Rick is in over his head coming back to the County Attorney’s Office. He was always a country club Republican, pat yourself and your cronies on the back type of guy. Don’t think he’s up for the media scrutiny of this era. You can’t get away with that kind of stuff anymore. Trying to cover up for the slimy Supervisors and hiring campaign staff then taking website photos doesn’t cut it anymore. The state is out of money, and taxpayers are sick of abuses like this. I hope Bill Montgomery wins. We need someone who will stand up to the big-spending, unchecked Supervisors and stop them from getting away with everything. Bill is that guy.
This is really weak.
A bunch of unsubstantiated claims to the backing of overcaffinated music by a anonymous blogger.
Your hatred for Romley is getting really boring at this point.
OMG!!! Rick used a picture of himself on his campaign website!!!
I heard that one time, like 10 years ago, Rick brought in Krispy Kremes for the staff at the County Attorney’s office, and then asked the county to reimburse him EIGHT DOLLARS for the cost of the donuts.
It’s TRUE! An anonymous blogger told me.
Is that the kind of person we need running the County Attorney’s office? I think not.
Bill Montgomery would NEVER bring in donuts for the staff. He’s too conservative.
If this piece (youtube video) wasn’t so pathetic, I’d be laughable…an unknown blogger cherry picking some nonsense about how Rick Romley uses his own picture for “campaign purposes”…and then quotes from some source from 2007 (when Mr. Romley wasn’t even in office) that illegal immigration is “bad”. Where’s the beef? Where’s the relevance? Where’s the facts that relate to ANYTHING at all?
Yep! If it weren’t so pathetic, this would be laughable. What sophomoric clown dreamed up this one?
I, along with others who read this blog with a mixture of anger and disgust over posts like this, can only hope this rag folds after all of their candidates lose.
Romley has a long history of lavish spending on himself at taxpayer expense. Remember his infamous wood-paneled Taj Mahal office remodel?
He better enjoy it while he can.
You know what’s lavish – those Krispy Kremes he bought in 2002! And that official photo there. That’s pretty lavish too.
If what they have produced this far is the best they have, ROMLEY has my vote! I’m all for anyone that’s not in Arpiao’s back pocket!
Krispy Kremes! OMG, that proves he’s a secret Muslim. Let’s all go down to the County Attorney’s offices and protest!
NO MORE KRISPY KREMES!
STOP TAKING PICTURES! THE CAMERA STEALS YOUR SOUL!
Vote for Bill Montgomery. He is a true Patriot Conservator. I know both guys and Bill is the one to vote for.
Wait, was this about Thomas or Romely? I’m confused, all those general allegations (aside from illegal immigration) have been well documented on the former.
But we all know how immigration enforcement is Thomas’ pet project, and slanders any who oppose him with opposing AN1070 too.
Is this video evidence of his chosen replacement following suit? Oh boy…
When Romley was appointed Interim County Attorney I thought Bill Montgomery was going to have to raise a lot of money to spread the word on how soft Rick Romley is on illegal immigration.
But instead Romley did it himself, urging a veto of 1070, shutting down enforcement of employer sanctions, and finding any excuse possible to take the soft route on illegal immigration.
I always voted for Romley before, but not this time. Montgomery already has my vote…
@otasan – how much do you charge to be an apologist for Romley? Law enforcement doesn’t think much of him, either: http://mesampa.com/blog/?p=643
I supported Rick Romley, but I felt no animosity toward Bill Montgomery. Going out on a limb, I predict that Bill M. will surprise certain people as he will grow more independent. I think those most surprised will be the High Sheriff and his crew. West Point has a way of instilling high standards in its graduates.
