Christine Jones Release New Campaign Ad, ‘Gaggle’

(Gilbert, AZ) – Today, the Jones for Congress campaign released its latest commercial, “Gaggle,” in the Republican Primary race for CD-5.

The ad features a gaggle of career politicians competing for attention contrasted against successful conservative business leader, Christine Jones. In the ad, Jones asks the gaggle if they have created any jobs or balanced any budgets. They haven’t. She also discloses she hasn’t taken any special interest money. The career politicians clamor that they have. The ad is an accurate portrayal of the CD-5 race.

Jordan Ray, manager for the campaign remarked, “This ad hits the nail on the head when comparing Christine Jones to the current gaggle of career politicians in this race.” Ray continued, “Christine is a true-life success story. She’s helped create thousands of jobs, balanced budgets and helped grow a major technology company. She’s exactly who our congressional district needs.”

Governor Mike Huckabee Endorses Christine Jones for East Valley Congressional Seat

Conservative business leader Christine Jones landed a significant endorsement Tuesday evening when the campaign released a video of Governor Mike Huckabee endorsing her campaign for Congress.

The former Arkansas Governor and Republican Presidential candidate produced a personal video message from his office that he made public through the Jones campaign Facebook page on Tuesday evening.

In his message, Governor Huckabee speaks glowingly of his friend Jones and advises voters to beware of Washington elitists who are afraid of Jones because she can’t be bought. “She’s my friend. She’s someone I know, someone I trust and someone I believe that when you send her to Washington, you’ll know, you have someone who’s fighting for you, not someone fighting just to keep the special interest and the status quo alive and well,” Huckabee remarks.

Christine Jones welcomed the endorsement stating, “I am truly honored and humbled to have the support and endorsement of my friend Governor Huckabee. He understands why DC insiders and special interests try to keep out conservative problem solvers like me: I want to fix Washington’s problems, they want to maintain the status quo.”

According to recent polls, Jones is leading in the GOP primary against her three opponents. Voters are currently casting early ballots as Primary Election day approaches on August 30th.

Was Congressman Matt Salmon’s Staffer Politicking on Taxpayer Time?

Every member of Congress and their staff is constantly reminded – especially during election years – that using official government time and resources for partisan politicking, is strictly forbidden.

It’s a simple rule. Don’t spend your time and don’t use taxpayer-paid computers, phones, etc to engage in election activities. Taxpayers don’t want staff working to elect or defeat while they’re on the taxpayer’s dime.

So why would a member of Congressman Salmon’s staff spend time politicking on official time?

The following screenshots were obtained from Facebook and show Salmon staffer Lee Huff making political posts in support of Salmon’s hand-picked successor, Andy Biggs.

In the first screenshot, we see Lee Huff on Facebook sharing a post to an Andy Biggs political event. The post was made Wednesday, July 27th at 12:28 PM. Lee Huff works for Congressman Matt Salmon, who works for the taxpayers of CD-5.

L Huff 072716The next screenshot shows a post from Thursday, July 28th at 10:14 AM from Gilbert, Arizona. Congressman Salmon’s office is located in the heart of downtown Gilbert. Lee Huff resides in Mesa. The content of the post is an attempt at a negative association of Christine Jones with Barack Obama. It is clearly electioneering at 10:14 in the morning from Gilbert, Arizona.

The final screenshot shows Lee Huff on Facebook posting on Tuesday, August 2nd at 2:29 PM from Gilbert. This time, the post is an effort to drive web traffic to a dark money-sponsored organization’s website that is trying to mislead voters about Christine Jones.

The question I have is who does Lee Huff work for? Is it Congressman Matt Salmon? Is it Matt Salmon’s heir-apparent, Andy Biggs? Or, is it the taxpayers who pay his congressional staffer salary?

Perhaps Lee Huff was off the clock? Maybe using a little vacation time? Maybe he frequents Gilbert coffee shops? I think he has some explaining to do to us watching this election and to his boss, the US taxpayers.

Col Wendy Rogers Releases First Campaign Ad – ‘World On Fire’

Wendy Rogers

(Flagstaff, AZ) – Tuesday, Lt Col (ret) Wendy Rogers released her first campaign ad in the Republican primary for Arizona’s First Congressional District. The ad called “World On Fire” features recent news clips showing America and our allies under attack by radical Islamic terrorists.

In the commercial, Col Rogers pledges to shut down our border, cut off sanctuary cities and stand up for the rule of law. Like the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, Col Rogers is the strongest law and order candidate running in the race. The ad includes a still photo of Col Rogers alongside Donald Trump during a December, 2015 visit.

“Too much is as stake in this election and it’s long past due that the federal government get serious about securing our border and fighting Islamic terrorism,” Rogers said. “No other candidate in this race will fight harder to protect Americans than I,” she added.

East Valley Faith Leaders Endorse Christine Jones

Christine Jones for Congress

(Gilbert, AZ) – Today, East Valley Pastors Tom Shrader, Gary Kinnaman, and Kevin Hartke all endorsed Christine Jones in her bid for Congress. Jones, a technology and business leader, has attended church in Chandler for nearly 20 years and has been an active and supporting member of the faith community in Arizona.

Tom Shrader, founding pastor at Redemption Church, said of his endorsement, “Christine is a proven, innovative business leader. Now she is ready to bring that visionary approach to public service. She will be a breath of fresh air in the stale world of Washington politics.”

Reverend Dr. Gary D. Kinnaman, former Senior Pastor at Word of Grace Church in Mesa, and now Pastor-at-large around the community, stated, “I’m pleased to support my friend Christine Jones for Congress. She is highly competent, unwaveringly honorable, and cares deeply about our state and its people. Ms. Jones has a wide range of experience in business, law, and non-profit leadership. She is active in her local church, too. Can you possibly ask for more in a candidate?”

Kevin Hartke, Senior Pastor at Trinity Christian Fellowship, said of his support for Jones, “Christine Jones has deep ties to our community and she understands our needs and frustrations. I know she will represent the district, the East Valley and Arizona well. I’m endorsing Christine because she brings a set of fresh eyes to problems that are not being solved or resolved.”

Jones, commenting on the endorsements said, “I am humbled to be supported by these great men. I admire each of them and their contributions to the East Valley. They have given their hearts and talents as forces for faith and goodness in our community. With their support, I hope to continue to build momentum throughout the coming weeks. This campaign is about bringing a business leader and outsider to represent CD-05 in Congress.”

Wendy Rogers Responds to Gov Brewer Endorsement of Paul Babeu

Wendy Rogers

(Flagstaff, AZ) – The following statement was issued by Col Wendy Rogers regarding former Governor Jan Brewer’s endorsement of Paul Babeu in the race for Arizona’s First Congressional District:

“I guess Jan Brewer hasn’t seen the naked photos Paul posted of himself to a website trafficking in gay pornography, or perhaps she hasn’t read that Paul is under investigation by the FBI, or that he tried to deport his Mexican boyfriend when their relationship soured. I guess Jan doesn’t have access to any news whatsoever, because Paul Babeu is probably the least qualified person to ever run for this congressional seat.”

Christine Jones Releases New Campaign Ad, ‘Cutout’

Christine Jones released a great new ad over the last few days. This cleverly captures the problem with Washington career politicians. Be sure to subscribe to the campaign’s YouTube channel.

Christine Jones for Congress

(Gilbert, AZ)Tuesday, the Jones for Congress campaign released another campaign commercial in the Republican Primary race for Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District.

The ad, called “Cutout,” shows Christine Jones navigating through a room of cutout career politicians asking important questions voters want answered.

Jordan Ray, manager for the campaign said, “This ad sends a powerful message and image that Christine’s opponents are all career politicians.” He continued, “Christine Jones is the only conservative business leader in this race who has created thousands of jobs. The same cannot be said about her political competitors.”

The commercial also reaffirms Jones’ pledge to secure our borders, protect our families from terrorists and balance our budget.

Has Andy Biggs Become A Globalist?

By East Valley Evan

Andy Biggs supported Ron Paul for President in 2008. His wife, Cindy, even donated to Paul’s campaign in 2008. He identified himself as an anti-establishment conservative but something changed. Andy Biggs was put into leadership and political power changed him. He started to get comfortable with lobbyists and the political establishment. He became cozy with interest groups like the Payday Loan industry and he opposed reforms to the lobbying process, such as bans on gifts to legislator’s.

To see how far Biggs has come, look at the compromises he’s already making in his run for congress.

Biggs supports the Export-Import Bank.

This bank is the pet project of the political elites and those with a globalist agenda. Biggs will tout his opposition to bringing money back to citizens in Arizona from the Feds, but has no problem spending tax dollars on a federal government bank to fund defense contractors, and businesses with large lobbying interests.

I think every conservative in CD-5 should know who Andy Biggs really is.

Here is what Andy Biggs said during the East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance debate when asked by Arizona Capitol Times reporter, Jim Small, if he supports renewal of the ExIM Bank:

The Thin Blue Line Between Gary Kiehne and Paul Babeu

Political analysts see Arizona’s CD-1 primary race tightening with rancher Gary Kiehne quickly closing in on Paul Babeu.

Kiehne has self-funded his current and former campaigns with over $750,000 of his own money. With so much of his personal wealth at stake, Kiehne began attacking Babeu last week.

Early Ballots will hit mailboxes on August 3 with the bulk of the votes taking place before Primary Election Day.

Pundits expect Babeu to fire back with both barrels. Why? Kiehne is highly vulnerable – especially now – because of his 2014 gaffe comparing Arizona law enforcement to Nazi SS agents. Not a winsome remark to have made considering law enforcement personnel are literally being attacked across the country.

If Babeu is to maintain his lead in the race, watch for him to remind voters that Keihne crossed the thin blue line when he showed callous disrespect toward the law enforcement community in 2014.
