I live in Kentucky and I have contributed to J. D. Hayworth’s campaign because I believe he is a better Republican than John McCain. If you want to know why we have such bad leaders in Congress all you need do is read John McCain’s own words. Here is what McCain said about Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign. This was quoted from the Huffington Post on 10-10-2008:

John McCain was booed by his own supporters during a rally on Friday after he described Barack Obama as a “decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States.”

“[Senator Obama] is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared about as President of the United States,” he said, before adding: “If I didn’t think I would be one heck of a better president I wouldn’t be running.”

Later, McCain was again pressed about Obama’s “other-ness” and again he refused to play ball. “I don’t trust Obama,” a woman said. “I have read about him. He’s an Arab.”

“No, ma’am,” McCain said several times, shaking his head in disagreement. “He’s a decent, family man, [a] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that’s what this campaign is all about.”

At another point, McCain declared, “If you want a fight, we will fight. But we will be respectful. I admire Sen. Obama and his accomplishments.” Supporters booed then also. “I don’t mean that has to reduce your ferocity,” McCain responded. “I just mean to say you have to be respectful.”

Hmmm, if I remember correctly, I heard the blowhard JD bashing McCain well before he even entered the race…another hypocritical statement from JD corner. The funny thing is that McCain’s rather humorous ads are just telling us who JD is and what he is about. JD should think a little more before making decisions that could ruin his reputation if he does not like being called out on it. I live in the East Valley, and I can tell you one thing, my network is HUGE and my friends and family are now convinced JD has not changed from the dumb, ego driven, money hungry, hypocrite he has always been.

Obviously you aren’t or you would know. I have advanced those issues and often.

It is interesting that you comment as though you speak for a large group…the “we” and “we’re” references. Either you are part of the echo chamber for JD or the voices in your head have taken over.

And humorous how you all play your games. August 24th will not be a good day for you, so get your kicks now.

This much is for sure…you do not know the person to whom you reference or you would know, to be thought of as capable to be considered as fine a Republican workhorse as she is high praise. So thank you very much.

You ask Chesley why he supports Hayworth, yet you have yet to state why you support McCain?

Is it because you “owe” him for support in your past attempts to be elected State Gop Chairman?

Or do you get a “tingle” up your leg in his presence?

We haven’t seen either you or Travis advance issues and we’re curious why not!

Basically, he was a POW, is for JD and JD needs money.

Well done Michael, I completely agree with your rebuttal to Mr. Sepulveda’s unsubstantiated remarks. It’s evident he does not like J.D., however, to intimate that McCain would better serve as our representative in the Senate is a joke. As for J.D. being a coward, I think not! He has laid it all on the line for his conservative supporters. He knew the odds were against him from the start, but, he accepted knowing full well that he was putting the well being of his family at risk. Unlike McCain, J.D. is not a wealthy millionaire who will continue to live a pampered life if he loses his bid for the Senate. No, instead, J.D. will have to start from scratch in an effort to provide for his family. McCain has spent millions in an effort to destroy J.D.’s reputation. Has he made some mistakes, you bet. But, he has the courage to take ownership of them and apologize when necessary. I’ve never served in the armed forces either but that does not lessen my love for my country or my countrymen. America has never been in more danger than She is in today and the enemy is from within. Our only hope of stopping the liberal agenda is to elect ‘Conservatives” who will aggressively fight for the Conservative cause. McCain’s record on amnesty, Gitmo, Cap and Trade, the bank bail-out, enhanced interrogation, the Gang of 14, all substantiate that McCain is not fit to lead our cause. He has proven that in the heat of battle, he is too willing to run up the “white flag of surrender to the liberal opposition. I can say with confidence that will not be the case with J.D. Hayworth.
