So another State Senator just happens to inform a police officer of his importance. Sounds familiar; think there’s still a case pending over another senator who tried the same thing a few months back.
Lawmakers become lawbreakers and then it’s the law-enforcers fault. Hmmm
Pinal County Supervisor Pete Rios.
He’s NOT a Senator anymore and legitimate questions have been raised about exactly WHERE Mr. Rios maintains his principle residence. He was receiving mileage reimbursement from “residences” in various locations in Pinal County, quite away from Phoenix (as a Senator, but actually living in Apache Junction).

What I would like to know is did they cite him, or did they just let it go with no ticket? Come on Channel 5 – tell us the whole story as you always say.! Just curious to see if he got off with a warning! We all well know that we would not have!!

Rios has never seen a cop he doesn’t like. Just check his record.
And what did he expect. Not stopping for a police officer in a major drug cartel area. Weak, weak, weak.
Pete is a good man. He still carries a chip on his shoulder from his perceived slights as a child on how he was treated by the nuns and the city officials.
