Wil Cardon: Obama Administration Wrong for Reducing Troops on Border

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 20, 2011
CONTACT: Katie Martin

Phoenix, Arizona – Wil Cardon, candidate for U.S. Senate, issued the following statement after the Obama Administration announced they will reduce the number of National Guard Troops on the border from 1200 to 300 this coming January:

“The decision to reduce troops on our border by the Obama Administration is unconscionable. The federal government’s abandonment of its responsibility to secure the border is alarming and frustrating. This new announcement shows how out of touch with reality the Obama Administration truly is. Our communities cannot afford less support from the federal government to protect our border. A porous border threatens our safety, curtails our quality of life, and diminishes the economic opportunity of hardworking Americans. I am running for the U.S. Senate because we need a leader in Washington who has the wisdom and the courage to act decisively and secure our borders once and for all.”

  1. Conversely, here is Jeff Flake pushing hard for open borders and more foreign labor:

Good luck Cardon! A shame Van Steenwyk is setting up to split the pro-border security vote

  2. Great memory LD11. Flake has managed to stay under the radar for years, likely upstaged by McAmnesty. Although Cardon has already been colored here as a ‘Mormon doctrine’ carrier by CA, he is surely a better bet than a known (or little known) open-borders guest-worker amnesty-sucking pretty boy like Flake. Since Flake wants to broaden his horizons with the help of a different voting demographic, maybe the truth (and his record) will come to the surface.

  3. Flake has been in office a while and had a number of opponents, so his record is pretty well know and obviously accepted since he’s been reelected every two years to the job he has now. Sure, some of those same people elected Russell Pearce, so what.

Cardon is an unknown. Nice guy? So what. Bill Clinton was a super nice guy. But without a track record, there’s just too much at stake to give some new guy from nowhere a US Senate seat.

  4. Oh, and by the way “curtails our quality of life” is code for “non-white people populating our neighborhoods and schools.” Probably not what they mean, but who knows.

    • A left-wing remark on a conservative site? No, it couldn’t be. How about 50,000 dead Americans killed by illegal aliens? What about their quality of life?

  5. McCain is Flake’s mentor:
On “No Earmarks” and now election time FLIP FLOPPING.
AZGOP (McCain) earmarks Kyl’s seat for Flake.

(Oops Flake doesn’t believe in earmarks.)

    Cardon ex intern of McCain.
Cardon ex co-chair Flake for U.S. Senate 2012 Campaign Finance Committee.
Cardon and family campaign contributions (support) to Flake for decades.
Cardon announces run against Flake while on Flakes Campaign Finance Committee.
Cardon doesn’t agree with Flakes immigration policies – see above.
Cardon states “money and employees” will win election.
Actually the fake Card is the split vote (which there is no such thing).
And have it be known that the money boys are placing equal contributions on both.

And we have Doug Mckee, too funny.

Have you considered how many decent people are harmed by that sort of extrapolation?
The Open Borders Crowd uses that racism profusely to guilt trip their radical political agenda on the one side and to whip up anger and fear on the the other side.

NO ONE of ANY “color” needs that dirty incitement. It hurts EVERYONE. How about reasonable people not being party to it and returning debate to what it should be?

Drug cartels are bad bad news… ask any neighborhood of any color. THey are the number one exploiters of the illegal network and number one violent exploiter of people of their own “color.” Denying them cover would be in everyone’s interest.

    • I noticed that was a carry-over comment from another thread discussion.

      • Sgt. Flapjaw says:

The open boarders crowd seems to have many things in common with the leftists. One of them being the propensity to race bait. That is hate talk from the lowest individuals of these groups. Shameful, I believe that they are truley faux conservatives posting on supposedly conservative sites in an effort to slander those of us who would like to see our laws enforced.
