Sarah Palin endorses Kirk Adams for Congress in AZ-05

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Today, Kirk Adams, Candidate for the U.S. House in Arizona’s 5th Congressional District announced that he has been endorsed by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Kirk Adams requested the endorsement and shared his beliefs, policy positions and his passion for the citizens of Arizona with Governor Palin.

Governor Palin responded today with a message to Adams

“If you believe strongly in the need to repeal Obamacare, I hope you’ll join me in supporting Kirk Adams for Congress in Arizona’s 5th Congressional District. Kirk is determined to repeal this mother of all unfunded mandates. And when he gets to Washington he won’t just “join the fight” to repeal Obamacare, he’ll help lead it.

As one of the youngest Speakers in the history of the Arizona House of Representatives, Kirk led the fight for less government spending, lower taxes, individual freedom, and limited government. As a small businessman, he knows firsthand that entrepreneurship and small businesses (which many of us built ourselves, Mr. President) are the job creating engine of our economy. Kirk is a proven advocate of removing the crushing burdens of excessive government regulation on our small businesses, and in Congress he will fight to put government back on our side and not in our way.

Kirk has been a steadfast supporter of sound immigration laws and was a leading defender of Arizona citizens as he used his platform to accurately describe this state’s predicament to the rest of America. He was the one who helped us all understand how dangerously misguided President Obama is on state’s rights and the rule of law! When President Obama called Arizona’s law “misguided” and then far removed politicians urged a “boycott” of Arizona, Kirk boldly stood up for his state! He became a loud and proud voice against the unsuccessful boycotts as he passionately wrote here:

His tireless efforts worked.

Please join me in supporting Kirk Adams for Congress today.

–Sarah Palin”

In response to this endorsement, Kirk said, “I am extremely grateful to receive the endorsement of Governor Sarah Palin. I sought her support because I believe that Governor Palin embodies the Washington outsider breaking down the doors of the power elite. Sarah Palin stood up and made a difference in her community and state because she realized she represented so many common sense Americans who were not being represented.

As I have encountered the arrogance of Washington in this race, I appreciate more than ever, people like Governor Palin who stand up for what they believe in despite being underestimated and ridiculed. I am proud to receive the endorsement of Governor Sarah Palin.”

  1. She is no longer considered conservative in my book. She is listenign to McNasty, Sorry John will enver happen, we will not vote for your Liberal endorsements.

  2. Anti-Union says:

What a great endorsement for Adams! Palin knows sending Washington Lobbyist Matt Salmon to the halls of Congress…is a no deal.

  3. ASUDevil says:

I’m glad to see a conservative outsider finally catch on to Matt Salmon. I never understood how the Tea Party groups, including my own, have been falling for this guys shtick as the ‘true conservative’. Look at his record since he lost to Nappy, LOBBYIST! And you want to say he’s more conservative than Adams who brought pension reform, fought Obamacare and balanced the budget. Thank you Palin!

  4. The one thing we should be grateful to John McCain for was being so hideously “unelectable” himself, and saving us from a Palin vice presidency. Unless you are hopelessly entombed in the “conservative soccer Mom” genre and believe Palin is the Martha Stuart of politics, you cringe at every broadcasted utterance of her mall-Mom upscale suburbanite voice.

Although running in lockstep as sole mate to the Pillsbury Beer Boy in 2008, Palin STILL claims to be anti-illegal immigration. But with failure in the scrapbook and insignificance looming, she now flippantly endorses ‘Dreamy-eyed’ surrenderers such as the Luis Gutierrez-worshipping Jeffery Lane Flake. With illegal immigration arguably being ‘Ms. Congenialtiy’ in the 2012 general election issue pageant, Palin needs to retreat back to her beloved Alaska and concentrate on making snow ice cream. The end of an almost-error.

  5. LEO IN TSN says:

Poor Sarah! After carrying McAmnesty through the campaign of ’08, she is now so desperate to be accepted by the GOP beltway elites. That’s why she endorsed McAmnesty in 2010, against a true conservative patriot and after they had made her the scapegoat for McAmnesty’s miserable loss, and that’s why she’s been clamoring for their approval ever since.

Sarah, you will never achieve it. You will always be the scapegoat for their miserable RINO failures. Your endorsement is just a convenient excuse for McAmnesty, McKyl, McAdams, RINO Boehner and the rest, to blame you for the loss of their McBoy. I think McAmnesty, McKyl and etc have already endorsed McAdams, and you get them off the political hook.

Say, isn’t McKyl the “honorary” campaign chairRINO for McAdams? Why, I think he is!! Isn’t he the same McKyl who said “You little people elect me and then forget it—I’ll take care of the thinking.” Why, I think he is!! Come on Sarah, time to wise up and smell the tea.

    God bless America.

  6. Nordine Crub says:

:) Mamma Griz called this one right!

  7. Ummmm, Kirk Adams is a registered lobbyist. His mother-in-law is an acting lobbyist. I would rather vote for a lobbyist, who has no power to make laws, than vote for someone who listens to lobbyists, who DOES have the power to make laws. Lobbyist for Redflex, traffic cameras, or the person who kept the red light camera bills in committee and wouldn’t bring them to the floor for a vote. For me, that’s a no-brainer.

    • CD5 Conservative says:

Two swings, two misses. Kirk is not an active lobbyist. The NOT FOR PROFIT lobbying was for citizens for lower taxes and ended 1/1/07. Second, his mother in law is not listed as a lobbyist period.

The rest of your claim makes zero sense. Salmon is the worst kind of lobbyist. He’ll sell his soul for anyone who will pay him. But keep your head in a hole, listen to what Matt says but can’t prove and buy it hook, line and sinker.

  8. Palin has endorsed Flake and Adams. Maybe the Dems were right.
