They’re reporting that CNN will be there.

  2. Jason says:

Will I be able to return on Wednesday for a free car wash after JD loses?

  3. Political Hack says:

Jason – You are such a douche.

  4. Joe says:

The car wash on Wednesday won’t be free. JD will need a paying job.

  5. nightcrawler says:

Please don’t take this the wrong way..

Vote JD to the non-political person can just as easily mean vote Jim Deakin.

You are taking it for granted the public knows what you mean, not everyone watches FOX.

    Vote Hayworth would be better..

  6. Mason says:

I can’t help thinking with some of the media attention and the lack of polling the last few weeks that this race is closer than last polled.

  7. Joe M says:

There has been no polling since JD hit statewide airwaves with his TV ads. So far the rate of returns on the early ballots has been low, which indicates people are waiting to sort out all of the information before casting their vote. McCain has endorsed Rick Romley for County Attorney. Despite McCain giving soft support for SB 1070, this gives us all indication that the McCain who supports amnesty is not far away. My vote goes to JD as well as many people I know who are registered Independents and have supported McCain in the past. Tuesday will be very interesting.

  8. Frank S. says:

2005 CENSURE OF McCAIN BY ARIZONA REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY

WHEREAS, Senator John McCain is presently co-sponsoring, together with his Democrat soul-mate, Senator Teddy Kennedy, a Bill to Reform the Immigration Policy of the United States promoting amnesty for illegal aliens and for their U.S. employers, thus ignoring the opinions of his constituents expressed in numerous polls and personal pleas; and

WHEREAS, Senator McCain deserted the ranks of the Republican Party and the Leadership of the U.S. Senate on the issue of limiting the filibuster of judicial nominations, some of which have been on-hold for several years, thus stalling the President’s agenda for judicial reform; and

    WHEREAS, Senator McCain led the Democrat Party in “reforming” campaign finance, providing for a clear usurpation of 1st Amendment free speech rights during the last 60 days of an election campaign, and leading to an orgy of spending in the 2004 elections;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arizona Republican Assembly (ARA) officially and publicly censures Senator John McCain for dereliction of his duties and responsibilities as a representative of the citizens of Arizona; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the ARA strongly urges State Republican Party Chairman, Matt Salmon, the Arizona State Republican Party and its County and Legislative District affiliates to officially and publicly express their displeasure with Senator McCain by means of a public censure; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be sent to the Chairman of the State Republican Party, to all Republican County and Legislative District Chairman and be issued as a Press Release to the media.

  9. VSB says:

Jason, I think “Political Hack” meant that he needs to use douche water to clean JD’s name off of cars…

  10. VSB says:

“2005 CENSURE OF McCAIN BY ARIZONA REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY”

LOL! That censure was so effective that John McCain only went on to win the Arizona Republican Presidential Primary, the Republican Presidential primary overall, and the state of Arizona in 2008! LOL!

The Arizona Republican Assembly is just another echo chamber that does nothing to get Republicans elected…

2006 CENSURE OF HAYWORTH BY THE VOTERS OF CD5

    Harry Mitchell * -101,838
    J.D. Hayworth -93,815

  12. Horst Kraus says:

    VSB,
You are absolutely right on but you are much too polite it was exactly their action, mostly fueled by the warmed over left overs of the Klan’s Brothers and Bircher’s that weakened McCain just enough to have Obama get into the White House. The ARA hasn’t figured that one out yet, and most likely never will.

  13. KL says:

    @VSB
    Re 2008 AZ GOP Primary
Of the major contendors in the race
    McCain 255,197
    Others 258.837+
McCain won with 47% of the vote. A majority of AZ Republicans voted against McCain.

  14. LD17 says:

The carwash after JD loses won’t be free. Both JD and Shane will need paying jobs after JD loses.

    _____

    Mr. Sour Kraut:

    Wake up!

It’s time John McAmnesty took ownership of the fact that he lost the race for the presidency because he confused the American public by bamboozling them into thinking Maobama was a “good family man” and patriotic American, with only their best interests in mind.

In other words, McLame diffused the early warning, instinctual radars of the average concerned American, and let the enemy storm the gates…

It wasn’t the Birchers or patriots or ultra-conservatives that handed Obamao the presidency, unfortunately there’s simply not enough of them — yet, it was John McWaffler himself, who campaigned for Father Ho-bama.

Complicit, too, were McCain’s incompetent, overpaid political advisers who were too afraid of losing their fat paychecks instead of telling John the truth and squaring him away. Strange irony how unreality exacts a price in the end…

It’s my hope that McAmnesty fires all his political advisers after this election, since they’ve failed him, and the American people, for the last time.

Most memorable moment of the campaign: watching JD Hayworth hand McAmnesty his a** during the debates, forcing McShame to finally act like a conservative.

That, alone, made the Senate race worth it.

  16. Ron says:

    VSB,
ARA represents the Republican wing of the Republican Party. For you to disparage them is to identify yourself as a RINO.

ARA jump started a cascade of opposition against McCain that began with 2 recall movements in 2001 (ended only out of respect to 911).

Four Republican leadership groups either censured or criticized McCain in 2005.

When McCain went to Mesa CC that year to supposedly “make nice” with East Valley Republicans, he had to walk through a gauntlet of Republicans in opposition to him.

He is a flawed and wounded career politician with no integrity among those in his party who still assign value to integrity.

If McCain was a man of virtue, integrity, and honor, he would win the primary with 71 percent of the vote. In fact, he was at 71 percent approval rating before ARA and other Republicans started complaining about his deplorable work in the Senate.

“2006 CENSURE OF HAYWORTH BY THE VOTERS OF CD5

Hayworth has been evaluated by the voters and was found lacking. Car wash seems appropriate for his next career.

  18. Jim's Shipmate says:

“Most memorable moment of the campaign: watching JD Hayworth hand McAmnesty his a** during the debates, forcing McShame to finally act like a conservative. ”

Look at their voting records – JD and John are the McSame.

  19. Jim's Shipmate says:

“Vote JD to the non-political person can just as easily mean vote Jim Deakin”

    Sweet!
