Why did Obamacare Pass? Rick Santorum

How quickly we forget the tides and fortunes of past elections.

The year – 2004.  The players notorious RINO Arlen Specter vs. conservative Pat Toomey.

“Conservative” (RINO, in fact) Rick Santorum closed ranks behind Specter, resulting in Specter’s win v. conservative Pat Toomey.

Right after Obama won in 2008, particularly when facing a House becoming more conservative in light of the Teaparty and the fight against Obamacare and with the senate lacking a filibuster proof majority, Specter changes parties from R to D, giving the Dems their filibuster 60 seat majority in the Senate. - Thanks to RINO Rick Santorum.

In 2010, Toomey beat Specter after the damage (and bailouts and Obamacare) was done. -      ******No thanks to RINO Rick.

Only Romney and Paul to appear on Virgina Republican Primary Ballot

Gingrich, Perry, Santorum and Bachman fail to qualify.

The VAGOP requirement is 10,000 validated signatures to make the primary ballot with a minimum of 400 coming from each of its counties.  Out of all of the GOP candidates, only Romney and Paul qualified.

46 national delegates were at stake in Virginia.

Gingrich plans an aggressive write-in campaign, which is against the law in Virginia for primaries, stating that voters should be able to vote for any “top contender”.

Gingrich also failed to make the Missouri primary ballot stating it didn’t matter because the national delegates are allocated via the caucus system.

An Oklahoman’s Descent into National ID Hell

Arizona is not far behind Oklahoma.  the Arizona MVD is working on compliance with the 15th-18th REAL ID benchmarks, a far far cry from being out of the national ID program (sometimes called “REAL ID”, but it goes by many other names as well).   From a Christian patriot’s travails in Oklahoma.

I was shocked when the DMV clerk told me that I must submit to a finger scan.  Who doesn’t associate being fingerprinted with criminality?  I balked but was told no scan-no drivers license.  At the time I had a small child, my own business and countless tasks to accomplish every day that would be very difficult if not impossible to meet without a valid license so I grudgingly complied.  I had no idea that it wasn’t just my fingers that they were scanning.  The old cameras had been replaced with high resolution digital cameras that capture, map and digitize our facial features for use with facial recognition technology.

Arizona:

Drivers license photos compliant with International Civil Aviation Organization biometric data interchange formats?  CHECK

Drivers license require finger scans from applicants?  According to the American Association of Moter Vehicle Administrators, it is under consideration.

I always knew that if it came down to it, I was not going to just roll over and comply.  I have a child and to just give up and leave her with the legacy of government control by cataloging and monitoring people through an international biometric ID is not an option for me.

Once the fight is finally over and the biometric identification plans are fully implemented those who refuse to be enrolled and will not carry a “government issued photo ID”, will essentially be viewed as invalid, non-persons, unregistered.

Furthermore their invalidated status will be a red flag rendering such persons especially suspect by a government that demands its right to know all about everyone at all times.  Where did our government get such a right?  They got it from us.   Our complacence is compliance and as far as they are concerned that gives them permission and therefore the right to scan our body parts and use those measurements as a personal tracking number.

The ones that do comply won’t be much better off really.   Their government issued biometric ID will allow our government to keep tabs on their every transaction, their travel, their habits and more. This biometric identification system puts our ability to access our daily necessities at their pleasure.  Will such an all powerful government choose to be a benevolent father?  History does not give one much hope that it will.

From Revelations 13:

7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9If any man have an ear, let him hear…….

15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,

Seems pretty clear from Revelation, that if you bear the mark, regardless of your self-perception of whether you are a saint or not, you serve the Beast of revelation.  The sure sign is (see P 16 above) that if you do NOT have the mark, you cannot engage in commerce.  If you do, you can.

It’s all right there in black and white.  I am so grateful to my Christian sister in Oklahoma who is showing good patriots and Christians the way to resist the beast.

National ID, Misguided State Legislation, the Clintons and E-Verify: What do they have in Common?

States send children’s school enrollment data to the Feds.  This data has always been protected under FERPA and other privacy laws.

Now the Department of Education is creating new regulations rolling back the privacy of that data – as the federal government always does once they have the data they want – so they can use it for other purposes not agreed to previously by the students, parents, or states.

You Have Until Monday, May 23…to Object to DOE’s Invasion of Student Privacy

The Department of Education (DOE) has proposed regulatory changes that would gut the primary federal student-privacy statute, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA imposes strict limits on how the government may use so-called Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected on students by schools or government education agencies. Under the proposed changes to the regulations issued under FERPA, DOE would enable a system of massive data collection on students – potentially including such things as family income range, hair color, blood type, and health-care history – that could then be shared with other government agencies (both federal and in other states) for unspecified purposes. This disclosure of PII could be accomplished without parents’ consent, and in most cases without even their knowledge.

And because the data-collection and sharing would begin when the student is in preschool and follow him even through his entry into the workforce, the possibilities of breach of privacy and unwarranted use of data are almost limitless.

Follow the student into the workforce.  Here we go, it’s the Clinton “Goals 2000″ program all over again.

From the Eagle Forum’s opposition to this published in 1996

Two other bills, still pending, are designed to advance the School-to-Work phase of Goals 2000. The Careers Act (H.R. 1617) and the Workforce Development Act (S.143) will support a nationwide workforce development system, state by state. Funding is provided for “one stop career” employment agencies under the supervision of the federal government. Please, let’s not let these bills become law.

E-Verify is a front-end user interface sitting ontop of the Clinton’s vision of cradle to grave workforce development, school-to-work initiatives.

The data being released under the new Department of Education regulatory changes goes right into the database sitting behind e-Verify:

The concept of “state longitudinal data systems” (SLDS) is the driving force behind the proposed regulatory changes. In its attempt to further federalize education through Race to the Top and other statutes, DOE wants to construct massive and interconnected data systems that will allow various government agencies – and even private entities, perhaps including employers — to access students’ personal information without the knowledge or consent of the students or their parents. SLDS structures in some states, such as Illinois, already contemplate the sharing of PII for purposes far beyond effective education of children – for example, to create “a network of federal, state, and local offices that . . . facilitate the development of the United States workforce.” Indeed, DOE itself argues that “there is no reason why a State health and human services or labor department, for example, should be precluded from . . . receiving non-consensual disclosures of PII to link education, workforce, health, family services, and other data”

There are even “conservatives” who read and remark on SonoranAlliance about how two wrongs DO make a right.  In other words, since the federal government already has the data “who cares?” – let’s just use it to achieve our momentary agenda and not worry what the Dems do when they get into power and have the database.

Beyond being a ridiculous an liberal point of view conservatives who assert the above hold, where is the constitution in all of this?

A cursory read of the constitution says NOTHING about this data collection, sharing or spending any money to do any of it!

It’s just not in there.

So, the days of “conservatives” asserting unconstitutionalism is coming to a close.  You either believe in the constitution or you don’t.  Saying you believe in it means nothing.  ACTING in support of (or against as many conservatives now do) the constitution means EVERYTHING.

Thank you to a previous SA commenter for this apt quote.  Two wrongs still do not make a right.

‘Sovereign Citizen’ anti-government movement on the rise

Posted on 05.16.11 By Eric W. Dolan

CBS correspondent Byron Pitts reported on a group of Americans calling themselves “sovereign citizens” who don’t pay taxes, carry a driver’s license or hold a Social Security card. There are an estimated 300,000 sovereign citizens in the United States and some in the movement have grown increasingly violent.

“What’s driving people to it is they’re beginning to understand that the government has moved away from fundamental principles that this nation was built on,” sovereign citizen Alfred Adask told 60 Minutes. “Where are the limits in limited government? The sovereignty movement is attempting to rediscover those limits and reassert them.”

Do you believe these Americans are terrorists?

Let’s put it in spiritual context.

What if you refuse
the Mark of the Beast?

If you refuse to get the mark of the beast you will not be allowed to buy anything or to sell anything. You will not get paid for your work. You will not be able to buy food, medicine, water, fuel, clothes or anything at all. You will be cut off from support and most likely you will be killed.

more

Maybe we’re not to the point yet where the government (or others) is going out to murder the mark refusniks, but we’re getting closer with our government now labelling them ‘domestic terrorists’ and our states requiring law abiding citizens to carry papers.

1/3 of the saints shall be mislead.  These are perfected saints who truly believed they were saved but accepted the mark.

The beast comes onshore from offshore.

While AZ may not have RFID yet, we do have a magnetic strip and the (international ICAO) biometrics standards in our photo.

The Agendas Behind the bin Laden News Event

The Agendas Behind the bin Laden News Event

by Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury under President Ronald Reagan and former associate editor of the Wall Street Journal.

Excerpts:

The US government’s bin Laden story was so poorly crafted that it did not last 48 hours before being fundamentally altered. Indeed, the new story put out on Tuesday by White House press secretary Jay Carney bears little resemblance to the original Sunday evening story. The fierce firefight did not occur. Osama bin Laden did not hide behind a woman. Indeed, bin Laden, Carney said, “was not armed.”

The White House has also had to abandon the story that President Obama and his national security team watched tensely as events unfolded in real time (despite the White House having released photos of the team watching tensely), with the operation conveyed into the White House by cameras on the SEALs helmets. If Obama was watching the event as it happened, he would have noticed, one would hope, that there was no firefight and, thus, would not have told the public that bin Laden was killed in a firefight.

On a separate note, I know there are many people pinning their hopes on him to vindicate the “Birthers”.  Someone wrote a comment on this site last week about Donald being a false-start.  That he will “find” the “real” birth certificate in an attempt to kill the birther movement once and for all.

I agree with that assessment.  There are no political saviors.  The savior came 2000 years ago.  If you are looking for another one, then you need to spend some time in church, because you are a blasphemer and heretic.

Especially in light of the quotes above, my spiritual assessment notwithstanding, do you really believe Don Trump as being a reliable conservative?

Doubtful.

Former CIA Bin Laden Section Chief Takes Obama CNN Cheerleaders to School on Libya

Alternate Title: How to get onesself honorably and permanently uninvited from CNN as an expert guest :)

Watch as the “news” “journalists” become visibly flustered as this man with the facts takes them to school on this live CNN broadcast.

Toward the end as their script is utterly obliterated, watch as they become shrill, attack their guest and go abruptly to commercial break.

It’s finally coming together – Sacrificing Privacy = Gun Registration

Just as the founding fathers warned, when you attempt to trade liberty for freedom, you get neither (nor do you DESERVE any – their words).

I’ve been warning for over a year now that Arizona handing over legal citizens data in Arizona state databases to the feds will result in gun registration.

From my June 18, 2010 SA post:

Gun Owners of America oppose national ids because they state that once the federal government has your drivers license data, they have enough information to track gun purchases…

“Since I need a driver’s license to purchase a gun from a dealer, BATFE would finally have its long-coveted tool to impose gun control on targeted groups — particularly under a liberal anti-gun administration.

From my April 18, 2010 SA post:

Based on GOA’s assessment above and the fact that the Arizona MVD can voluntarily hand over your drivers license data to the feds (DPS and CCW data too?), could SB1070 inadvertently lead to gun registration?

The risk here is too great.  In our rush to pass strict anti-illegal immigration measures, have we not paid attention to the greater concern?  Protecting our state sovereignity and our individual independence from the federal government?

Today from DownsizeDC.org, a national conservative PAC:

Should the FBI know how many guns you own?

The “library records” provision of the so-called Patriot Act could also be known as the “gun records” provision, because it also allows the FBI to seize the forms you use to buy guns.

This infamous provision, Section 215, is a direct assault on your Fourth Amendment rights because it allows the FBI to obtain personal information about you, without a warrant and without your knowledge.

Section 215 is set to expire in May, along with two other provisions. But Congress will probably renew these provisions unless it hears from YOU.

In their zeal to “get those illegals,” some “conservatives” accepted anything that Kris Kobach of FAIR wrote when he and FAIR wrote 1070 and other anti-illegal immigration laws INCLUDING SELLING OUT THE PRIVATE DATA OF LAW ABIDING ARIZONA CITIZENS!

Well, as they tend to do, here come the chickens back to their roost.  This data in the hands of Homeland Security and the FBI as provided by Kris Kobach and Russell Pearce in 1070  now provides McCain and cronies with the technicals they need to close the “gun loopholes.”

The data turned over to the feds by the state of all state citizens data in state databases *WILL BE USED* whether now or shortly in the future to do exactly that – build gun registries.

Then, as we all know, shortly thereafter come the confiscations and jailings.

Here’s an example… anyone ever figure out exactly WHO would make the determination as to a newborn’s birth certificate status or HOW they would do it?  Answer: US Deparement of Homeland Security and using SB1070-style national ID checks OF CITIZEN PARENTS against Homeland Security databases.   A “failed” check is someone who is NOT found in the national ID database.  Meaning, presumably, all citizens ARE IN the national ID database!

I wonder where in the constitution it is that says the federal government should keep a national ID database on all US citizens?   Hmmm…… I can’t find it in my copy.

Will that database be used for gun registration?  IT ALREADY IS!

This is why you NEVER NEVER NEVER attempt to trade liberty for “security”, under any circumstances including “gitting those illegals”.  Because then you will have neither liberty nor security.

Want to stop illegal immigration: SECURE THE $%#*&^*% BORDER and quit surveilling law abiding Arizona citizens!

Reducing Medicaid Fraud Georgia Style

They keep saying it’s not for law abiding citizens, but here you go…

Georgia State Bill Requires Biometric ID

The Georgia State Senate has approved a bill that would require senior citizens in the state to acquire a biometric ID card to access Medicaid for health care, according to a WSBTV article.

The new bill, which passed on a 34-21 margin, stipulates the use of fingerprint biometrics for each of the ID cards.

The new measure was introduced as a way to curb Medicaid fraud in the state.

Medicaid recipient’s would be issued a smart card that would store the individual’s fingerprint data. When the patient arrives for an appointment the smart card and fingerprint would be scanned to verify identity. The card would also include the recipient’s photo.

In Arizona, I know “conservatives” are trying to do that to “stop illegals.”

Meanwhile the border is left open and “conservative” Jan Brewer is withdrawing the national guard from the border.  Also, “conservatives” in legislature want to require ID checks for all citizens and run them against the US Department of Homeland Security.

I hate to remind you that that’s PRECISELY what the Clintons wanted to impose on US citizens in the early nineties, specifically defeated by the conservatives elected to Congress in 1994.

And now “conservatives” in Arizona want to impose all of this on law abiding Arizona citizens here and now – yet meanwhile do nothing at the border.

DONT TAKE WOODEN NICKELS.

The IDs are for *US*, not for illegals and don’t let these RINO legislators bamboozle you into believing otherwise.  Check their campaign donations to see if they are getting money from, for example and among others,

L1 Systems,  RedFlex, or ATS, or  the Arizona Corporation Commission whom these companies donate through to politicians to mask their donations
