- Event began at 6pm at K O’Donnell’s in Scottsdale (patio area reserved for Breitbart Meetup)
- At roughly 6:45/7pm meetup began with AWR Hawkins speaking about the purpose of the group & 2nd amendment issues for about 10 minutes
- Mic was handed over to Brandon Darby of Breitbart TX who began speaking about immigration issues and connections between Mexican & US gangs smuggling meth across border for about 5-7 minutes
- While Darby was speaking and about to start Q & A, his mic was cut & tv volumes were simultaneously kicked on with the METS/CUBS game sound playing.
- ALLEGEDLY less than a handful of people complained about topics discussed at our Meetup to Management, & management allegedly told a Breitbart Rep that “You want to exercise your 2nd Amendment Right? Well I’m authorizing our 1st Amendment right and shutting this down.”
- Roughly 15 minutes later (730-7:45-ish) I noticed SDP on the scene, went outside and saw 4 SPD vehicles then a SPD helicopter was flying overhead with spotlight on our location and instructing attendees to ‘please disperse. head to your vehicles’.
- Word is that co-owner Jennifer O’Donnell came out to let us know we are not welcome & then kicked shut it down/kicked us out. Others say it was ‘management’, could not confirm who ultimately made the call
Although we cannot confirm at this point whether it was the owner or management who shut us down, it was crystal clear that the ownership affirmed the decision and doesn’t want to serve conservatives. We’re more than happy to oblige.
Breitbart reps confirmed that there will be another meeting announced and will update people via the Meetup page.

PICS OF THE EVENT/INCIDENT BELOW:
Recently Gianna Jessen was invited to speak about abortion before the House Judiciary Committee because her testimony is vital to the entire abortion debate swirling around our country presently. “If abortion is about women’s rights, then what were mine?” Her pointed question cannot be answered, only avoided.
We are so excited to bring Gianna here to Phoenix on October 17th to encourage and inspire.More than just revealing her own incredible personal testimony, Gianna speaks to the heart and marrow of the abortion issue, exploring the topic with conviction and courage to a degree that no one else can.
Please join us at our Fall fundraising evening. We need your help more than ever to reach hearts and minds on college campuses and within the church. I look forward to seeing you on the 17th. Additionally, if you purchase a general admission ticket you will get a free copy of Trent Horn’s book Persuasive Pro-Life.

Say NO to Tempe Union High School Override (TUHSD)
All are invited to join us on Tuesday, 10-13-15 at 2 PM at the TUHSD office at 500 W. Guadalupe Tempe 85283 (NW corner of Guadalupe and Kyrene)
Let’s let the TUHSD Superintendent and Governing Board know they cannot fool us anymore. Other districts will be taking notice as these override elections are occurring in many districts.
VOTE NO: Why does TUHSD need 28,000 devices “for the students” if the student population is 13,600?
VOTE NO: This is a permanent tax increase as overhead, staff, and increased bandwidth have not been budgeted for.
VOTE NO: There is NO PARENTAL CONTROL over who your student will interact with on-line nor what content your child will download.
VOTE NO: This tax increase WILL NOT lead to more money for teachers but will lead to a decrease in teachers.
Tomorrow morning I’ll be speaking at a rally against Planned Parenthood. Like many of you, I have been sickened by the videos showing a behind the scenes view of the abortion industry.
We’ll start at 10 am across the street from the Planned Parenthood headquarters at 4751 N 15th Street (map) in Phoenix.
Congressman David Schweikert and Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery will also be speaking, along with members of the community and medical professions.
This is a great chance to show the state that our party is the party of life, and an opportunity to gain additional attention from the media to help spread the word about the horrors shown on the videos. In addition to the Phoenix event, there are five other demonstrations throughout the state:
Planned Parenthood, 610 N Alma School Road (map) 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Planned Parenthood, 2500 S Woodlands Village Boulevard (map) 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Planned Parenthood, 5771 W Eugie (map) 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Planned Parenthood, 1250 E Apache Boulevard (map) 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Meet at 2120 N Beverly Avenue (map) 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
I hope to see you Saturday morning!
Chairman, Arizona Republican Party
Tuesday evening, Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson delivered a passionate positive prognosis to Phoenicians and other Arizonans when he appeared at the Phoenix Convention Center. His appearance was originally scheduled to take place at Grace Community Church in Tempe but had to be moved to a larger venue to accommodate overwhelming response. According to estimates, over 12,000 were in attendance.
Dr. Carson proved his astute knowledge of the issues especially immigration, welfare, health care, economics, terrorism and foreign policy.
He encouraged the audience to research the “fiscal gap” which consists of the unfunded liabilities and currently will cost future generations $211 trillion if we don’t get it under control. (Read recent Forbes article.)
Carson reaffirmed his strong conservative populist appeal with the audience by noting his disassociation with the political moneyed establishment.
But Carson also put the liberal political media in its place after they distorted and misreported that he had supported abortion practices earlier in his career – something he vehemently clarified.
At the end of his 58 minute speech, he took questions and answers from the audience including his personal beliefs and faith. The good doctor was not bashful in admitting his love and faith in God. When asked by a young person about his favorite Bible verse, he recited Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Carson also cited the importance of heeding the warnings of our American forefathers, citing Jefferson and our founding documents.
According to a recent poll, Dr. Carson has moved into second place with likely Republican voters. The poll was conducted on August 17th and showed a surge of 6.5% since Republicans were last surveyed on July 29th. (see poll)
Our friends at Western Free Press captured Dr. Carson’s visit on video. Please watch the entire speech below. Please subscribe to their YouTube channel for more great video.

The National Review Online referred to the Halbig case as “Obamacare’s Biggest Legal Threat.” Pruitt will join Mark Brnovich and other leading conservative Arizona elected officials on the House lawn to discuss why he is supporting Mark Brnovich for Attorney General over Mark’s primary opponent, Tom Horne.

New GOP Victory Office Opens in West Phoenix
Ground Game Expanding Rapidly, Activists Flock to Volunteer at West Valley GOP Victory Headquarters
PHOENIX – After opening GOP Victory Offices in Tucson and Casa Grande earlier this year, Arizona Republican Party Chairman Robert Graham announced a third office opening this week on Phoenix’s west side. The address is 10050 W. Bell Rd, Suite 26, in Sun City.
The grand opening celebration will be July 12th from 10am to 1 pm and will feature refreshments and remarks from Chairman Graham. The AZGOP staff will be on hand to answer questions, provide information to precinct committeemen and other volunteers, and help prepare Republicans for victory in November.
“We have a tremendous number of volunteers who are coming in and offering to help in so many ways, and we need more space for them to work when they’re not out in the field,” said Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party. “The more convenient it is for our volunteers and party workers, the more phone calls and door knocking can get done — and that’s the best way for our party to get each and every voter engaged in supporting our Republican candidates.”
In April, Graham held the grand opening of Victory Offices in Pima and Pinal County, and the West Valley GOP Victory Office promises to be an excellent complement to the AZGOP Headquarters located in Central Phoenix.
“I’ve spent the last eighteen months as Chairman building up the resources our Republican party needs to mobilize to win, and this is just another example of success breeding success,” Graham added.
Victory Offices serve the Republican Party’s goals of providing work space for volunteers and party officials, as well as a place for candidates to distribute information. Republican Precinct Committeemen, who are locally elected by voters in precincts throughout the state, are being joined by other volunteers and staff at these offices to implement Graham’s Victory 2014 plan to mobilize voters and encourage support for Republican candidates in the general election in November.
