Horne trying desperately to hide his pro-amnesty record
Resorts to suing Arpaio to try and shut down powerful television
Breaking news….we have just heard that liberal Republican Tom Horne has filed a complaint against Sheriff Joe Arpaio over this television ad we sent out earlier today to try and get it taken off the air. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it, do it now. Horne’s record on amnesty and other issues can be found at the website http://www.thetomhornetruth.com/ According to the site,
The East Valley Tribune reported on February 14, 2007 that Horne has a “plan” to grant American citizenship to illegal immigrants who meet certain educational requirements. According to the Tribune, “Horne has a plan that would reward high school graduates with citizenship. All they would have to do is pass a test. “If there’s a standardized test that confirms it, that the student does well and learned, I would have no objection to that” Horne said.

The Horne plays the blues
If he wasn’t such a Hornedog out having affairs on his wife including a very well-publicized one with a subordinate at the Dept of Ed, maybe he would have more support.
The higher the stakes for “tests” then the higher the stakes for cheating.
Important: if you or I file a frivolous lawsuit or complaint like Horne has that’s one thing. But for a guy running for state’s top law enforcement job to engage in…wait for it…tomfoolery! like this is a real problem.
This may typical of Mr. Horne’s attitude: Let’s litigate before we try to mediate! Not even in office and he’s filing lawsuits. A man’s actions say everything about his character. The rational response would be to simply rebut the points made in the marketing piece. OHHH NOOO-the best response is a stinking lawsuit! Sounds the kid that was beaten up and went home to his mommy!
The important aspect about this whole political process is to get “under the skin” of the candidates and try to find out what they are really and truly like. And now we know what Mr. Horne is really and truly like. He seems to have remembered the concept of:
“If you cannot dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with your BS”
Our vote still goes to Andy Thomas-a man of high ethics, incredible devotion, and a sincere desire to simply prosecute those (often in high places!) that break the law. THAT is the kind of man I look forward to seeing in the AG’s chair on the day after the election.
Tomfoolery? I think he tried to Horneswoggle the voters into thinking he’s a prosecutor. Sound like he is against the first Amendment just like he is against the second Amendment. Cry baby can’t stand someone telling the truth about him.
Liberals like Tom Horne are trying to undo all the progress the Sheriff has made. Joe is starting his campaign early in anticipation of the attacks from the McAmnesty crowd. How dare he name names.
Go back and play with your girlfriend Tom Horne. We don’t need your kind.
The Horne hits a sour note
Horne should stick to his piano playing. Imagine being against Joe Arpaio and claiming he is for secure borders! Horne is scary.
He does not display either good character or judgment. It is time for him to retire to his little house and entertain his friends. His music is too dischordant for the rest of us.

Slandering lies are not the answer Arizona needs. Slander and falsities are not fitting for a Sheriff who is supposed to be a role-model to Arizona’s youth, families, and communities.
Slander is what Andrew Thomas speaks.
FACT: Mike Hellon, a 2002 National GOP Committeeman, wrote a letter to Andrew Thomas stating if he didn’t stop lying about the people he ran against, the GOP would have nothing to do with him due to his misleading and unethical character.
FACT: Andrew Thomas wrote a book in 1996 entitled, “The Rise of the Homeless” where he delineates the worth of the homeless down to nothing as if they are the parasites of our society.
FACT: Andrew Thomas wrote a book entitled, “Crime and the Sacking of America” where he belittles the Black Community saying there needs to be a genetic study to determine why the Black Community commits such a high rate of crime.
Arizonans will never believe the outright lies Andrew Thomas is spreading about Tom Horne. He has printed signs that erroneously say Tom Horne is for abortion, and his campaign materials grotesquely lie saying he’s for amnesty.
I’ve attended the Fox Grill Debate, viewed the Channel 8 Horizon Debate, read Thomas’ misleading/non-truthful mailers, and listened to the outright lies at a local Tea Party event last Saturday.
The truth is:
Truth: Tom Horne has never been for amnesty.
Truth: Tom Horne has never been for abortion on demand.
Truth: Tom Horne is for Parental School Choice.
Truth: Tom Horne is for Tuition Tax Credits.
Truth: Arizona’s nationally normed achievement tests are above the national average on the Terra Nova, ACT, and SAT tests.
Truth: Tom Horne can participate in the Securities Exchange as a private citizen.
Tom Horne holds an AV rating amongst fellow lawyers and judges. That’s the highest rating a lawyer can hold pertaining to ethics and skills.
Andrew Thomas has a B rating.
Unfortunatley Andrew Thomas paired up with Joe Arpaio, who also is spreading this lie saying Tom is for amnesty, utilizing $400 thousand dollars in commercial ads.
Andrew Thomas protects Joe Arpaio. But both of them are lying about Tom Horne.
I’ve always supported and respected Joe Arpaio until now.
Shame on Arpaio and Andrew Thomas for lying aboout Tom Horne falsely saying he’s for amnesty when he’s not, just in an attempt to achieve two seats of power together … the wrong way.
It matters how you get there.
Nancy Pelosi was wrong when she said it didn’t matter “how” we got there regarding National Healthcare as long as we just “got there.”
Stand corrected Pelosi. It does matter “how you get there,” and that’s a strong indicator of “what you’ll do” once you’re in.
Shame on Joe. I stood up for him when my neighbor, the DPS officer, told me Joe is arrogant and does racially profile. My daughter served him dinner at his Catholic Church in Fountain Hills, I bought his pink underwear at the Fountain Hills Art Fair, I called him asking him how to vote on a recent propositon. I donated household items, to his MASH UNIT, to auction off to help the animals he rescues, etc.
Never again.
Joe, you have shown your true colors.
They are very ugly.
And why do you lie?

Tom Horne has many people who love him dearly. Male and female. It’s an awesome, beautiful thing, and he’s a richly blessed man for it!! I’d have to fair sir, that you don’t have that, and that’s a shame.

If Britt is an example of a Horne(dog) supporter, Thomas has it made.
A lawyer who “forgot” he filed bankruptcy and then files multiple government mandated reports that he has never filed for bankruptcy needs a lawyer for himself.
That extended monologue was an interesting convergence of Biblical piousness without any actual piety.
All we noted about Horne is that under his education stewardship, after duking it out for 47th ranking, Arizona’s now duking it out for last place in national academic achievement.
Hauling it up to abysmal 46th would have been an improvement around here, and how hard would THAT have been? One crappy ranking slot against other crappy states education non-achievement?
Noo. Worse.
What does Horne think a frivelous lawsuit against Sheriff Joe is going to get him, except more problems. If it’s too hot, get out of the kitchen.
This childish act will just turn more voters against him.
