Beware of DeeDee Garcia Blase’s Tequila Party!

Do NOT give any money to an organization called the Tequila Party – especially under the leadership of DeeDee Garcia Blase.

Watch the following video and see why this organization and woman should not be trusted.

Comments

  1. Tequila?
No one raised their hand and said anything about that idea at the brainstorming meeting?

  2. What’s the likelihood people are going to dump “Tequila” into the Salt River versus just drinking it?

Aren’t there some less alcoholic and bar-fly things that could be used to evoke “Hispanic” other than “Tequila?” Seems a bit “stereotypic” which the stated point was to get AWAY from all that?

Doesn’t Mexico have a lot of like pretty flowers or some such pleasanties that have a much more positive imagery that appeal to non-bar-hopping women and families and aren’t detrimental to maternal-child health?

She loved to parade Daryl Williams around claiming because he held high up positions in the LDS church and a lawyer, that somehow he spoke for the church about immigration. Pushing the Utah Compact.

  4. She wants to give the illegals the vote, plain and simple. But ALRA needs a spokesman that can articulate their position more clearly.

  5. Well, if Mexican citizens want the right to vote in the USA, then American citizens should have the reciprocal right to vote in Mexican elections.

    Let’s see, 308,400,408 Americans and 112,336,538 Mexicans.
Why, boy howdy, THIS is VERY interesting.

  6. True Conservative says:

Ha ha ha ha ha! DeeDee says that she built up Somos Republicans into the largest Republican Hispanic organization in the US. What a JOKE! Has anyone ever seen more than one or two people associated with Somos Republicans other than DeeDee? She sits around all day at her computer generating self-promotional press releases. Generating press releases attacking conservative Republicans does not equate to “the largest Republican Hispanic organization in the US.” The truth is, what DeeDee will not admit, is that Somos Republicans has been an embarrassing failure, she realizes no one is buying that she is a Republican who represents Republicans Hispanics, so she is changing her voter registration to Independent and starting all over again with a new name, “Tequila Party.” Much more representative of her values (has anyone ever seen all the profanity on her facebook page?) Good-bye and good riddance, we won’t miss you on the right!

    • True Conservative says:

Okay – apologies to Wnumba – someone is posting under my handle ….

The above is not mine. I have no opinion on DeeDee and don’t know anything about Somos (R)

  7. Watch the video and observe how DeeDee Garcia Blase reacts during the discussion. Make your own decision as to her stability.

If DeeDee Garcia Blase wants all the negative publicity to go away, the offer still stands! I will be glad to take down all the negative posts if she retracts and removes the lies and libel she is spreading about me and Sonoran Alliance.

    The offer still stands!

  8. Shane,

I must admit I was a bit puzzled about your previous post and have spent some time looking around for the negative and libelous post that got you so upset to begin with. I only found one that mentioned Sonoran Alliance and/or you by name. All it said was that this site has a slant toward “Dixiecrat Republicans” such as Pearce, Arpaio and Hayworth.

Is this the one you were talking about?

    • Ah – never mind… I found the one you were talking about. Interesting first “skim through”. I’ll read it again; perhaps a few times.

  9. Marty Smith says:

funny isn’t it? The liberals have trashed the grassroots Tea Party from day one. Yet, they keep trying to copy it! with no success, BTW

    Coffee, anyone?

  10. Is this ironic or what?

“The [Tequila] distillation process was introduced by the Spaniards on the 17th century. The distillation process was widely utilized in the territorial boundaries of the New Spain, formerly Mexico. It can be affirmed with certainty that the agave plant and the boiling process are by historical precedent, vernacular elements of the prehispanic culture of Tiquila. The traditional procedure was only affected at its final stage by the Spanish distillation process. Referring to the distillation process, it can be affirmed that its existence was achieved through the intervention of the Moors in the territories of Andalucia, Espana. The Moors imported into Spain the Arabic process which would eventually reach the New Continent. By acknowledging the historical merge it can be stated that Tequila represents a beverage of mixed identities.

The Tequila as a distillate product received more intervention from Spain than from the vernacular prehispanic tribes. The reason stands in the fact that Spain intervened in the commercialization and land control of the New Spain.” http://www.tequilaplanet.com/Learn_tequila.htm

So, DeeDee G-Blase picked a product of classic European colonialism modified by Arabic Caliphate techniques to be the namesake of her latest political venture.

  11. The non-profit ministry that I’ve been involved with for over five years has done more to help women and especially Hispanic women than DeeDee Garcia Blase has ever done.

    The offer still stands.

When DeeDee Garcia Blase retracts and removes the lies she is telling from her websites, I will pull the posts on Sonoran Alliance.

I have an obligation and duty to tell the truth and counter what Ms. Blase is saying in the public arena.

    • wherewasi says:

Shane, I’d be very interested in knowing about your ministry. Can you either post about here, or post a link to a website, or shoot me an email?

      Thanks!

  12. chickenfarm says:

that was completely ridiculous! Do you see how DeeDee looks visibly hurt and defensive (on the verge of tears) when Jorge says the Tequila party name was embarrassing?
She probably stayed up all night thinking of that name, and was crushed that another latino didn’t approve.

I don’t know much about DeeDee, but the impression I got from that interview is that she has a strong need for attention and validation. But it also appears that her inability to defend her positions or control her volatile temper have kept her from getting the massive support she’s seeking.

    • Heh. It wasn’t idle chatter my other comments about Blase not being representative of Hispanic women, as evidenced by her choice of “Tequila.”

She needed a “beverage” because of “Tea Party” and the Lefties already copycatted with “Coffee Party,” so… what’s left to drink that evokes “Latino” roots? Hmmhmmm. ummm ahhhh.

      Hullooooo Miss Blase!

      Hot Chocolate.

The woman doesn’t even know her history. gah.

  13. As a member of Soy Chicano, we known Deedee before she thought of the idea tequila party and we made of her bc of this type of stuff:
