegal immigration, is now pro-life, and was ahead in the most recent poll because he has awesome name ID. Devastating.

I have been very disappointed in the lack of public polling in this race. Len’s piece tells me it is still a tight race.

Don Goldwater was probably glad to just get his name out there after leaning that his clean election check might be delayed for another week or two. Ouch.

On the other hand Don is probably ordering flowers for Robert Robb right now. Robb termed Don’s agenda “the most comprehensive and specific … thus far.”

On a side note, Huffman is featured again with his trusty flashlight. Scroll to the bottom of the article for the photo caption “Huffman posing with a flashlight.”

Was it Ronald Reagan or my mom that said….”If you don’t have anything good to say about someone, don’t say anything.”

This mailing gives me no reason to support Len…I might as well flip a coin, heads Goldwater, tails Harris. the coin stands on it’s side upper or coin staysin the air going no where, Munsil.

  2. Casual Observer says

I thought that the point of the pro-life movement was to educate and “turn” pro-abortion candiate into pro-life. If Goldwater has changed that a good thing. To attack him for making the right decision on life is wrong. We need to create an environment that supports new to the cause. Len was fighting to change politians mind about being pro-choice. Goldwater changed and now Len throws it in his face. Shame on Len.

I heartily welcome Don to the Culture of Life. We should forgive past views and celebrate each person’s conversion on this important issue.

That being said we still hold the value of a life resulting from a rape equal to other human life and pray that all public officials will come to share that view.

The real shame is that Len has always maintained a public persona as a person of integrity. Allowing his name to go out on this brings him down to the level of just another ambitious politician, willing to say or do anything to win. Calling Don Goldwater “Janet Napolitano’s Special Events Coordinator” because he was a state employee and the Director of Special Events is disingenuous to the point of being outright dishonest. Unless every employee of the State Treasurer’s office is “Janet Napolitano’s Accountant?!”

Oh yes, he also was appointed to the position by Republican Jane Hull, not Napolitano…

I understand that talk radio has really been hammering Len for this hit piece. If so, he deserves it… Time to refocus on Napolitano!

Good points. I am not sure Nathan has taken this campaign in the right direction. In the end he a creature of those who would pay him.
