HUGE ENDORESMENT FOR McCAIN: The voters of Arizona!

The voters of Arizona have made it clear…in polls and surveys, one after another, they will re-elect John McCain.  Just how wide is the gap between his challenger, the former radio talk-show host, infomercial huckster, and un-elected Congressman Hayworth and the former POW, ranking member of the Senate Armed Forces committee, 2008 GOP POTUS nominee, and esteemed Senator McCain?  Well, apparently it grows daily.
Team Hayworth had high hopes that the long demanded debates would give JD a boost.  It didn’t happen.  In fact, when he strutted his stuff…as only JD can do…on to the stages of Phoenix and Tucson, the whole state saw first hand how the name “Foghorn Leghorn” came to be.  The arrogant demeanor he exhibited did nothing to build his position, in fact, it reinforced what many already had heard but now…saw for themselves.
Senator McCain has been a leader in the Senate in opposing the Obama administration and their flawed policies and agenda for America.  He understands what it takes and has the ability to get it done.
The concept that the value of a Senator is based in “what have they done for Arizona” is reminiscent of the Robert C. Byrd mentality.  One can throw a rock anywhere in West Virginia and hit something named after the most prolific pork bareller of all times.  It is understandable that JD would use such a template for evaluation of success.  He was the highest spending member of our GOP delegation in his time in Congress.

Voters in Arizona know the difference between someone who needs a job and someone who has a job to do.
Yep….the people of Arizona are behind McCain!

McCain widens huge lead over Hayworth

Those who vote for McCain are fools – falling once again for the Obama loving, TARP voting, 1st & 2nd Amendment attacking, amnesty loving, Global warming hoax supporter, Cap & Tax supporter, on & on & on, Dem.

    ………

WHat a joke! WHERE is he vorciferously defending us against being called ‘racists’ and being BOYCOTTED thru every Democratically-held political office and political appointment in the nation and every last one of their syncophants in the media? How come he isn’t on the Washington talky-talky media circuit defending us, bringing public pressure to bear, issuing statements, poundign the podium in the Senate? Rallying the Senate to CHALLENGE this grotesque abuse of Federal power?

Hello? HE’s NOWHERE. He isn’t doing SQUAT for anyone except himself. It’s like he hates us. WTF??

I’m an independent voter, not associated with the Hayworth campaign. I’ve been reading the back and forth for motnhs now and comparing it to McCain’s actions and the quality of the campaign.

WE have a PROBLEM in Arizona, brought down on us by the FEDERAL government, designed to HURT, that’s on the record “PUNISH” Arizona. McCain is sent to WASHINGTON to DEFEND our interests. Arizona is being squeezed, and crushed to SUBMIT to lawlessness. What? WHERE IS HE?
    HE doesn’t CARE.
    SHAME!

    Fix the danged McCain!

Have you seen the polls that point show that Hayworth will lose to a Democrat? So while you all are trying to get a Dem in office by voting for JD, I’m trying to keep the hardest working Republican in office.

    Go McCain!

  4. Stephen Kohut says:

Any incumbant polling around 50% in a contested primary in vulnerable. The problem is that polling of primary voters shows that they do not like JD. McCain fans should not beat there chests too hard, they still have a vulnerable candidate to shove over the finish line. JD fans need to understand that folks don’t like their boy much at all and need to work on that. Deakin supporters need to beat the bushes, GOTV and say to voters that there is an alternative to 40 years of two peas in a pod incumbency.

It’s a contested primary so let’s have some fun while supporting our candidate and convincing voters why they should pick him based on something other than he isn’t one of the other two schmucks.

  5. Ann says:

Humorous how all Lisa James has to post on this blog lately is polls about the race. Everything else about her client John McCain is bad news, so she’s having to resort to repeating polls. Too bad your client is such a RINO flip-flopping dislikable angry vindictive person or you’d have more to write about than repeating polls.

  6. Jacklyn M. says:

Ann, there is already an Ann and he/she doesn’t agree with you.

Neither do the majority of Arizonan’s, apparently.

But thanks for your input Ann.

NEWS FLASH: JD Hayworth on track to lose by 30+ points.

At the Prescott Area Chamber’s Candidate event Mr. Hayworth’s comments were almost cordial and thoughtful toward Sen. McCain.

When it’s all said and done, the most quotable campaign quote from might be “facts are stubborn things”.

JD Hayworth never took time to re-visit his tenure in and out of office and imagine how voters, who fired him 3.5 years ago, would accept him; or not.

Instead he chose to level outrageous accusations against Sen. McCain and jump on the anti-incumbant band wagon.

However his biggest problem, early on and continues to be, is that he has no substance. The only thing more prolific than his bluster is his BS.

His entire anit-immigration diatribe is grounded in a piece of “legislation” that never made it our of committee, much less the floor of the US Congress to be debated and ultimately voted on.

Calling his Enforcement First Act “Failed Legislation” might actually be incorrect.

    Facts are stubborn things.

His one and only attempt came in 2005, the year before Republican voters in CD 5 fired him. So much for his deeply held conviction to secure our borders and work to solve our immigration woes.

In the final analysis, voters who might have found some appeal to his anti- establishment message were forever turned off once they studied his congressional record (or lack thereof) and saw him as a former Congressman turned HUCKSTER in his free money gig.

What Arizona need now are leaders who’ve got the guts and standing to go toe to toe w/ the Obama Administration. JD Hayworth is many things; being a leader is not one of them.

So this is where I encourage Mr. Hayworth’s most ardent supporters to take leave from their alternate universe after 24 August, close ranks w/ Sen. McCain and focus on making Arizona a better state.

    _____

Had John McCain displayed even a modicum of understanding of who Maobama really was, he never would have called him a decent family man, actually campaigning for him while running against him for the presidency.

Yet, he calls JD Hayworth, a fellow Republican, a pig and dumps $16 million in a campaign to stop him.

Had John McCain fought for the presidency like he’s fighting against a real conservative like JD Hayworth, he would have been president now.

John McCain, you’re no JD Hayworth! Here’s the proof:

At this point, I don’t even know why Hayworth is wasting this blog’s time??? Isn’t there more important races to watch now?

  11. wanumba says:

    Molly Pitcher,
My comments were not rhetorical. WHAT is McCain DOING right now to defend Arizona? He is currently one of our senators and is pulling down a hefty paycheck to work for us all.
    This goes beyond this campaign.

  12. SuzanneC says:

Molly, please, McCain has betrayed us for years, and the people of Arizona all over this state have finally realized just what McNasty has done to us not for us. You can quote all the polls you wnat, McCain lost to a Democrat or do you rememebr that? McCain is supporting Deakin to try and keep from losing this race, he can not stand a face to face run up with JD Hayworth. The coward is still coming out in him, remember what he did to the POW/MIA’s? We do.

  13. NotoriousGOP says:

SuzzaneC – “McCain lost to a Democrat or do you rememebr that?”

I really don’t care one way or the other…but Hayworth lost to a Democrat too. McCain lost to a nation-wide marketing campaign pushing millions upon millions of dollars. Hayworth lost to an angry group of neighbors in Tempe with a few bucks between them.
    #Just Sayin…

  14. Hunter says:

The national Democrat Party gave substantial assistance to Mitchell’s campaigns. It wasn’t just a bunch of angry neighbors putting a few bucks together.

    ……….

Uh, huh. McCain didn’t spend the millions donated by REPUBLICANS he had in hand to defeat Obama (D), he blew off Palin who said to campaign in Michigan, listing “funding constraints” amongst his excuses, and is instead using those same millions to defeat Hayworth (R).

Really a metaphor for his entire political career isn’t it?

Am I the only one to notice that Molly has repeatedly taken her ‘polls’ from left-wing sites?

Remember when she cited the discredited R2K poll from the Daily Kos?

    Now she cites TPM.

I encourage everyone to look at the TPM site to see another example of the inspiration for Molly’s posts.

Oh, and McCain is engaging in one of the most expensive campaigns in history, focusing on mudslinging rather than a discussion of policies.

I will never forget McCain telling labor leaders that Americans will not pick lettuce for $50 an hour, which is why we need more aliens in this country.

Also, am I the only one who finds McCain’s description of border security measures strange? If he REALLY wants to build a fence, why does he call it the “darn fence.”

  18. Arizona Luke says:

@ Molly or anybody in McCain’s camp.

Can you please tell him (or his staff) that I am still waiting on a call-back regarding the $50/hr lettuce-picking job in Yuma that McCain promised to give Americans in 2006?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWOZKeOauNI

Forwarding my message and getting the job would be GREATLY appreciated.

    God bless,
