100 DAYS OF DEMOCRAT CONTROL, 100 DAYS OF NONSENSE

GOP chief finds Friday the Thirteenth very scary this year

Phoenix, AZ – “After 100 days in power, the Democrats have managed to make the country less secure, raise taxes, and undercut our troops serving in Iraq. And they think this is progress,” said Randy Pullen, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party.

Pullen continued, “At a time when we need a little more Arizona in Washington and a lot less Washington in Arizona, unfortunately we’ve got two new freshmen Democrat congressmen, Harry Mitchell and Gabrielle Giffords, who vote with Nancy Pelosi 98% of the time.  At some point, they’ll start voting for Arizona or the voters won’t be voting for them.”

During their first 100 days the Democrats in Congress have:

Forced through a budget that will raise taxes by $400 billion, resulting in the largest tax increase in American history and costing the average Arizonan more than $2,700 per year in taxes over the next five years.
Passed legislation that imposed an artificial timetable for troop withdrawal in Iraq, taking away decision making from our generals and essentially surrendering to the terrorists.
Loaded the legislation aimed at funding our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan with enough pork to “stun” an elephant. Including:  spinach subsidies, tropical fish subsidies, Capitol Hill tour subsidies, and peanut farmer subsidies.
Allowed Nancy Pelosi to jet over to Syria and have illegal diplomatic meetings with Syrian President Bashar Assad, a known supporter of terrorism, without White House approval or oversight.

“With all the bad legislation and out of control antics by the Democrats, it’s very fitting that their 100 day anniversary has fallen on Friday the Thirteenth,” quipped Pullen.
