AZ Political Interviews with David Nolan, the Libertarian Alternative to McCain

Some conservative Republicans are incredibly unhappy with the nomination of John McCain to be our U.S. Senator. We know full well that he lied through his teeth during the campaign, posturing as a conservative, when he’s demonstrably not. Not only do we know full well that the traitor (to Republican principles) will throw off his disguise as soon as he’s elected and take a hard left, but he, or his staff, continues to wage war on conservative activists within the party while simultaneously and disingenuously trying to sell unity. I’m not buying it. Coming from John McCain, I know it’s snake oil. For that reason, he’ll get no quarter or respite from me.

If, like me, there’s no way you’re going to vote for the Democrat in Disguise that’s our Republican nominee, there’s alternatives. One of the alternatives is David Nolan, the Libertarian candidate. However, there are some bright-line differences between Libertarians and Republicans…perhaps stark enough to prevent some conservatives, especially social conservatives, from voting for a Libertarian. See for yourself: I’ve linked to my AZ Political Interviews show with Mr. Nolan. Make up your own mind. It’s an audio interview. Enjoy.

  1. Kelley: “For that reason, he’ll get no quarter or respite from me.”

    Quarter? Respite?

Please let us know if McCain ever asks for either from you.

I’ll just be over hear laughing my head off…

  2. I like many will never cast a vote for McNasty. I wrote in John David (JD) Hayworth. Try as might I could not vote Democrat, even holding my nose. But I do believe the Democrat will be no different then McSlime. I am still mad about the vile nasty campaign McLiar ran against JD, and the pathetic whinning, see I am not a racist campaign he ran against the Socialist Obama.

  3. Marcus Kelley says:

    Travis: blah, blah, blah, blah.

Hey, if McCain isn’t so paranoid about conservatives, why does he do his best to attack them? Rob Haney? Rachel Alexander, etc.?

  4. Your list of “conservatives” is a joke (and I include you and partially exclude Shane because I think he’s going to recover).

McCain’s list of conservatives is longer, has more integrity and intelligence and quite frankly beat the pants off of you lunatics.

I can’t believe that’s your list of conservatives and that you contend that McCain is “paranoid” of them. I can’t type anymore because I’m laughing so hard!!!

  5. Marcus Kelley says:

To steal a phrase from you, Travis,
quote #4 tells us all we need to know about you: you’re nothing but a liberal wearing the tag “Republican”. You like big government. You think the Lindsey Grahams, Olympia Snowes and Susan Collins of the Republican Party are awesome and ignore the fact that liberal Republicans cost us the majority in 2006 & the Presidency in 2008. You also ignore the fact that conservatism gave us Reagan’s victories and the 1994 Republican Revolution. You ignore the fact that moderate Republicans have been alienating conservatives and that’s why many have left the party to become Independents.

Let me ask, if McCain isn’t paranoid of the conservatives I listed, why did McCain run Fife Symington against Rob Haney for LD 11 chair? Why did his camp attempt to cast Tom Husband from power? Why did McCain’s camp engage in personal attacks against Shane and Rachel during the primary? Why is it McCain’s camp is currently ACTIVELY trying to ensure Shane is unemployed? See, I have FACTS, Travis. All you’ve got is BS.

NO ONE who supports McCain is a true conservative, they’re all big-government types. Frankly, that means they have no integrity or smarts because they’re clinging to something that has PROVEN to be poisonous to the party. The fact that you think that hard-working, dedicated conservatives are lunatics just goes to show the depth of your depravity, myopia and benightedness. I suggest you join the Democrat party. That way, when McCain makes the switch, you’ll be there to welcome him with open arms.

Travis, you’re a moron, a troll and you’re dead wrong…just like “Todd” in every respect. You’re impervious to logic and revel in ignorance. Therefore, I’m done with you. I’m not wasting any more time on you.

  6. Marcus #5 – What an immature rant. I don’t have to provide “facts”. My statements are my opinion and I don’t hold them up for approval. I’m not asking anyone to join my little group. I’m not trying to start my own little revolution. I’m not trying to hurt others like you. I’m trying to make America and my own little corner of the world better. I’m a conservative Repubulican. I’m more conservative than you. I hold all the same beliefs that you do – but I don’t act like a maniac.

You don’t know a thing about what I believe and based on the simple fact the I support John McCain – as do the VAST majority of conservative Republicans across the nation – you choose to have a complete melt down and call names and say things about me that are completely untrue. You have done this mostly because I support John McCain and I stand against the tyranny of Rob Haney, Tom Husband, Randy Pullen and others. It has nothing to do with what they believe. It has everything to do with how they act – and how you act. You have continuously ranted like a lunatic and made no sense. You do not help the conservative cause at all.

I have to respond, also, to the truly ridiculous statement you made above about the “attempt to cast Tom Husband from power.” If you think that statement is OK, there’s something wrong with you. Tom Husband lost his seat because he lost an election. He then tried to blame Vernon Parker and has acted like a maniac at meetings ever since. People know Tom is a fool. If you want to support that, go ahead, but Tom has acted like a mean power-hungry idiot for years and if he was “cast from power” – he can try to change it and get elected again like a sane person or he can join someone else who was “cast from power.”

If you ignore me, it will only mean you will embarrass yourself less. Of course, I will continue to comment because…well, because I can.

  7. I’m voting for the stinkin’ Democrat. McSlimebag would be a lame duck Senator and his true BLUE colors would show. Might as well have a Dimwit in office.
