Many conservatives are going to take those whopping McCain poll numbers and use that to justify, with no actual risk of him winning, a vote for JD.

Same applies to Brewer, and Mills. I would include Martin but he endorsed Brewer so voting for him is no protest against Brewer at all.

In the end McCain should be embarrassed he had to fight like a humdinger against sizable elements in his own party to get the nomination.

What a relief.

It seems people are cementing their views just before the early ballots drop.

To a person, they are sticking with McCain. JD is quite simply in their opinion…unelectable.

The latest polling shows they are among the huge number voting for McCain who is ahead by over 40 points!

This is at JD’s own hand and no other cause.

He makes it worse with every smug word, overly rehearsed quip, and tilt of his huge head.

All the blame game and finger pointing only serves to makes folks more sure that he is one bad guy, unable to stand up on his own and take responsibility, who cannot be trusted to be anything other than what he has proven himself to be…an egotistical, money-driven, self-promoter that would sell his soul if it meant a bigger headline or a better home for Miss Mary.

And I take those words from their comments….

One common note from all…what will he do for a living now? No way does he get his job at KFYI back. Broomhead is rocking the ratings and getting a bigger audience; that sells more ads and cements his position.

These folks all wondered why he couldn’t just keep his mouth shut and keep his job. But he had to be the man..the guy who brought down John McCain.

Instead, he destroyed his own reputation and any chance of a future in the public domain.

He may have done it to himself, but he also did it to his family.

It is becoming more obvious to more people that JD Hayworth, given his past record of fiscal irresponsibility and his obvious tendency to run a poor campaign, will continue to fall in the polls. This will then lead to more decline.

If JD Hayworth had come forward to re-enter the political scene and had a vision for the future and some humility about his past, he could have gotten his seat back from the Democrats who are imploding or he could of helped one of the Republicans in CD5 get the seat back from Mitchell.

Unfortunately, he chose to run on the past, misrepresent his record – consistent conservative – and take aim at a Republican instead of a Democrat.

Hayworth has worked harder to bash Republican John McCain than he did with Harry Mitchell – then and now.

Hayworth did all this based on old grudges and bravado. This is not a recipe for success. That’s why JD is losing.

But my question is when have we taken anything out of context?

Was it when JD said, “Caveat emptor, buyer beware,” about his free money infomercial and then later apologized when he realized the backlash? “I don’t want to offend anybody’s sensibilities, but I have a four letter word for you, real, this is is real.”

Was it when JD said, “We did not declare war on Germany?”

Was it when JD considered “Drive a stake through his heart” said in Newsweek magazine, a death threat?

Was it when JD said the law in Massachusetts for same-sex marriage would lead to marrying your horse?

Was it when JD was still talking about the president and his birth certificate?

There are probably more, I forget now, there have been so many.

CRY??

Follow the sage advice that Vito Corleone gave while slapping a whimpering Johnny Fontane in the Godfather…”you can act like a man!!”

Grow up, JD and supporter. Act like a man, stop your whining, or, please, go home.

And what is so wrong with him filming JD Hayworth? Some other people there were filming (not just JD staffers either) and taking pictures as well. Its not like this was a private event. It was a public PC meeting. JD should expect that he will have his picture taken or videos taken at a public event.

If JD wants to be a Senator and play in the “big leagues”, he needs to grow up and quit having his staff cry over someone taking videos.
