JPD Says:

Hayworth’s Immigration-Reduction Grades 1994 to 2006

...Hayworth after 12 years gets a grade of “C”, Harry Mitchell has the same grade. All Hayworth is focused on is the Mexican Border – all else are welcome – look at his voting record.
_____

Nice stats you're referencing for JD's record on immigration. But not so fast!

How is that a Democrat, Ann Kirkpatrick, can get an A- rating while JD gets a C+ rating, and Ann didn't do anything on a majority of the issues?

Reduce Illegal Jobs & Presence
JD Hayworth: B
Ann Kirkpatrick: A-
Jim Deakin: No Grade/All Talk No Experience

Reduce Illegal Immigration at Borders:
JD Hayworth: B+
Ann Kirkpatrick: No Grade
Jim Deakin: No Grade/All Talk No Experience

Reduce Amnesty Enticements
JD Hayworth: B
Ann Kirkpatrick: Failed to Act
Jim Deakin: No Grade/All Talk No Experience

Reduce Illegal Immigration Rewards
JD Hayworth: A+
Ann Kirkpatrick: No Grade
Jim Deakin: No Grade/All Talk No Experience

Reduce Anchor Baby Citizenship
JD Hayworth: A+
Ann Kirkpatrick: Failed to Act
Jim Deakin: No Grade/All Talk No Experience

As a matter of fact, the only area that Ann Kirkparick, Democrat, acted was the category
"Reduce Illegal Jobs & Presence."

SHE ONLY ACTED IN ONE AREA AND GOT A HIGHER SCORE THAN JD!

This shows you how ridiculous these kinds of statistics can be.

I suppose if JD failed to Act or wasn't assigned a grade, like Jim Deakin, he'd come out like the liberal Ann Kirkpatrick with an A- rating!

Sure, there were areas that JD could have scored higher on but during the Dotcom boom, the economy was different and better and having some mission critical foreign nurses on work permits wasn't the same as endorsing illegal immigration or amnesty through comprehensive immigration reform.

Look at the context of the situation in the late 1990's because the situation has changed from then, dramatically, since JD's been in office with the advent of 911 terrorism and the Great Recession.

JD's position going forward is clear as a bell. You can read it in his book "Whatever it Takes..."

Hayworth’s H.R.3938: “Enforcement First Immigration Reform Act of 2005”
http://phoenixteaparty.ning.com/profiles/blogs/hayworths-hr3938-enforcement what a porker bill this is and Hayworth states (just again on July 5) that SB 1070 was modeled after it – take a hike Hayworth, you had twelve years and didn’t get it done. Got fired and wrote a book on what you didn’t do (that didn’t sell well at all).

The Grassroots movement in America wants less government. Look at this bill and its progressive increases in federal employees in multiple areas stepped over five years – wouldn’t you think at year two or three there would be no need to add more judges and lawyers and etc., this is Tea Party material?

And Hayworth voted for No Child Left Behind and the Patriot Act - yea as Howard Dean would yell - let's send him back.

Horst said at July 2nd, 2010 at 9:39 pm:"Not so fast Suzanne, Jim is a true American in my book, he offers his life to be a public servant, he is an accomplished business man and he does not need a job. That makes him akin to Senator McCain who does not “NEED” a job either."

This certainly proves that Deakin is a McCain plant in my book! For a McCain sycophant, who must love the power McCain wields, in a very abusive manner, threatening ANYONE who does not kow-tow to his bullying (like JD Hayworth); to support Deakin shows to me two clear ideas. 1. McCain does NOT fear Deakin because he IS SO unqualified 2. John feared JD so much that he 'recruited' a "rightwing nutjob" to attack JD from what many would call "the lunatic fringe".

McCain has been going after JD Hayworth with all the ferocity of a mother bear protecting her cubs. Maybe HE thinks it's HIS seat like Teddy boy thought about his Massachusetts seat, before Scott Brown proved otherwise.

BUT this started a decade ago. First example: controlling the redistricting commission so that JD's district suddenly included ASU campus, not a hotbed of conservatism. Second, getting Dept of Justice to investigate JD's connection with Abramoff AFTER the 2006, costing him $500K in legal fees with nothing to show except JD's Debt. Third, forcing KFYI to shut JD up with a despicable FEC complaint that was unanimously rejected by ALL 6 members of the bi-partisan commission.

Finally, running all the vicious, lying deceptive ads that are so over-the-top, that even his friendly TV stations have to question them to maintain SOME semblance of credibility. McCain's henchmen will even photograph JD's supporters! Perhaps to target them for attacks!? That will be the McCain legacy, petty, vindictive and couldn't care less about Arizona!

I WAS thinking about NOT casting a vote for Senator if McCain wins the primary, but now I think I'll just vote for the Dem. No difference in my mind between McCain and a Democrat.

# Walt Stephenson Says:
July 4th, 2010 at 2:26 pm

Walt: That’s a terrible solution. It adds additional constraints on the Border Patrol and raise’s the threshold for detention and arrest.

Me: Walt, JD didn't get into specifics. What I think he was getting at was that States need to empower local law enforcement with the tools to aid in ridding themselves of illegals. I don't think he was mentioning anything pertaining to federal law enforcement changes. Yes, those laws are more encompassing and less encumbering.

Use common sense, man!

Walt:

The last sentence in your above post hits the nail on the head.

The problem with your suggestion with the GOP leadership and monetary funders lies in the fact that in Arizona, these are the folks who would be hit by its enforcement.

Until this state acquires leadership which can think and act on a long term basis and lose its "bed and breakfast" business mentality and cheap, unskilled labor addiction, we'll be headed for the California abyss!

Holiday said,
"Me: JD was on TV with Sheriff Joe yesterday taking on a socialist La Raza supporter over the issue of illegal immigration. JD’s solution was stark: implement an SB 1070 type Bill nationally! How’s that for a solution! We’ve got illegal aliens hauling a** out of Arizona faster than you can say yeehaaw! How’s that for a “surge?”".

Walt says,
That's a terrible solution. It adds additional constraints on the Border Patrol and raise's the threshold for detention and arrest. Currently the Border Patrol doesn't need reasonable suspicion to question someone's immigration status. They don't have to first stop a suspect investigate and detain him or her for a criminal violation before developing reasonable suspicion to request their immigration status.

To implement a SB1070 type law on the Fed's would make their life more difficult. What I don't quite understand is why law enforcement doesn't explain how this law actually raises the threshold for state law enforcement to enforce immigration laws. Peoples rights are more protected know than before or they will be after July.

The way to stop illegal immigration is simple but it seems no one has the political will. Secure the borders, prosecute those employers that knowingly hire illegal aliens and fully fund E-Verify.

You are so ignorant to think that the will of the people is only your vision. Perhaps if you open your eyes you will find that not EVERY democrat and dem policy is horrific?!
_____

Well, Charlotte, perhaps people will embrace my new vision: me rubbing your feet until you giggle!

That's right! You're too angry and scowling and I want to rub your feet until you giggle and purr. You see, you are a big grumpy kitty. And I want to hear how your purr sounds, since it's how felines communicate.

I'll be able to tell by your purr--it's intensity, pitch and sustain--if you're telling the truth or just making up fables and whatnot!

I suppose, you've probably been treated roughly by some Republicans in the past, that's why you're growling and hissing at me.

Well, Miss Charlotte, you've fluffed out the feathers of the wrong bird this time! When I'm done tickling you and rubbing your feet, you'll purr like a new Cadillac sporting a Rolls Royce engine.

Then, when I'm done feeding you peaches and cream with some strawberry shortcake and a McDonald's Mocha Frappe, you'll be clamoring to vote for JD!

You'll see, you little Grumpette!

Only true conservatives would recognize that we have no real choice in this election. McCain and JD are both awful and Deakin has a few loose screws. So once again we are forced to pick the lesser of two evils. Whoever that is is up to everyone to decide but this site is full of wishful thinkers

Who wants to bet some money that Deakin and Hayworth combined do not get over 45% of the vote?

Mike:

Don't get your trousers in a lump over twits like Charlotte!

She's living proof of "The Stupid Party" depicted by the late Sam Francis.

On one hand they advertise themselves as "solid conservatives" then as soon as possible line up to "reach out" and "create a Big Tent" to the specifications of the intellectual Left!

These jerks will dance a minuet to a firing squad as long as they can keep their "social standing" while doing so!

Hopefully, they'll be erased from party leadership here as in other states.

Otherwise we'll be a poor man's California within a decade!

# Charlotte Says:

_____

Alright, alright! Charlotte's casting a very large spider web, so let's tackle her McCain-esque wiffle-waffler assertions one at a time:

Charlotte: I have yet to hear JD’ ‘raise awareness’ or offer any solutions to, ‘fix the problems.’

Me: JD was on TV with Sheriff Joe yesterday taking on a socialist La Raza supporter over the issue of illegal immigration. JD's solution was stark: implement an SB 1070 type Bill nationally! How's that for a solution! We've got illegal aliens hauling a** out of Arizona faster than you can say yeehaaw! How's that for a "surge?"

Charlotte: I also find the comment - "On the other hand, you have wiffle-waffle McCain who never met a left-wing politician he couldn’t sit down and reach an agreement with, over the will of the people." You are so ignorant to think that the will of the people is only your vision.

Me: Umm...Charlotte! Earth to Charlotte! Hello! Anyone home? You've got friggen' 70% of the American people that want illegal aliens out--now! We're in a Great Recession. Jobs are precious. Oh, McCain wouldn't know that, he's fabulously wealthy, so he can afford to play fast and loose with our future means of subsistence.

Charlotte: Perhaps if you open your eyes you will find that not EVERY democrat and dem policy is horrific?! I am a very conservative Republican but running this Country is more then black and white and McCain knows that.

Me: Charlotte, you're the perfect compromising McCain supporter. Each year the Democratic party resembles more and more the socialist party. I invite you, as a "conservative" to vote for more of the same gibberish that's sinking Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas: illegal immigration overload. Like I said, a vote for McCain is a vote for McCain. Need I say more?

Charlotte: JD will not win this election, JD has so much corruption, so many failures that simply cannot be overlooked. We do not need to let ourselves (the GOP) become vulnerable by allowing JD back into our vision, JD is just to egocentric and unintelligent to return.

Me: Name one case of corruption. There aren't any. NONE. JD Hayworth hawking information on how to get grants is not corruption. I can show you private, flim-flam universities that charge $1,000 a credit for three credit classes for a suspect college degree that'll cost you $80K+ and is of little worth.

As far as failures, "the man who never falls never stands up." Any normal human being has successes and failures. I rather see JD's campaign as a case of "you can't keep a good man down."

I picture the Arizona voter remembering how McCain's Charlotte-type willingness to roll over to the socialist gradualism of compromise with the Democrats led to a vote for Obamao. Thanks, McCain, for not fighting for the presidency. Thanks for Maobama!

McCain is a senile old man that should have been put out to pasture years ago. He can't remember who he is much less where he lives or who he took money from.

Deakin's math skills prove just how silly his campaign really is. Stop pretending, he is in this for his own ego and what ever he can get from McCain.

Mr. Deakin is in this race for his own ego. If he really cared about defeating Senator McCain he would drop out and endorse JD. But Mr. Deakin holds his own personal gains over true Conservative principles!
