Congratulations to Barbara Espinosa and co-host Randy Pullen on taking their radio show to the next level. In this case, Barbara is taking her show to the streets, literally! Go Barbara!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 9, 2011
CONTACT: Barbara Espinosa
In an unprecedented move this week, “Hair on Fire” conservative radio talk show host Barbara Espinosa took to the streets of Phoenix with 4 x 4 road signs to advertise the 7 PM Wednesday night radio broadcasts on KFNX 1100 AM news talk radio. The show features long time political activist Barbara and her co-host Randy Pullen, former chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, as they discuss the latest political news and intrigues with elected officials, political operatives and newsmakers from around the country.
The Hair on Fire signs appear next to many candidate signs on street corners as the 2011 election season in Arizona heats up. Look for the signs and join other listeners as Barbara and Randy make sense out of political dust storms in Arizona!

Nobody cares
Do they have permits for those signs or are they illegal?
Thanks Sonoran Alliance..
Thank you, Mrs. Espinosa, and your partner Randy Pullen, for working hard to get a conservative message out to the people of Maricopa County. That is an important job, and critical to our survival.
Don’t even consider that the Sonoran Alliance “moderates” are so inbred and paranoid that they will constantly criticize and try to ridicule any attempt to deliver a true conservative message to the unwashed masses. As long as you continue down the conservative path, they will continue to experience total loss of bladder control. Keep up the good work.
God bless America, and conservatives like Randy and Barbara.
Cute. Barbara is running for top political radio talk show. The city is awash in campaign signs from candidates and propositions. We are only missing Susie Sushui signs with cute quips like:
Joe tipped pink boxes
Russell checked our kitchen help
Sal’s recalling himself to raise $$
Politicians don’t tip well
Tea Party drinks Coffee
and
Liberal Suck Down Lattes
Im just asking about the freakin signs. I own a landscape business and when I put up just a couple of signs in the wrong spots, I got ticketed. I guess the law only applies to certain people like me.
What part of illegal dont you understand!
Bob, political signs are treated differently than commercial ones. Go figure.
The radio show is not a campaign/ political enterprise. It is a business.
Bob, politics is also a business. Remind me to fix this problem sometime.
“Hair on fire”? What is this, a 1980′s Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson? Nobody even knows it’s for a RADIO SHOW because the lettering on the signs is so flippin’ small. If nobody even knows it’s for a RADIO SHOW, how will they know to listen? What a tremendous waste of money. Fiscal conservative my foot.
Unprecedented? That’s a stretch considering that there’s not one thing left that hasn’t been done to promote a radio show. Absolutely horrible branding – either they had no marketing advice or the only advice they got was from that train wreck of a station they’re on.
Take your GD signs down now! They are illegal (irony), you don’t have a permit to put them up.
Its a 1000 dollar fine per sign.
And 1100 KFNX? Really? You would get more listeners if you parked in the street and talked.
Stop breaking the law with your illegal signs.
Barbara Espinosa, We love listening to your show, even though we don’t agree with you on every issue, however, it seems like on every one of your shows you allow a guy named James to call in and critisize Robert, or as James calls him Bobby E. Lee, about his opinion on some options on how to secure the border. On one of your recent shows, we heard James make physical threats against Robert, and you alowd James to continue his rant. We all know that James is pretty much a one trick poney, and he has admitted that he employes at least one illegal allien, and this is why he is on Robert’s case, because Robert has served as a minute man on the Mexican border to help stop the invasion of illegal alliens, and middle eastern terroists into Arizona. When Robert calls in to your show, he seems to have a different subject to talk about every time, and even though we don’t agree with him on every issue, we enjoy hearing his opinion, but everyone knows that James is a one trick poney, and seems unable to talk about anything, except insulting and making physical threats against one of your listeners, who may patronize your sponsors. The next time James calls in will you please ask him to talk about some other issue besides his Bobby Lee rant? We are really getting board with this nonsense. Don’t you have more important issues to talk about rather than letting James insult, and make physical threats against one of your listeners, on every one of your shows, who may be patronizing many of your sponsors, about a subject, that frankly in our opinion, is really geting old?
