This Week’s Ron Barber: Will take Medicare away from seniors!

This week Ron Barber continued to try to deceive voters about his views on Medicare. Fact is, Barber refuses to support the repeal of ObamaCare, which cuts $500 billion from Medicare and empowers a panel of government bureaucrats to make decisions about seniors’ health care. Since the government healthcare takeover is paid for in part by nearly $200 billion in cuts to Medicare Advantage programs, seniors currently on these plans could find their benefits at risk.

In Arizona, more than 342,000 seniors are enrolled in Medicare Advantage, a program that ObamaCare guts to fund the government takeover of healthcare supported by Barber.

Don’t take our word for it.  Here’s what former Arizona Daily Star political reporter and now spokesperson for the NRCC says about Ron Barber:

“Ron Barber’s policies put seniors at risk. He refuses to support the repeal of ObamaCare, which is the only way to stop Obama and Pelosi’s cuts to Medicare. No wonder Pelosi and Raul ‘Boycott’ Grijalva are backing Barber’s campaign.”

  1. As a man who knows comedy, I think this is hilarious:

“Don’t take our word for it. Here’s what former Arizona Daily Star political reporter and now spokesperson for the NRCC says about Ron Barber…”

Well, THAT’S certainly an unbiased opinion!

It’d be funnier if it read like this though…

“Don’t take Republican Congressional candidate Jesse Kelly’s opinion for it, here’s what the National Republican Congressional Commitee spokesman has to say!”

Ron Barber will walk lock step with Nancy, remember the Health care walk? Remember the lies about the Tea Party, remember the $100,000 offered by Breitbart for the video of anybody spitting or yelling racist or demeaning names to the black legislatures? Ron Barber will fit right in. We need to rid Az of all Dimo Rats in 2012 by voting them out. I for one am sick of their lies, Obama is a socialist or a Marxist or a combination of both, Ron Barber will just help pass his job killing agenda.

    • What job killing agenda? I was laid off last year, and had 5 job offers within a month! The people who are out of work are those who didn’t bust their rears to develop marketable skills. It’s all about personal responsibility. The economic recovery seems to be on track. The tea party is composed of a bunch of uneducated white trailer trash that are whining about their lack of personal responsibility. The fact that they dud’t study hard in high school, that they didn’t go to college and major in something that pays off, is coming back to haunt them. Tough.

  3. Two things:

    1. Breitbart’s thesis was that if it didn’t happen on videotape, it didn’t happen. Since most of life’s events don’t happen on videotape, this is fallacious.

    2. Breitbart obviously didn’t have money for regular trips to a cardiologist, so he sure as hell didn’t have money for a reward.

    Bonus thing:

Maybe Andy would still be alive if Health Care Reform had been farther reaching and he HAD been able to go to the doctor.

    • LD 20 PC says:

Just like a spewing DimoRat. Breitbart had the bux if it was said where is the witnesses, opps repeat the Dims lies I see. He was under the care of a cardiologist, but I forgot you leftist like to celebrate the death of anybody you fear, especially anybody reporting the truth. The Tea Party has only been accused of racism by the most radical of you, you believe if you say it the truth will fall by the wayside.

      • “Just like a spewing DimoRat.”

I see you’ve got your “How to Talk Like a Conservative Drone” guide handy.

“He was under the care of a cardiologist…”

        1. Either not a very good one, unlike mine who was able to detect and fix a problem that would have killed me 5 years ago, 2. Or the cardiologist was good, and his needless death was just another example of how “personal responsibility” is just a meaningless catchphrase to the Tea Party.

“The Tea Party has only been accused of racism by the most radical of you”

Yeah, call me when Baggers stop carrying signs like this:

First thing: There were many claims that this happened on video tape. Jesse Jackson, Jr. himself was walking with the congressmen with a camera in hand. There were dozens of people that had recording devices. The reward was offered because the evidence was not forthcoming from those that made the accusation. Of all the recording devices that day, there was not one shred of proof that anything happened the way that the congressman/men/women said it did, and tons of evidence that exonerated the TEA party.

Second: Breitbart did not believe in government intrusion into private citizens’ lives. He made his own choice to treat his health the way he did, no government Health Care Reform needed.

    • “Breitbart did not believe in government intrusion into private citizens’ lives. He made his own choice to treat his health the way he did, no government Health Care Reform needed.”

I’m not sure how making health care more accessible is “government intrusion into private lives” but whatever. I’m sure that it comforts the widow Breitbart that James O’Keefe got 65K and her husband’s in a box.

“There were dozens of people that had recording devices.”

We’re back to the “if it didn’t occur on videotape, it didn’t happen” argument. I cannot disprove a logical fallacy, so I’m not going to try.

  5. LD 20 PC says:

When a panel of government bureacrats can tell a citizen what care they can receive that is interference in you life. Healthcare is very accessable, for an American citizen, Obama made it more accessable to illegals.

  6. Gee, I thought we didn’t support government run health care. Isn’t Medicare government run health care opposed by conservatives? Isn’t cutting it a good idea? Shouldn’t seniors who can’t afford health care do without? Let’s be consistent, please.
