Democrats Launch Arizona Attack Ad on Mitt Romney

Here is a sample of a video interview used to create a campaign ad. In a day and age when every political appearance is assumed to be video taped, candidates should assume that anything they say will be spliced, diced and spun to benefit their opponent. In this specific case, the Las Vegas Journal Review recently conducted an interview with Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. In the interview, they asked Romney what his proposal would be to solve the housing and foreclosure crisis. Once the clip went live, Democrats seized the opportunity to spin a campaign ad out of an abbreviated version of the clip. Watch both the ad and the unedited full version of the clip and see how Democrats take a statement out of context and use it against the candidate.

  1. Conservative American says:

Democrats have no choice but to attack. It’s the only way to distract from the gargantuan failures of the Obama administration!

  2. p2012p says:

Just a diversion to make him the front runner in the Republican primaries.

    • True Conservative says:

You can put a fork in him. He played the birther card. Mainstream Republicans will never give him the support he needs, and even in a skewed primary there just aren’t enough hard-core wingnuts who vote the birther line, especially now that he’s softened his position.

He needs to either embrace the wingnuts or embrace the traditionalists. Straddling both will not work.

      • wanumba says:

You sure don’t come off as any form of “Conservative” with your constant use of “birthers” “wingnuts” and “tea baggers” and “loony” and “tin-foil.”

Your rhetoric is identical to hard Left radical Democrats. Identical. So, as a lawyer, as you stated what sort of “law” do you do for a living? Or are there three “True Conservatives” we have to ask that question of? Who all want people to turn off their brains and vote for Lewis, based on a campaign consisting of parroting all sorts of stock phrases like, “rule of law” and “Yo. be constitutional” ?

Do sociology classes suggest this works, so that’s why it’s employed?

        • True Conservative says:

True conservatives are tired of you wingnuts.

I know that offends you, and I am geniunely sorry for that.

The whole Birther mess was an embarrisment to our cause, much like the incoherent ramblings found in your latest post.

Everytime there’s a serious issue to discuss the lunatic fringe comes out with a conspiracy theory that makes the rest fo the country laugh at us.

If I were a liberal, I’d just sit back and let the lunatic fringe “keep on truckin’.” You guys are the loony lefts best friends.

I genuinely have no clue what you are declaring or asking. If have a point to make, just make it. If you have a question to ask, just ask it.
