I thought she was saying Russell Pearce would only be out of office for one more year. She has got to be embarrassed that her East Valley guy at the legislature was just recalled, you just can’t get around that fact.
And now Obama shows up to actually visit the East Valley and perhaps gloat a little. Touche.

You know, that’s what I love the most about liberals. They are able to live on pure conjecture and speculation, LOL! Has Governor Brewer told you that she is embarrassed or did you pull that out of your keester?
As regards B. Hussein Obama, I don’t think he’ll know whether or not he has anything to “gloat”about until after SCOTUS renders it decisions regarding SB1070 issues. What we do know is that Obama’s DOJ asked SCOTUS to NOT hear SB1070 issues, saying that they were fully and properly addressed by lower courts. It would appear that SCOTUS didn’t agree with that assessment because it decided that it WOULD hear SB1070 issues, despite the pleas of the Obama DOJ.
My grammar is clear. She has got to be embarrassed by Pearce’s loss = she ought to be, she must be, she should be.
They were close allies, ideologically and otherwise, and he was taken down by his voters.
The blog here invites us to “Speak Your Mind” and I am doing so. My opinion above about Brewer does not make me a liberal, does it?

Well now, Woodrow, make up your mind. If you are going to farbricate things you need to decide on what it is you wish to fabricate. Is it that she “is” embarrassed, she “ought to be” embarrassed, she “must be” embarrassed” or she “should be” embarrassed?
This is one of the ongoing challenges faced by liberals. Since they abhor facts, they continually have to fabricate things. But what should they fabricate? That’s a tough one, LOL!
Maybe you can point us to a quote where Governor Brewer stated that she is embarrassed. I mean that would, after all, be the most simple, clear and easy way to go, would it not? So just post the quote where she stated that she is, in fact, embarrassed and we can wrap this up.
I seem to recall reading that she said she’d have to “regroup” after the debacle. I took that to mean “pull herself together.” I don’t think things went the way she wanted.
Not sure any of this discussion would make one a liberal…
Speaking of facts, why’d you address me as Woodrow? The name is Wilson.
Now, Woodrow, let’s remember where all of this started, shall we? You wrote this:
“She has got to be embarrassed that her East Valley guy at the legislature was just recalled…”
Now you’re saying this: “I seem to recall reading that she said she’d have to “regroup” after the debacle. I took that to mean “pull herself together.”
So you “seem to recall” and you “took that to mean”. Is that right, Woodrow? Hey, those are really solid facts which certainly allow you to be a credible spokesperson for Governor Brewer’s feelings, stating that she “has got to be embarrassed”.
“I seem to recall…”
“I don’t think…”
Well, Woodrow, is there anything that you’re certain about? Is there anything which you really know?
You see, Woodrow, this is what happens when you indulge in fabrications instead of facts. That is precisely why liberals are always tripping themselves up.
Have a nice day, Woodrow!
There are things I’m certain about, but I don’t want to hurt your feelings. If you want to press on, and I happen to mosey on back to this thread, I’ll pipe up about some chinks in your armor.
I don’t entertain intimidation. Put up or shut up.
She was suffering from premature rigor mortis.
She told a “smell my finger” joke.
And maybe Obama’s behavior can be explained by the fact that SCOTUS issued a 9 to 0 unanimous decision against the position taken by his DOJ in Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church and School, Petitioner v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, et al.
Maybe he’s still upset over the “Citizens United” decision by SCOTUS.
