  1. These are dangerous precedents, using recalls as an offensive defense. The WIsconsin legislators literally went AWOL, hiding from the governor and the People. That was the sort of action that does rise to letting the People vote earlier than the normal election cycle to determine if they believe that the elected offical failed this or her sworn duties. It was reported onthe internet this week that despite the first out of the gate recall petitions against a few of the Democrats who fled the state, the counter-petitions to recall Republicans who were on the job doing what the voters voted them in for, have been approved to go forward. How convenient.

But THIS stuff here is cynical, abusve manipulation of the system as a political attack strategy, designed to drain funds, occupy the office holder with a form of harrassment. The long term effects are vey dangerous – eroding citizen support for the NORMAL elective processes, and the sefl-retraint of citizens to allow normal terms to expire or adhering to the social contract of restraint and patience to work through the regular, scheduled voting structure.

The Dmeocrats spent 8 years tearing at President Bush, advertizing every complaint as an excuse to haul him out of office before his mandated term. They have encouraged Democrats to abandon Constitutional strucures in favor of arbitrary actions, which leads to anarchy. This teaching is corrosive and leads to tyrannical rule.

It’s not about any popular support, because if a recall vote is achieved and the constituents reject the recall, the very same people pushing this will whinge and wail “cheat” or that the People were too stupid to KNOW better. It’s not about recalling for legitimate reasons, it’s about POWER.

      AZ CONSTITUTION?

Article 8 Part 1 Section 1 – Officers subject to recall; petitioners

      1. Officers subject to recall; petitioners

Section 1. Every public officer in the state of Arizona, holding an elective office, either by election or appointment, is subject to recall from such office by the qualified electors of the electoral district from which candidates are elected to such office. Such electoral district may include the whole state. Such number of said electors as shall equal twenty-five per centum of the number of votes cast at the last preceding general election for all of the candidates for the office held by such officer, may by petition, which shall be known as a recall petition, demand his recall.

  2. Leave it to the libturds to attempt a recall of Russell Pearce, a patriot whose only crime is to oppose and try to halt illegal immigration. I’m sure this effort is being undertaken by La Raza, the Brown Shirts, and other idiots who support the Messican invasion.

  3. AZBROKER says

Another move by the Libtards, Progressives, Dombocrats and other disgruntled groups, like La Raza, MALDEF, etc. to stop Pearce from doing what his Districts electors/constituents elected him to do and that is STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FROM GETTING INTO THE USA AND AZ. These malcontents need to get a life and a real jobs. GO SENATOR PEARCE!!!

  5. michael moloney says

Instead of waisting time on discouraging immigrants that are coming here to work why not spend your time on defeating attorneys that run for office .Electing attorney is the major impediment to getting this country back on the road to recovery.solving medical costs{doctors can not make a decision because of a fear of being sued, drug costs are high because of class action suits etc,we have no legal worker program because the way it is produces legal fees.Examine all areas attorneys use to create fees with out any competition and you see why we are in a mess.Example with a legal worker program workers would pay tax and social security tax(we manage social security and we used to manage the draft we could manage a workers program}.Pierce is not someone who demonstrates the best of America he represents the worst in politions .Mike moloney

  12. Oberserve says

Russell Pearce ensured that the tax and spend Arizona Commerce Authority went through in the falsely named “Jobs Bill”.

Regardless of whether you support or oppose the recall effort, Pearce is no true conservative.
