Expecting? In this case they will be.

I wrote a story with a photo that may have offended a few readers. I do apologize. I am posting this photo to leave our readers with a more positive image of human sexuality.

Jan van Eyck, The Marriage of Giovanni Arnolfini and Giovanna Cenami, 1434; National Gallery, London.

  1. So it looks like tha marriage is being held about 7 months after the bride became pregnant (or just a couple months, in Munsil’s case.)

Odd that you should use *that* famous painting, which I have always admired for its technical achievement. A tour-de-force.

But again, an odd choice. It seems to undermine your presumed political position that birthin’babies should be held within the confines and time-constraints of state-sponsored marriage.
