PHOENIX (Dec. 7) – Today, Aaron Flannery (LD 20), announced his candidacy for 1st Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. Flannery is a precinct committeeman and a former Republican candidate for Maricopa County Recorder (2016).
“There is so much potential in our county party, and I am ready to help Maricopa County Republicans win elections in 2018 and beyond,” Flannery said. “As I traveled around the county during my campaign for Recorder, I was fortunate to meet many precinct committeemen and members of the Republican grassroots who were giving everything they had for GOP victories in 2016. My journey didn’t end how I had planned this past summer, but that experience helped prepare me to direct the MCRC towards becoming a formidable force in future elections. I look forward to running my campaign over the next month and taking my message to Maricopa County precinct committeemen.”
“I am proud to be running alongside Chris Herring for the board of the MCRC. Chris would be an exceptional leader for our party, and someone who is extremely capable of taking us to greater heights.”
“Aaron Flannery quickly became one of the Maricopa County Republicans’ rising stars this year due to his work ethic, engaging personality, and attention to detail,” Chris Herring, candidate for MCRC Chairman, said. “The MCRC would be greatly benefited by Aaron’s services as 1st Vice Chair, and I am privileged to have him as a running mate for the MCRC board. I hope to have the opportunity to serve alongside of Aaron should both of us be elected to our respective offices.”
Aaron Flannery is an Arizona native and a U.S. Army veteran with graduate degrees in both Business and Public Administration.
