Some woman named “Linda” called in to the Barry Young Show on KFYI this morning and spoke to Barry Markson (filling in for Youn) and said that she didn’t like JD Hayworth because he was not respectful towards John McCain.
Either “Linda” is just plain ignorant or she was being completely deceptive because, her comments were simply not true. In fact, let me remind Linda about who among the candidates is the least respectful.
Throughout the campaign, John McCain has dressed staffers up in a pig costume to follow JD Hayworth around wherever he speaks. As recent as Monday, McCain’s pig staffers were at a press conference in which JD Hayworth received the endorsement of 16 TEA Party organizations.
And Linda, if you recall, it was John McCain who called JD Hayworth a “pig” during the final minutes of the second debate in Tucson.
Throughout the campaign, JD Hayworth has been very respectful of John McCain. Ask anyone who has attended his town halls and they will tell you that he honors the service of John McCain but is respectful in pointing out their differences and honestly, that is what campaigns are about.
So before another John McCain shill calls JD Hayworth “disrespectful,” perhaps they ought to remember that John McCain has been anything but respectful, has broken Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment and has proven that by spending in excess of $16 Million.
The very sad reality of this race is that John McCain has demonstrated the most unstatesmanlike behavior of his entire political career. Let’s hope the voters put an end to it before he ruins his legacy even more.

Goodness Shane. Enough already. Nobody cares.
And by nobody I mean the number of people voting for JD on the 24th.
I agree, JD spends several minutes over the course of most meetings saying he stands along side most of us that are proud of his service in the military.
So Jacklyn, I presume by your silence that you agree with me that John McCain has been disrespectful throughout the campaign. Glad you concur.
Like I said, if McCain fought Maobama the way he’s fighting Hayworth, he would have been Pres.
The only thing that matters now is that the
“buck” stops at Hayworth.
JD should continue to explain his ten point plan on what he’s going to do for Arizona.
People want to see what he has to offer.
Keep pounding home JD Hayworth’s 10 point plan for Arizona and America!
Good job JD!
I’m calling you out…Your headline is a, to use your words…”simply not true”. It discredits your candidate.
John McCain did not call in, unless of course he now goes by Linda and has perfected a feminine voice. A private citizen with every right to speak her mind called in and expressed her opinion.
Does JD Hayworth have a problem with the opinions of private citizens being expressed on a radio talk-show? Or only HIS opinions? I know that is how he runs his question and answer sessions at meetings.
John McCain did not call Hayworth a pig, he used a commonly referenced analogy.
JD has used his fair share of those in the years…how many youtube clips do I need to post to prove it?
John McCain is not the whiny, petulant candidate who at every turn complains about being treated poorly, made fun of, or whatever latest embarrassment he has brought about.
If JD can’t take it, then get the heck out of the race, quit pretending to be an adult and run off to your mommy. Does he think the Senate will be nice? He is clearly ill-equipped to handle the rigors of being a Senator.
Sorry, McCain’s debate smirk about rolling around with pigs plainly projected a hatred. “Witty” or “clever riposte” wasn’t conveyed.
Maybe it swings well in the McCain bubble, but outside it, people don’t like that kind of talk.
McCain may or may not win the primary. He’s got the bagillions to spend on hiring a crowd, pay for all the media he wants to do the job for him that he brags about. But, it’s obvious what kind of character he has.
Ann, for goodness sakes! Read it again. The headline does NOT say McCain called in…..
I think this may well be indicative of the thinking of many McCain supporter — they just gloss over the facts, and see / read / hear what they want to.
As for the “Pig” issue, it would only taqke one word from McCain to stop that childish behavior……and would have taken only one word to get his staff to stop bashing Palin, the brightest spot in his presidential campaign…with more spunk than he ever exhibited the whole time….
W/respect to “Nasty”, I think it is pretty well common knowledge that McCain has a temper and uses it frequently……
Having called in to KFYI before and talked with the call screener, I wonder if any JD people were turned away or placed at the back of the line…..
HEADLINE:
“And John McCain calls JD Hayworth ‘Disrespectful?!”
Where in the body does it reference McCain calling JD disrespectful? No, it was this:
“Some woman named “Linda” called in to the Barry Young Show on KFYI this morning and spoke to Barry Markson (filling in for Youn) and said that she didn’t like JD Hayworth because he was not respectful towards John McCain.”

Ann: I’m calling you out…Your headline is a, to use your words…”simply not true”. It discredits your candidate.
Me: Looky here: http://tinyurl.com/27ezpnh
Ann: John McCain did not call in, unless of course he now goes by Linda and has perfected a feminine voice. A private citizen with every right to speak her mind called in and expressed her opinion.
Ann: Yeah, OK. Sure…fine…whatever… Just some plain Jane Doe called in off the street. Here is a typical John McCain supporter that I caught near the Hayworth campaign headquarters. I turned his scruffy little body over to Sheriff Joe and his posse for interrogation: http://tinyurl.com/2dt3fue
You: Does JD Hayworth have a problem with the opinions of private citizens being expressed on a radio talk-show? Or only HIS opinions? I know that is how he runs his question and answer sessions at meetings.
Me: Quit whining and get some substantive issues going here. You remind me of Meghan McCain: cute and well-meaning, but a little on the scatterbrained side. Is this you by any chance?: http://tinyurl.com/25b66ok
You: John McCain did not call Hayworth a pig, he used a commonly referenced analogy.
Me: He used the word “pig.” Plus, what is that little piggy doing stalking JD Hayworth everywhere he goes? WTFudge? McCain, the great statesman has Piggly Wiggly harassing Hayworth 24/7/365? How about something more interesting like this: http://tinyurl.com/3x7tqds
You: JD has used his fair share of those in the years…how many youtube clips do I need to post to prove it?
Me: I want to see some Meghan McCain YouTube clips. She’s cute but a little ditzy. You know blond haired and spacey. She means well but needs to get it together a little and reevaluate her liberal leanings and become more Mama Grizzly and Palin-like.
You: John McCain is not the whiny, petulant candidate who at every turn complains about being treated poorly, made fun of, or whatever latest embarrassment he has brought about.
Me: You seem whiny and petulant and childish. Just hush…shhh… There. Nice purring kitty. See? Happiness is easy!
You: If JD can’t take it, then get the heck out of the race, quit pretending to be an adult and run off to your mommy. Does he think the Senate will be nice? He is clearly ill-equipped to handle the rigors of being a Senator.
Me: I think JD can dang handle the rigors of being a dang Senator. He’s about dang big enough to toss out half the dang Senators on their rumps or hurl them gingerly across the Potomac River is he gets angry.
All of these fraudulent, suspect voting polls remind me of Moodys, Standard and Poor’s and Fitch’s ratings agencies that were giving the worst companies A+ financial grades right up until the moment they all collapsed! Go figure!
McCain’s numbers will evaporate as the time draws near and angry Arizona residents get to the polling booths and remember McCain giving us Maobama and trying to give us amnesty through comprehensive immigration reform.
They’ll vote for self-preservation and the preservation of the rule of law, for Arizona and American greatness; hence, they’ll vote for JD Hayworth.
JD is on the right side of history. John McCain picked the last train to Timbuktu when he split from the program some time ago. John McCain is just too dang East Coast Establishment for Arizonans.
You can tell McCain is desperate, he’s now running ads that have him taking on Maobama. The same huckster Socialist McCain said was a great family man and that we shouldn’t fear. Well, once again, McCain was a bad judge of character.
John McCain let the bear into the cabin and now he’s offering to get that bear out. Sorry, no way!
It’s time John retired up in Sedona and fished for Snail Darters with Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn for a while. He deserves the rest. He earned it. We salute his service and want him to chill out and come back to Arizony. Come on back to the cacti and sand lizards and beautiful sunsets. Come back Johnny come home, home on the range!
Leave the driving to Captain Hayworth of the US Phoenix, commander of the Anti- Illegal Alien Starship Command Fleet.
The time is now! The time is Hayworth!
Barry Young, Barry Markson, what’s the difference both are clownish. Talking about a hard-to-listen-to talk show, I heard Markson early this morning and was forced to flip the channel because of his stupid commentary. The Barry Young show can dish it out, but they can’t take it.
Btw, TARP fraud, big tax, big government John McCain is getting all the respect he deserves in this race–hardly any–and that’s sooooo not Hayworth’s fault.
Corrected version…

Sheesh, DSW.
Your site is better than this.
“Someone named Linda called in and said…”
THIS is news?!
I can’t wait for the primaries to be over so that we can get back to bashing the Obamamites instead of each other.
There’s too many friggin Hayworth posts. If Hayworth can’t win in this climate against McCain then it’s Hayworth’s fault, and another 90 posts a day is not going to help him. For God’s sake we all know who John McCain is. If Hayworth is 30-20-10pts. down right now, then what new revelation is going to come out to lift him over the top? It’s his own fault. He shouldn’t have done stupid infomercials; he shouldn’t have taken Abramoff’s money. But he did those things and he should have had a better response then he’s had. Every Hayworth lover should be so angry right now at this false prophet, but they all hate McCain so much they can’t acknowledge that any half-moderate Democrat would destroy Hayworth in a general election. I’m not a McCain lover, I’m a realist. Hayworth is not a conservative. Hayworth is not a closer. Now focus on some other COMPETITIVE races please. And i don’t mean – put up another 44 interviews with Marcus Kelly.

…If Hayworth is 30-20-10pts. down right now, then what new revelation is going to come out to lift him over the top?
_____
The new revelation is this: The polls are wrong. Plain and simple.
Between now and voting time Arizonans have much to ponder, such as JD Hayworth’s focus on his new 10-point plan.
Also, McCain’s anti-Hayworth ads are starting to wear thin.
People want a candidate that will stop amnesty for illegals. McCain is not that candidate. They’ll demonstrate what they really feel come voting time.
The psychology of people is this: Some feel a sense of allegiance to McCain and will voice their support over the phone but will not voice their true desire to see a change.
When they get to the polls they will vote what they REALLY feel but feel uncomfortable expressing to a stranger over the phone, that is, it’s time for McCain to go.
‘Nuff said…
WOW Ann, you put these boys to rest on the subject, impressive!!! I found these comments hilarious, par for the course on this site. I do agree with you, JD can do and say whatever he wants but the second he is called out by someone, he cries like a baby. The ego maniac needs his head filled with fluff from his boys or he crumbles. We already know that JD lost this election before it began, it was only a matter of time that the voters of AZ were informed about JD and his many…many…many shortcomings.
“Throughout the campaign, JD Hayworth has been very respectful of John McCain. Ask anyone who has attended his town halls and they will tell you that he honors the service of John McCain but is respectful in pointing out their differences and honestly, that is what campaigns are about.”
LOL! That’s a big joke! He hasn’t been respectful at all! His tokenistic “honoring” of John McCain’s service is completely phony and sounds completely fake and condescending. And while he starts off that way, he builds up to absolutely savaging McCain by the end of his stump speeches.
Basically, you want to dish it out but you can’t take getting it served back to you!
This whole blog is an example of that too. You have the American Post Gazette savaging people everyday yet you cry like babies when anyone dares to say anything critical about your favored candidates. LOL!
VSB,
HA! Your comment was a joke! JD has been respectful but firm in pointing out the differences. Apparently, you cannot tell the difference between “savaging” and pointing out the facts of a performance or record.
The fact is that John McCain has spent VERY little time talking about his record primarily because he was not there (he was campaigning for President) or because his record for lack of a better word, SUCKS!
JD remains respectful toward our senior senator but it is very difficult for individuals like myself to refrain from calling John McCain what he really is.
If you “love” the American Post Gazette” so much, why don’t you join their email list. I’m not on it and frankly, don’t have time to read their materials but one of our writers thinks it worth posting on occasion.
For those readers following the exchange here in the comments section of Sonoran Alliance, I’ll let the visit our Youtube site and judge for themselves if JD Hayworth “savages” John McCain at the end of every stump speech. The video is there and anyone can see for them self what really happens.
Jim Deakin was right, both McCain and hayworth are BOTH right.
http://www.jimdeakin.com if you want change!
“And John McCain calls JD Hayworth ‘Disrespectful?!’”
Concerning Hayworth’s claimed of 16 Tea party Endorsements! (Any one individual can endorse any candidate they like at the state and federal level, but when two or more endorse or imply they are endorsing a federal candidate, or when the endorsee implies an endorsement from two or more, that endorsement action falls under IRS Regulations for 527 PAC’s as actively attempting to influence the outcome of a federal election.)
How did this Tea Party Group arrive at endorsing Hayworth? A vetting/selection process or individual owner who he himself gave Hayworth an endorsement under name of, where Hayworth is misrepresenting it as a full on legitimate Tea Party endorsement. Are they a 527 PAC?
How about Prescott Tea Party L.L.C., they have two managers and have issued an endorsement where the IRS requires them to be a registered 527 PAC – are they? They (2 or more people) are attempting to influence a federal election as well.
What about #4, 6, 7, 11, 14 & 15 with no record whatsoever on file with the Arizona Commerce Commission let alone declaring their intent – are they legally allowed to influence the outcome of a federal election.
It seems to me we are right back to Hayworth’s comment concerning the infomercial – buyer beware but in this case it’s “VOTER BEWARE”.
As Hayworth said ‘A half truth is a full distortion.’
