Please sign the petition supporting Governor Jan Brewer in her defense of the State of Arizona.
As we all witnessed on Wednesday afternoon, Governor Brewer, was confronted by President Obama as he stepped off Air Force One in Mesa. As the Governor has testified, he did not take kindly to an excerpt in her book, Scorpions for Breakfast, about an accounting of her defense of SB 1070. He also treated Governor Brewer with disrespect as he walked away from her while she spoke with him.
Please support Governor Brewer as she stands up for Arizona against an administration that has failed us on border security, failed us through Fast & Furious and even has brought a lawsuit against the State of Arizona.
Thank You Governor Brewer!

And just like that, I’m back. It’s been a month, right?
Sorry, not going to support a known liar.
“I have no copy of the letter I gave Barack Obama!” – Jan Brewer, 9:14AM
“Here is a copy of the letter I gave Barack Obama.” – Jan Brewer, 2:00PM
Hey, Klute. Thought you fell in!
So who are you going to support, Klute?
“So who are you going to support, Klute?”
Arizona.
Is she on the ballot?
Lame Duck.
I meant is Klute’s favored candidate, “Arizona”, on the ballot, LOL!
I don’t know yet. While I did re-register as a Republican last month, just to make sure my voice was heard in this very special election (TM), I don’t know who are the dozens of candidates on the ballot.
Maybe I’ll write in Arizona.
That would be a lot better than writing in Illinois, LOL!
Regarding the letter, when a member of the media asked the Governor’s press person if they could have a copy of the letter, they misspoke thinking that the Governor’s handwritten letter was the only copy. Apparently, they didn’t realize that someone else has already made a copy. They later corrected that today. No longer an issue.
That’s the official story, yes.
Which didn’t change until people starting talking about the open records law.
Then that letter got found tout suite.
Power to the people, and all that.
Ah, nothing quite like a conspiracy theory, LOL! Are you finding Conservatives under the bed, Klute?
Simply offering an alternate explanation of the events. I know how much conservatives like to challenge the official stories out of the government.
You mean that you trust official stories out of the government!
Oddly, the Brewer spokesman is a former reporter who covered a political beat. Surely he knows the public records law better than most.
You know we have special elected officials that we pay (handsomely) to represent us in Washington. Brewer is not one of them.
Whether you like Gov. Brewer or not is not the point concerning this resent event. Obama came to our house with an axe to grind! He acted like a low class street punk [Well he is a rable rouser from the streets of Chicago] We have learned to expect this type of behaior from him.
I worked very hard for a different candidate than the eventual winner in the last gubernatorial election here in Arizona, but she won and has done a good job in most aspects of conservative ideology for the State. But that doesn’t matter here. Obama has been waging war against Arizona since day one of his Administration. Coming here to try to embarrass Brewer/us cannot be tolerated.
Down with Emperor Obama, up with Arizona.
This was an obvious political stunt. Conservative Mesa Mayor, Scott Smith, who was standing right there when it all happened, put out a statement refuting Jan Brewer’s version of the events. That said…I can’t stand Obama, and even though its pure bunk, I still enjoyed the picture of Jan Brewer shaking her finger at Komrad Obama. And Jan’s handlers know that, which is why they staged the event and put her up to it…brilliant politics.
I would like to see his statement. I am not refuting you, but Mayor Smith is only conservative when it suits him. He is no ally of Sheriff Joe and many others.
Here are the only remarks I can find on Smith regarding the incident. So where is the “statement of refute” quoted above?

Interesting, you demand a poster substantiate a well-published story concerning Brewer’s “finger pointing’ but you leave unchallenged the bizarre wingnut claims that the American presidency is tantamount to “tyranny” imposed by an “emperor.”
What scares Sarge more, the US Constitution, the American form of democracy or a dictionary?
He seemingly has little knowledge of any of the three.
I don’t like Obama, but calling him a tyrant just makes we on the right seem like reactionary buffoons. The left loves those comments, I don’t. Knock it off.
NOTICE: The above poster, “truconserv”, is a propagandist for the liberal left posing as a Conservative for the express purpose of discrediting real Conservatives.
Among her more bizarre claims is that “foreign governments” are tracking her internet surfing. She also complains about a “socialist big-brother in the bedroom pro-federal instrusion agenda” but can’t explain what she means by that.
TC claims to be an attorney but can’t answer these simple legal questions:
Is homosexual “marriage” a constitutional right under the 14th Amendment?
Do the courts and The Constitution exist to protect the minority from a tyranny of the majority?
Did Lawrence v. Texas render all morality-based laws unconstitutional?
With TC it always comes down to the black helicopters, conspiracy theories and flouride in the water. She seeks to make real Conservatives appear to be a bunch of loons. That is, after all, her liberal mission here at SA!
Before your creepy cyber-stalking accused me of being a paid-propagandist.
You dropped that little bit of lie from the bigger lie you continue to tell.
Did I lose my job?
I’ve answered all your questions time and time-again, yet you continue to ask. Shall I start cutting and pasting right along with you?
No, as that would shut down SA, as I suspect is your true goal.
You’re a creepy loser who has never held a job higher than security guard, don’t expect anyone to feel sorry for you – that’s not the conservative way.
NOTICE: The above poster, “truconserv”, is a PAID propagandist for the liberal left posing as a Conservative for the express purpose of discrediting real Conservatives.
For example, she wrote this:
“True Conservative says:
December 8, 2011 at 10:07 pm”
“How about you? Still pushing that socialist “big-brother in the bedroom” pro-federal instrusion agenda? Are you sure you’re a conservative?”
Huh? What the hell are you talking about, TC? What “big-brother in the bedroom”? You aren’t referring to homosexual “marriage” are you? Is that what you mean?
You claim to be a Conservative and an attorney with knowledge of The Constitution. How is it that you can’t answer these simple legal questions?
Is homosexual “marriage” a constitutional right under the 14th Amendment?
Did Lawrence v. Texas render all morality-based laws unconstitutional?
Now you keep an eye out for “big-brother” and “intrusions” in your bedroom! You know that the “Feds” and “foreign governments” are tracking you, Peaches, LOL!
Have a nice day, Pinko!
Sarge and I just wanted to read what you’re claiming, that the Mesa mayor disputes Governor Brewer’s account of the event – but instead you spun away from that statement into preamble land. It would only seem logical if this occurred as you stated the local broadcast filth would have been all over it. Why don’t you just direct us to this story (link) instead of writing an Emily Post primer for conservatism? What is the SOURCE of your statement?
My statement is that you let Flapjaw, who likely has never served it the armed forces, slide on his claim that Obama is a tyrant who rules as an emperor, but challenged the well-publicized story of the Mesa Mayor.
The source is your post. If you really need to review it, just scroll-up.
You wingnuts toss out hyperbole that makes we on the right look like fools. If I was on the left, I’d leave it go unchallenged. As a conservative, it pisses me off.
We can defeat Obama on the merits. We don’t have to lie, we don’t have to engage in exaggeration or demonization.
Further, mocking the American form of democracy simply because you’re unhappy with the result of one election demonstrates a fundamental problem with the American way of life – and that means you have a problem with conservativism.
Enough crap! I ask you again, WHERE is the story about the Mesa Mayor’s statement refuting Jan Brewer’s version of the events? You made the statement, now back it up or admit you simply made it up. My god.
Reading fail, ZOO?
You can see the name of person who wrote the post by looking just above the post. That was not me.
The story, however, has been well covered.
My point – the one you dodge like Clinton dodged the draft – is that you have no problem with people who equate the American form of democracy with tyranny and the presidency with an emperor.
But my, watch the spittle fly when you can’t figure out how to use google.
Some patriot you are.
ROFL! TC asking for proof! That is simply TOO funny, LOL!
So TC, where’s your proof that “foreign governments” are tracking your internet surfing?
Where’s your proof that “big brother” is “intruding” in your bedroom? Have pics of the Feds peeking in your bedroom windows?
Have a nice day, Pinko!
No support for Brewer since she vetoed five (count ‘em) referenda the voters passed in 2010. Since she is now waffling on the 1-cent tax she supported she swore was temporary.
Brewer is a liar and a RINO and sold herself and the people of Arizona to the Obama administration.
The last time I heard Brewer speak about the sales tax she said unequivically that she will not extend the tax. I agree that she was once for the tax and she did veto the 5 bills that would have augmented 1070. Bad moves. I did not say that I am a fan of our Governor. I said that this issue is about the tyranny of the Obama administration. I will say that she has learned that working with the House and Senate can get good things done, the budgets for one.
True enough about the tax, Flapjaw. A plan by an independent group to extend the tax via referendum is something I mistakenly attributed to Brewer.
The five bills she vetoed did not all apply to 1070. One gave individual Arizonans the right to opt out of Obamacare. Vetoed. Another required all presidential candidates to be vetted as eligible. Vetoed.
She’s in Obama/Sebellius’ pocket by taking millions in funds to shore up the state’s Medicaid rolls. Thus her actions on the above-named laws the voters approved. Also sheds a lot of light on the recent tarmac confrontation. I watched it with amusement.
Obama is nothing but a turd. An ineligible turd, at that. Thanks for questioning my tax statement and making me go back and review my sources. Keeps me (somewhat) honest.
Gee, really, Miss Vicki? Then how is it that SB1070 issues are going to be heard by SCOTUS despite the pleas of the Obama DOJ that SCOTUS NOT hear them? That’s “selling out” to the Obama administration? You want her to go after Obama with a hammer or something, LOL!
Yeah, really, CA. The RINO gov is in the pocket of the White House. But you don’t need me to prove it. You are perfectly capable of digging up the truth for yourself.
Yeah, really, Vicki? Oh, but I DO need you to prove it. What I dug up is that Governor Brewer signed SB1070 into law, has backed it’s defense and now, against the wishes of B. Hussein Obama, SCOTUS is going to hear SB1070 related issues. So yeah, really, Vicki, I DO need you to prove it.
So where is your “proof” that Governor Brewer is a RINO “in the pocket of the White House”, Miss Vicki? You said it. Back it up with facts.
Miss Vicki wrote: “But you don’t need me to prove it. You are perfectly capable of digging up the truth for yourself.”
ROFL! No, you’re not going to skate. You made the claim, you prove it. I’m not doing any digging, you do the digging. See if you can dig yourself out of the hole you’ve dug yourself into, LOL! Stand and deliver!
Have a nice day, Miss Vicki!
If anyone [truconservative et al] does not believe that taking over privately owned Corporations, the banking industry, the medical industry, appointing “czars” to circumvent congress, confiscating private property, circumventing the Constitution to appoint Cabinet Secretaries, Threatening political opponants with putting his foot on their necks, favoring one segment of society over another [union over non union workers] favoring some industries over others [renewable over fossil], redistribution of wealth, and many more instances. All for increasing his power base and paying off supporters to launder money for re-election funds are not imperial and tyrannical, then we have no further basis for a conversation.
The only reason for there is no basis for discussion is that what you just wrote was that you hate the American form of government, prefer to follow internet myths over reality and you have no clue what is the meaning of the word tyranny or imperial.
You hate America – so leave. We will continue to thrive without you. We will defeat Obama in the fall in a free and fair election and in his place we will put our guy and I am sure he will do whatever he can to push forward his agenda.
Like you whine about Obama with your mix of lies and exaggerations, the left will do the same to that person. Wingnuts live in both parties and while you may be the cross the (R) has to bear don’t bitch because some of us tire of your faux hysteria.
Repeat after me: there is no tyrant, because there will be an election. There is no empire, because there is an election.
You are no patriot – you’re just another wingnut wishing for a revolution.
NOTICE: The above poster, “truconserv”, is a PAID propagandist for the liberal left posing as a Conservative for the express purpose of discrediting real Conservatives.
With TC it always comes down to flouride in the water, conspiracy theroies and black helicopters. She thinks that some “big brother” is “intruding” in her bedroom and that “foreign governments” are tracking her internet surfing. She claims to be a “conservative” and then makes delusional posts at SA to in an attempt to make real Conservatives look like a bunch of whackos.
Have a nice day, Pinko!
NOTICE: The above poster, “Conservative American”, is a CONFIRMED AND SELF ADMITTED bigot posing as a heterosexual Conservative for the express purpose of releasing his long repressed homoerotic fantasies whilst hiding behind a anonymous name.
Oh noes! Rob has brought out the “big guns”! He’s called me the dreaded liberal “B” word… BIGOT! What ever shall I do! ROFL!
Well, Rob, I consider that quite a compliment coming from a radical leftist liberal like you. You can hardly say that you’ve earned your wings as a Conservative unless a Daily Kos poster, like Rob, has called you something like a “racist, hateful bigot”, LOL!
Hmmm, “homoerotic fantasies”? Quite an interesting statement coming from someone who wrote this to me:
“Rob says:
December 26, 2011 at 9:27 pm”
“Why bother with silly, wimpy football guys when I have you to fantasize about?”
“muah…xoxoxoxo”
Hey, Rob, does that count as a “homoerotic fantasy”?
So, what do you think, Rob. When TC wrote this, do you think she was referring to homosexual “marriage”?
“True Conservative says:
December 8, 2011 at 10:07 pm”
“How about you? Still pushing that socialist “big-brother in the bedroom” pro-federal instrusion agenda? Are you sure you’re a conservative?”
‘Ya think?
And, of course, the best part of all is that here we have Rob, an admitted “former Republican” and one of the biggest known liberals posting at SA, defending the allegedly “Conservative” TC! Well ain’t that something! TC is SO “Conservative” that a flaming liberal rises to her defense. Brilliant, Rob, just brilliant, LOL!
Now you and Miss TC have a really nice day, Rob!
Oh yeah, Rob, and I REALLY got a kick out of this part:
“…whilst hiding behind a anonymous name.”
Yeah, I looked up “Rob” in the phone book but couldn’t find you. It would seem that using just a first name makes you anonymous too, LOL!
Best of all, I couldn’t find anything under “True Conservative” or “truconserv” either. Why heck, that isn’t even a first name, Rob!
So since you are so upset about anonymous names, don’t forget to call out TC on that. I mean you liberals are known to apply cirteria evenly across the board, aren’t you? That’s what makes liberalism such a great thing, isn’t it?
Have a nice day, Anonymous Rob!
I’m withholding my signature until I hear her ACTIVELY OPPOSE the teachers union’s ballot measure to extend the 1% sales tax increase.
Again, NEUTRAL is not acceptable. She’s a lame duck governor now and needs to ACTIVELY OPPOSE the tax increase extension.
The Gov. has come out and said “NO” to an extention. I heard her my very own self. She is against the measure, but cannot stop a ballot referendum.
Like, before the Nov 2010 vote on the referendum, when she took her message to the airwaves, bombarding us with dire teacher/firefighter/police BS warnings if we did not pass this tax increase?
Yes, Oberserve, I’m with you. If she’s so against extending it, she will come out for that position as well if the referendum makes it to the ballot. But don’t hold yer breath with a lame duck gov.
I agree that we need to wait until the teachers get their signatures. They will get them I am sure as most all the State employees will work hard for higher taxes whenever possible. If she does not come out very strongly for defeating the referendum, she will show that she has not changed her ideology at all.
I did hear her raise her voice and say NO! Let’s see how hard she fights it.
So let me see if I have this right, Miss Vicki. Governor Brewer is responsible for the passage of Proposition 100. It was put to a vote of the people but Governor Brewer is responsible for the outcome of that vote. Is that right, Miss Vicki?
Miss Vicki wrote: “…she took her message to the airwaves, bombarding us with dire teacher/firefighter/police BS warnings if we did not pass this tax increase…”
And, of course, while Governor Brewer was advocating for Proposition 100, there was no one on the other side trying to sway voters against it. Except for the following:
Rep. David Stevens
Republican Senators Pamela Gorman, Ron Gould and Russell Pearce
The National Federation of Independent Business
Americans for Prosperity
U. S. Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl
Arizona Free Enterprise Club
And here is one of the videos which urged voters to vote against Proposition 100:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjOSjKz3THM
So the truth is that voters heard both sides of the issue and voted to pass Proposition 100 by a margin of 28.6%; 64.3% in favor and 35.7% opposed.
The people have spoken. They didn’t speak as you wished them to speak. Is that the problem, Miss Vicki? If voters don’t vote as you wish them to then you need to find a scapegoat to blame?
You refer to Governor Brewer as a “lame duck” but her performance regarding Proposition 100 was anything but “lame”. Governor Brewer was opposed by John McCain regarding Proposition 100 but prevailed with voters. Is that what’s bothering you, Miss Vicki?
Have a nice day, Miss Vicki!
With almost two years left in her current term, isn’t it a little premature to be throwing around the term “lame duck?” But then, it does make these coverts feel good. We have the state tax now because morons stayed home on election day and morons voted. As Sgt. stated, Governor Brewer has no control over referendums, nor the idiots who sit on their asses and ignore them.
Since she’s ineligible to run for office again, zoo, yes she’s a lame duck. That means she acts without fear of voter backlash, ever since the day she was re-elected to her final term last November. Fortunately for her, her dogged support of 1070 won her the election otherwise she would have been thrown out on her a** for her decidedly non-conservative administration, among them supporting a tax increase.
Gosh, Miss Vicki. You seem to have missed a couple of things. Let me repost them here for your convenience.
So where is your “proof” that Governor Brewer is a RINO “in the pocket of the White House”, Miss Vicki? You said it. Back it up with facts.
