McCain Calls It “Regularize” In Letter
Phoenix, AZ (JULY 16) – The campaign of U.S. Senate Candidate J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) today released a letter from Sen. John McCain in which he writes that illegal aliens in this country must take several steps before they can “regularize their status.”
The April 16, 2010 letter reads: “Considering our national interest in identifying these individuals and our inability to round up and deport all of them, we must provide these individuals with incentives to come forward, complete security background checks, pay any owed taxes and stiff penalties for breaking the law, learn to speak English, and regularize their status.”
The letter is apparently a response to a constituent because it ends with: “Again, thank you for sharing your views with me. Please feel free to contact me on this or any other issue of concern. Sincerely, John McCain, United States Senator.”
Earlier this month McCain proclaimed that his comprehensive immigration reform plan would not include amnesty, saying many of the illegal aliens must return home.
“When I said he was pushing amnesty by any other name, I meant it,” Hayworth said. “He’s just replacing amnesty with this new term regularize.”
“First it is amnesty, then it became comprehensive immigration reform, and now it’s regularize illegal aliens,” he said. ”If re-elected, McCain will take his new term back to Washington and try one more time to ram amnesty for the third time down our throats.”
The Republican Voter IQ test. How many times will you be fooled by the same man? I used to think that Republican Voters were smarter than that.
The results will be available before we know it.
Amnesty means being pardoned for a crime. Reagan instituted amnesty in the 80′s. Punishing people by requiring to pay a fine, etc. is not amnesty and it is a complete misuse of the word.

Rewarding people for criminal activity and applying punishment that does not fit the crime is amnesty in all but name and a travesty of justice.
JD, whatever you do, be sure that you let 70% of the American people who are behind SB1070 know that you are against amnesty, period.
McCain’s talk about not being able to send illegals home is simply unacceptable defeatism.
America never made progress by defeatism and half baked attempts. That we can make progress at sending illegal aliens how and securing our border and honoring those immigrants who do things the right way.
An illegal immigrant is not an immigrant. No more than an illegal drug dealer is a pharmacist or an unlicensed, undocumented doctor is a doctor!
Let McCain know that America doesn’t accept John McCain’s defeatism when it comes to border security and the illegal alien issue.
That citizenship is not given by default but, instead, must not be cheapened but merited.
That 70% of the American people back SB1070 and that is the will of the people.
Also of note is that John McCain’s defeatism led to the election of Obama and our current scary mess.
John McCain will not fight for Arizona, did not fight for the Presidency, will not fight against illegal aliens, is nothing but a compromiser and has learned absolutely nothing from his past behavior.
John McCain’s attacks against JD are not enough. John McCain’s half-baked solutions are not enough.
The time for action is now. The man of action is JD.
JD knows what the American people want and is on the vanguard of what America needs, politically!

If foreigners who entered this country illegally get ahead of foreigners who have been working years and spending a lot of their own money on legal citizenship, then the entire system collapses.
People will consider it idiocy to play by the rules because those who have done it right are being pushed aside in favor of those who have not.
It has been proven that the USG couldn’t even handle the bizarre “Cash for Clunkers” which was miniscule in paperwork and background processing compared to a flood of millions of illegals, with more pouring into the USA to take advantage of an easy gimmick.
The USG (United States Government), despite all promises to the contrary, will rubber stamp by the thousands drug lords, drug lord cartel members and all sorts of criminals who will then presto! have US Constitutional rights, lawyers, courts, on and on. The USG does not have ANY capacity to handle 12 million illegals’ applications.
Not possible.
It is very feasible to encourage people to LEAVE. SB1070, without ANY repressive measures whatsoever, just a stated discipline to enforce exsisting laws has already got people calmly pulling up stakes and exiting.
That’s probably one reason Obama and the Democrats hate it – it’s proof of how easy it is to encourage illegal foreigners to make their own decision to go.

The “our broken immigration” line is pure Democrat and “Let me be very clear:” is practically Obama’s trademark.

The election is over. If it makes you feel better, JD wouldn’t have been able to deport all the illegals either. It will never happen. You would probably need 65 Republican senators and a Republican president to do that (not to mention a Republican House).

A silly little stunt like this is no excuse for a solid campaign or a message people can believe in. The plan to tell them the other guy is awful…but never do a thing to rehabilitate your own image that is so badly damaged was never going to work.

Tonight will be the finishing nails in JD’s political coffin. If his performance at LD17 is any indication, he is on his last nerve. I believe the general consensus was the words “frantic” and “manic” best described him.

SB1070 has nothing to do with being pro or anti amnesty as a) it does not secure the borders and b) it’s enforcement mechanism works the same post-amnesty as it does pre-amnesty.
Sonoran even had a post on this two days ago.

Dunno. Since it looks exactly of the “aged” type quality Dan Rather fobbed off on the public and the Democrats are trying to promote McCain by reminding him thru various media outlets that he’s really one of them on amnesty, maybe it’s a “helpful” Democrat. More Democrats run “fake” campaigns than Conservatives.

Senator McCain works to help people navigate the immigration system. It’s unfortunate that the Hayworth campaign has nothing to stand on and is resorting to nonsense like this.
The broken, unfair and unreliable immigration system is hurting people – including Americans and the American economy. Those who continue to scream, “Amnesty!” everytime someone talks about immigration are ignorant and don’t care about America.
We are a great country. People are going to want to come here. Unless we fix the broken system only those who force their way in illegally will get in.

Now we also learn this week that Obama is meddling in Kenyan national affairs again – seems it’s suddenly of the utmost American strategic geopolitical importance to make sure Kenyans have a Kenyan Constitutional right to abortion.
One wondering if Obama likes Kenyans at all. He averted his eyes at 2,000 dead and 200,000 homeless at the hands of his No. 1 campaign choice, the communist Odinga, and now he wants to be sure Kenyans can abort their babies.

Sorry-o. That’s true. We’ve sat next to bloated women out to 8 1/2 months on airplanes EVERY flight inbound USA.
Not even including Mexicans in on that.
The current system is like bees to honey with free walk-in emergency care, world’s best medical care. If those incoming women had to PAY for it, it’d stop overnight.
On the KFYI home page, they are conducting a survey of their listeners to determine who won tonight’s debate. After I cast my vote for J.D., survey results were revealed. So far, J.D. had 64%, McCain 19% and Deakin a little over 7%. I have to admit, given the McCain support KFYI has provided McCain, it’s refreshing to see that their listeners can call a spade, a spade. J.D. took McCain’s liberal record, wrapped it around his neck and tied it into a nice bow for all to see. McCain has failed our state and has failed our nation. It is time to retire our senior senator and replace him with the capable Mr. Hayworth!!

Just read Pueblo Politics in the AZ Daily Star, they have Brian Rogers, McCain spokesman, trying to define “regularize” not denying the letter, looks like this letter could be legit.

Have you realized that we ALL (except the few ignorant or uninformed) now know what JD stands for, we have heard him speak, we have researched his past and we do know why we are voting against him. It is not the best choice for Arizona to elect JD to Congress, he has a history that is too unstable and a vision that is far too spendy.
