Grassroots Interviews with Scottsdale City Council Candidate Guy Phillips

Tonight, I interviewed Guy Phillips, a conservative candidate for Scottsdale City Council. There’s six people in the race running for three open seats and that somehow avoids a primary (three Republicans and three Democrat candidates?), so, Mr. Phillips’ name will be on the November 2nd ballot. I wish him a lot of luck. City politics aren’t known for conservatism and neither is Scottsdale. We need conservatives in office at ALL levels of government.

We’re Just Not Seeing Results

By Jane 001

American people don’t want more stimulus from Capital Hill. We can’t be more clear about our disdain for stimulus bills and our desire for government spending to go on lock-down. Nevertheless, the U.S. Senate advanced another $26 billion jobs stimulus bill on Aug 5. GOP Senators had been successful with a filibuster until Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine did their usual dance across the aisle.

The U.S. Senate is advancing spending bills with the speed of a runaway freight train. Although, there’s at least one seasoned GOP veteran in that body who could rally perennial defectors like Snowe and Collins. Some say he’s so effective, no other living Arizonan can be trusted with the job. Despite being tagged as a political tactician, John McCain’s lack of influence with his colleagues is glaring. We can’t count the number of times the Snowe-Collins script has been played. A true tactician would have solved this riddle by now and performed the statesman-like magic in his possession. But there is no magic; and neither are there results.

Maybe John McCain does his best work with Democrats. It’s fine if he enjoys crossing the aisle. But what good is it for someone to cross the aisle when he can’t go across the hall and secure a couple of votes!

New Prolife Arizona issues prolife candidate ratings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CONTACT: David Roney, PAC Chair
(480) 949-6020
prolifearizona@gmail.com

ProLife Arizona, the new prolife organization in Arizona, has just released the results of its candidate surveys. ProLife Arizona was started by former Arizona Right to Life PAC Chair David Roney, as a result of detrimentally misleading endorsements coming from another prolife organization regarding Arizona races.  ProLife Arizona rates candidates solely based on their actual prolife positions, and not political influence, nor contributions. “I was very disappointed when another Arizona prolife organization endorsed John McCain over JD Hayworth, as well as their choices in a few other races.  “John McCain has championed taxpayer-funded embryonic stem cell research, which is abhorrent to the prolife community. JD Hayworth is a far better choice for the unborn, ” ProLife Arizona Chairman David Roney said.  “It was just time for an organization to provide facts to the public so voters can make their own decisions.”

ProLife Arizona is composed of mostly former leadership from Arizona Right to Life. Any candidate for office in Arizona who has not yet taken the survey can get it on the website, ProLifeArizona.com.

John McCain Again Turns to Homosexual Mark Buse to Lead Re-Election Campaign

McCain has a long history of flip-flopping on gay marriage

Yet veers to left in Senate reelection campaign by hiring homosexual lobbyist to run campaign

Looks like John McCain is veering back to the left already on gay marriage, having hired an openly gay lobbyist to manage his campaign, Mark Buse. This is more in line with his wife and daughter’s views, who openly opposed California’s Prop. 8 ballot initiative which stated that marriage is between a man and woman. Cindy McCain has a photo of her opposing that initiative as her Twitter profile picture, and both women have campaigned against it. It is clear McCain doesn’t want the Christian conservative vote.
