Liberals In Washington Are Trying To Prop Up Richard Carmona’s Campaign
PHOENIX – When President Obama phoned Richard Carmona just over a year ago to get him to run for the U.S. Senate, it was just the first of many attempts by liberal Democrats in Washington, D.C., to spread their influence onto Arizona’s voters. Today we learned that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is spending more than a half-million dollars on television advertising trying to help Richard Carmona run away from his connection to Mr. Obama.
Additionally, not only does this money ensure that Carmona will try to protect the Democrats’ majority in the U.S. Senate – by voting for Harry Reid as the Senate Majority Leader – but it’s another reminder that he’ll be a reliable vote for President Obama’s tax-and-spend agenda.
“We’re just now getting a better understanding of why Democrat Richard Carmona answered ‘yes’ to President Obama’s call for him to run for office,” said Arizona Republican Party spokesman Tim Sifert. “This money serves as a notice that Richard Carmona will be a reliable vote for President Obama and Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid’s liberal agenda.”

All I know is he ruined graduation at the University of Arizona one year by giving a political speech on the Iraq war. I’ve gone to quite a few graduations and no one (including Napalitano and Kyle) has been political like that. He is exactly the wrong kind of person we need in washington.
Arizona is a border state and one of the principal points of entry into the U. S. for illegal aliens from South of the border. They come to Arizona and take jobs from American citizens at a time of high unemployment. They overburden our school system with their children. They engage in criminal activity. They cost the taxypayers millions and millions of dollars. What is JEFF FLAKE’S answer to that probelm? The SAME answer given to us by B. Hussein Obama; AMNESTY!
Flake’s “answer” to the problem is to provide illegal aliens with a “pathway to citizenship”. He would see illegal aliens ultimately have the right to vote. Furthermore, JEFF FLAKE supports the DREAM Act amnesty which B. Hussein Obama just implemented by dictatorial decree by way of doing an end run around House Republicans. How do we know that?
Jeff Flake’s STRIVE Act, co-authored with “progressive” Democrat Luis Gutierrez of Chicago and co-sponsored by then U. S. Congressman Rahm Emanuel, contained hidden within it, word for word, Obama’s DREAM Act amnesty!
The Arizona Republican Party thinks that it can have it’s cake and eat it too… at YOUR expense! They think that they can win a U. S. Senate seat AND get an illegal alien amnesty supporter at the same time. The Arizona Republican Party has conspired to deny Arizona Republicans a choice between a pro-amnesty Democrat and an anti-amnesty Republican. They have stacked the deck in favor of illegal alien amnesty.
Teach the Arizona Republican Party a lesson. Make it clear to them that we want a choice when we go to the polls. We don’t want to choose between an illegal alien amnesty supporter with a “D” after his name and another with an “R” after his name. That is NOT a choice, it is a dictate!
Send a clear message to the Arizona Republican Party: “We will no longer hold our nose and vote! Give us better candidates who represent our wishes.. or LOSE!”

The GOP platform calls for mandatory use of E-verify, encourages attrition (self-deportation), and encourages states to participate in the enforcement of immigration laws.

The GOP platform calls for secure borders, enforcement of immigration laws, sanctity of innocent human life from conception to natural death, and sanctity of marriage as the union of one man & one woman. McFlake is on the wrong side of all of those issues, as well as the constitutional & fiscal issues that promote small government and individual freedom.
