Call to Prayer
Marriage between a man and a woman is lifegiving, and a majority of Americans understand this. Yet marriage is under constant assault. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled the California marriage amendment was unconstitutional. In Washington State, a bill was signed into law to completely redefine marriage. The New Jersey legislature passed legislation to do the same, but Governor Christie vetoed it. Maryland’s legislature recently passed similar legislation, and their governor has vowed to sign the bill. The attacks are coming from all sides. In response, Alliance Defense Fund has called for a National Pray for Marriage Day this Sunday, February 26. This prayer guide offers suggestions to pray for a restoration of marriage in America. While there is much work to be done to protect marriage in America, we must always remember to go to the Lord first, because only He can bring us victory. Take time this Sunday to pray for marriage! |

Santorum is far more able to carry the Republican flag against Obama because of his stance on social issues and economic issues. American families are the core of our nation and the liberal agenda of Obama is ruining the outlook for families in our country.
The media focuses attacks on Santorums quotes on social issues to undermine his candidacy because he is the nightmare for Obama. He is a strong contrast to the moral relativism of the Dems. Romney is not, and he has more flip flops and centrist equivocating positions than Santorum.
Unfortunately, the Republican establishment and leadership don’t want a sharp contrast with Obama. That’s why they are promoting Romney.
If Santorum got the nomination, I think that Obama would refuse to have any debates with him UNLESS Obama could control what the debate topics.
I would like to see B. Hussein Obama facing off with Santorum on liberal versus Conservative positions on social issues. Obama would be forced to lay it on the line. He would hem and haw and evade and that would sink him with voters OR he would defend his positions on social issues and THAT would sink him with voters.
The NEXT step in abortion:
“Journal defends its publication of an article advocating “after-birth abortion”
“posted at 6:35 pm on February 28, 2012 by Tina Korbe”
“The editor of the Journal of Medical Ethics today defended his decision to publish an article in which two ethicists advocated “after-birth abortion.” What was truly surprising about the article, editor Julian Savulescu writes, is not that the authors find infanticide morally permissible — but, rather, that opponents to infanticide would react to the article with vehemence.”
“Both a fetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons, but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life’. We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her.”
“Merely being human is not in itself a reason for ascribing someone a right to life.”
