Where’s the Beef?

Tucson has been the butt of many jokes and a whole lot of animosity throughout this state.

The Rio Nuevo debacle.  A $65 million dollar choo-choo train to drive through the Rio Nuevo debacle. FBI seizures, maybe criminal charges against our elected officials.  Reports of Voter Fraud.  Can anyone say Bell California?

Well it’s not over yet folks…

Enter side door left:  Ron Asta – Republican candidate for Mayor.  Tucson.  Again.  Well, not quite again.  In 1983 he was the democratic candidate who lost to Lew Murphy.  He was elected as a democrat to the Pima County Board of Supervisors from 1973 to 1977.

OK, not enough reason to say he is not fit to run for office…  I understand…  So how about this.

In August of 1994 he killed Jennifer Reeves.

He has had over a dozen traffic violations.  Google it.  It’s all there.

It hardly makes the fact that he took a steak and shoved it down his pants in a grocery store worth mentioning does it?  Well, shoplifting while drunk is one of those mistakes we can learn from I suppose.  Brings an entirely new meaning to “Where’s the Beef”.

Please Mr. Asta for the sake of your victim’s family withdraw from the race and go quietly.

  2. Gah,
A Democrat. He doesn’t even qualify as a RINO.

The Arizona Republican Party has a recently convicted SEX OFFENDER working as a “consultant” to Chairman Tom Morrissey. I guess Mark Spinks gets a free pass from constitutional conservatives since he lives in Ahwatukee instead of Tucson.

Our party deserves to go to hell for the hypocrisy we sanction and encourage. We keep trying to sell the idea of family values when, in reality, we have none.

Why can’t we stand up against sex offenders the same way we stand up to runaway government spending or abortion?

    Shane?

      Pima Cotton…

Can you help me out a bit. I can not find a registered sex offender in the State of Arizona under that name.
      http://www.azdps.gov/Services/Sex_Offender/

I found the articles, but want to see if you have information I am not finding. Or if you are referring to his No Contest plea on indecent exposure as being a sex offender?. (not excusing him, just wanting to clarify and verify)

        High Noon…

Sure I can help you out. Mark Spinks is a CONVICTED sex offender.

Contrary to popular belief, thousands of CONVICTED sex offenders are NOT required to register as sex offenders. Many people mistakenly believe that every pervert is a “registered sex offender” found on the AZ DPS website you cited. You clearly do not understand Arizona law.

The Supreme Court of Arizona has published the statutory requirements for those CONVICTED SEX OFFENDERS who are ALSO required to register. http://azcourts.gov/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=iqj4NW0luWY%3D&tabid=1930

Many registered sex offenders routinely petition the court to change the terms of his/her probation so he/she will no longer be required to register as a sex offender. That, alone, does not change the fact that he/she is a CONVICTED sex offender.

Thousands of pervs, like Mark Spinks, are walking the streets, preaching from the pulpit, consulting for the Republican Party , etc.

Clarify and verify all you want. Check ARS Title 13, chapter 14. Indecent Exposure is listed as a criminal sex offense. According to the City of Phoenix and the Supreme Court of AZ, Spinks was originally charged w/ NINE counts. Public records say he pleaded guilty to one count.

Talk to the prosecutors or the ladies who were the victims of pervert Mark Spinks if you have any more questions.

Darn, Pima Cotton beat me to the punch. I was going to suggest Mr. Asta get a job in Tom Morrissey’s regime, since a criminal record seems to be a requirement of employment there.

  5. Mike Tyree says:

Mr. Asta is a Demacrat not a Rebublican. Leave the race!!!
