Thank you Governor Brewer for not backing down when confronted by President Obama this afternoon.
This is Our State and even the President needs to show a little respect when he touches down on our turf, especially turf that once sent our men and women off to battle.
Lesson to President Obama: Never mess with a Governor who eats scorpions for breakfast!
I love the fact that Obama totally brought this on himself by accosting Governor Brewer less than a minute after he stepped off Air Force One!
News of this incident completely hijacked and overshadowed the purpose for his visit to Arizona. I can imagine his press people getting read the riot act as Air Force One took off for Nevada with Obama screaming at them, “What a complete waste of time!”
Serves him right for getting in our Governor’s face! Sometimes it takes a strong woman to put a bully in his place!
Well, Shane, Obama may have been a bit out of sorts. After all, his DOJ asked SCOTUS to NOT hear the SB1070 case. SCOTUS respectfully declined that request and IS going to hear the case. Obama gets upset when the SCOTUS doesn’t do as he wishes. You remember his performance at the State of The Union address after the “Citizens United” decision.
If the information is correct Obama began the negative exchange over Brewer’s book, so this picture which will come back to haunt him is well deserved. This is stand up Arizona which the left loathes.
Yeah, zoo, the lefties have a fit when their attempted intimidation doesn’t work. I guess they think that if they huff and puff that we are going to roll over. That reveals a fundamental misunderstanding about what Conservatives are. If they huff and puff and find a hurricane coming back at them, then they know that they have found a Conservative.
Chuck is really good. He also had the help of White House staff that are stupid and let the Prez get set up. This was a good way to diffuse the prez jobs plan photo op at Intel. Also helps the national Rep campaign some.
Unfortunately, the Govs jobs plan was to give Don Cardon a huge paycheck while he cooked his deals with real estate developers that would hire him after his gig at AZ Commerce Authority. I am sure Don has a new contract with some big national housing developer and the ACA board will do a “National” search and hire Sara Dial to run the ACA next.

The rest of our country [Non-Arizona America] should watch the moves that the “Evil Emperor” makes when a state and it’s elected officials don’t follow the doctrine. The war that the Federal Government has been waging upon us and ours is a very telling indicator of what is in store for the rest of the country. Reasonable and well thought out resistance is the best way to fight tyranny.
If the others don’t fight back, the ogres will eat them. The best weapon to use…….Backbone.

This is her “Occupy Air Force One” moment, and I’m actually sorry for it.
She’s given the left an opportunity to shove our desire for civil discourse back in our faces.
Geez Wilson, by all accounts it was the arrogant lout that showed disrespect and rudeness. There has been very little civility from the Emporer, or his Marxist Cabal.
You cannot beat them with accepting their ham handed behavior as if it were not an affront. Obama [I really hate to call him by name] is a low class act.
So you’re saying Obama is in the gutter, and that he’s successfully dragged her down to his level. You know what that makes him? Successful.
Brewer had an opportunity to do something other than take the personal, impulsive, and short-sighted path. She blew it.
Fact is, Brewer did nothing wrong or in poor taste. The lout turned his back and walked away from her after he tried to lay into her for the wrtings in a book. He is just a man-child with no class and has periods of temper tantrums. You can support/excuse him if you wish, not me.
I’ve never been more proud to call myself a FORMER Republican.
